This song, like every other endings, is based on the episode. And since episode 6 was like an endless loop, this ending also feels like a endless loop. But it also greatly captures how Kanaria uses "minimal" sounds when making music. If you want to see a different point of view at Kanaria's music, I recommend King, Envybaby, and Identity. They are all vocaloid btw, since Kanaria is a vocaloid producer. Sorry for the bad English.

me too, when I check my community, their response on this song is not good (or critical, they say Kanarina has no more potential for this song or balabala). But, I love it, I replay it for nearly 10 to 15 times.
@@campera2ure817 Same I've had the Chainsaw man endings in the background and I always find myself looping or going back to this one. Also I hope that Kanarina can pave the way for more vocaloid artists to do songs for major anime. Idk if there are already some but I haven't heard of any
From my perspective it just seems kinda bland, a song doesnt necessarily have to have a huge drop to be good but it feels like it doesnt introduce much throughout the whole song and stays the same through it all, kind of reminds me of ost’s in videogames like where certain regions or fights will have their osts to match with and they loop back around, but this is just my opinion.
@@araara6667 well it is a vocaloid artist. The vocaloid style is unique. Also it's just how the vocals flow that I love. I get its not for everyone but I love it.
Yeah its really hard to fully run with this because theirs a lot of context with the endings too, they really fit the episodes in particular and build off what you just watched
I like this song. Simple, easy listening. The song is represented the episod when denji and other trapped in looping. Or paradox room(?). Sorry my broken english
I heavily advise you take a look at will Stetson if you haven’t already. He has done English covers on a lot of the end themes for chainsaw man. My favorite thing about his music is he doesn’t just get the instrumental then find translate it and sing it, he changes the instrumental of a lot of songs (his cover of episode 4 end theme is a great example) and I believe he has people write lyrics that actually sound smooth in English as apposed to a more rough translation that sometimes happens to other English covers. Even if you don’t make videos about it, I still recommend taking a look at it
I agree honestly, the song felt pretty simple and did not really progress anywhere. That being said, I think it's an interesting style and matched the vibe of the episode pretty well.
Hey Tony! Love your content! I will say, you review a lot of music on a single listen, having impromptue reactions etc... I think it would be awesome to have a "second listen" series, where you go through some of the more complicated or interesting pieces you've featured on your channel (CSM opening is my personal favorite). Think this could be a great series for your whole channel, to get people into "very smart" but "very difficult music" for those who aren't keen to get stuck in. These types of music arent "difficult, just interesting, and important to get into!". Just a thought! Love your content, keep up the good work! Cheers!
As far as I can tell every ending song is made to match the feel of the episode it's being used on like ending 2 was kinda chill just like episode 2 which was just introducing the main cast. Or it could be just me overthinking 🤷🏻
Have you had any requests for covering the Ado songs from One Piece: Film Red? I feel like that could be a really fun video for you. Each song is a collaboration between Japan's rising star Ado (vocalist) & various accomplished Japanese artists.
To be fair, this is my least favourite one. It takes the lowest spot on my CSM ed list by a huge margin. It was so unremarkable that I couldn’t even remember the melody right after listening to it, which is quite a shame, considering that I like most of this artist’s other songs. But I can’t be mad, since the episode with this ed is a banger! Can’t wait till you get to the 7th ed. I would love to hear your take on it!
well tbf this is kanarias first song with his singing in it so like idk maybe if it was first it would have been better such a big ep should have had chainsaw blood instead but idk
@@pochita-pachinko 7th ed managed to get stuck in my head which i consider good enough, plus i liked the retro aesthetic. Although im not sure if that's just the power of puke kiss working its magic on my brain
I wanna say, this one might be comparatively simple, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. Art is art, and things don’t need to be overly complex to be good. I’ll admit as someone who’s far less capable a music analyst this one did not stand out as much to me as the other songs, but I don’t think it makes this one worse or less than the other ones because of it. I think the variety is good. And it serves its purpose. And I overall still do like it. Otherwise, it just becomes a competition of how complex, eccentric, or stand-outish to make your music, and to put those expectations or set those standards imo is counterproductive to music as a form of free expression.
When they announced that there will be 12 ending song I expected that not all of them will be a perfect fit for the show. As you said it is really simple compared to the other endings. Normally I really enjoy simplicity in all kinds of art, but when it comes to Chainsaw Man variety and complexity played a huge role in setting the tone of the original manga and now the anime and without that it feels a little hollow and only skin deep. In short, on it's own this music is nice, but as an ending it doesn't fit.
You should react to the songs of the Show "Bocchi The Rock!" A lot of Drum and Guitar action, Bass seems fun to listen to aswell. I feel like you'd enjoy it. Current songs I personally enjoy are the Opening of the Show Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet And lastly "That Band" Show is still airing currently so more songs to come probably.
