I am drunk, listening to this music, with my dear small chihuahua sleeping on my legs, and wondering how I got to discover it... it`s beautiful. Those who have said it is full of a strange longing: they are absolutely right...thanks for sharing...

My first listen to Bavarian Fruit Bread, was a chance encounter a year ago while searching UA-cam for 'Fade Into You', the only track by Mazzy Star I'd known till then. I can safely say that I'm still in as much awe of this album, and particularly of Hope's angelic voice, as I was on day one, even after several hundred listens. Adds to the intrigue that aside from her music there's very little about her to be found online. Maybe that just goes to show her talent to be powerful enough on its own, unlike the cult of personality most other performers use to sell their stuff.