New songs like "flashbacker" "The little sea" "I want to constellation"(forgot the names) "Karakara" "Rockin'rolling" Tbh the whole album ngl lol(its kessuko band)
Here is a suggestion I think you might like, ua-cam.com/video/MeZ6ECW4tWk/v-deo.html "aa waga roman no michi yo" ("Ah, My Romantic Road") - Composed by japanese composer eba, and with PelleK on vocals. He is a Norwegian singer that started doing Anime covers 15 years ago and got the chance to do the actual opener for Skeleton Knight earlier this year. Love the drums, and some impressive vocals on this one
Sometimes I don't even like the opening that much until I see your reaction and analysis lf the ending and I come out of the other side liking them more 😂🙌🏻
I like the song as a casual beat but yeah thought you would not feel as appealed by it as some of the other endings we've had. Still cool to hear your opinion!
I know a lot of people said that the simplicity of this song was done on purpose and the looping and all that which might seem like just an excuse but I recommend you check out some of Kanaria's other works like King. They show just the extent that this artist can go to if he so wishes but he decided to keep it simple for this ending
This song was Kanaria's debut as a singer. His previous works were all featured with Vocaloid voicebanks. I liked this song, it's simple and an earworm for me. Though it doesn't stand out much when you compare it to other endings. Anyway, there's no need for making comparisons right..
Please react to Ado's songs featured in One Piece Red movie. These are the songs I recommend the most, 1.Blacklight 2.Fleeting Lullaby 3.Tot-Musica 4.I'm Invisible
This episode was amazing, I was reading the manga until I saw this chapter (well, a few more but around this chapter) and decided I was going to experience the anime instead, waited only about a year and Mappa announced the anime so I just waited and I don't regret anything. (EDIT: not this ending, this week episode)
Fun fact this is my favorite ending between the first seven, my second would be chainsaw blood (first ending) I don't know why, but I like these two more than the others 🤷♂
I'd like to think of this ending as a sort of a palette cleanser, its not too amazing, its not bad either, its just there kind of in the middle, they can't all be amazing, atleast one has to be the obvious base.
I personally don't like endings 6 + 7, atleast for the show. I love Kanaria's other work & he vocaloid music is really good, I honestly hope he does Self Covers (like King, Yoidore Shirazu & Queen) since this is his first song he's sung herself & he does have a nice voice. Having said that, Rendezvouz on it's own however, this part at 2:01 - 2:06 has been stuck in my head that the song is starting to grow on me. There are cool things in this song that remind me a lot of Yoidore Shizarzu that he made.
Idk but ending 8 is the one I'm waiting for I was waiting for so long as soon as I saw TK was going to do an ending out of the 12 I knew I had to hear it. Oh yeah its a good one I'm waiting patiently for your breakdown
Yeah, this one was not my favourite. Even without much musical knowledge i felt like it was a lot simpler than the others, and not all that catchy. Although personally i've never thought of any of Kanarias songs as particularly complex...Anyway ED7 is pretty catchy, and the new ED8 that came out today is certainly..interesting, so i'll be looking forward to your reactions on those.
I thought we were spoiled too and then ending 8 dropped. I don't understand how they keep getting better, might be the best ending but 4 other big artist remain
I like the song, the simplicity works well in my opinion, but it really could've been longer. The full version is I think not even twice the length of TV size, which means there's just not really anything new compared to what is used in the episode. Which is a *huge* shame because as I said I like what is in the song and think it could've been even better if there was maybe a new verse or two, maybe another variation of the chorus, to at least get it over the 3-minute mark.
I do think it was a bit more empty than the others but I still do think its good. Less hype than the others but think it matches the tone of the episode which in my opinion what makes it good. Also some songs from Kanaria bang, do recommend King. It is nice tho that they try to match the song with the tone of the episode, even if not every ending is hype.
Please listen to Study me and Mirror Tune by ZUTOMAYO, the same band who made ending 2 of chainsaw man. Both songs are probably my favourites from them so far.
I think there’s a good reason this ending didn’t stand out to the casual listener (me & most viewer) & the people who know what’s going on (You) it just wasn’t that good. Love the rest of the endings though! Love your channel as well!
Honestly it works better when you've watched the whole episode and see the visuals and know what it's about. I agree it's not as interesting when you listen to it like this.
If you asked someone to whistle the other endings... they for the most part would have a hard time even picking out a bar or two... simplicity is the music of the people no way around that. Granted some variety is nice too and there was a bit too much repetition out of context... but in context of the episode it makes sense.
This was definitely my least favorite but tbh I didn't expect too much from Kanaria. He blew up in the vocaloid scene at a pretty young age for an entirely self produced musician, and I know there are some very talented musical prodigies but his songs are about what you'd expect from a beginner songwriter. He has some catchy tunes that I can enjoy and jam out to, but none of it is the most complex stuff. Not anything that would hold up to the other people in this ending line-up. And I'd actually say, compared to his previous vocaloid work, this is definitely one of his weakest songs. Nonetheless I am excited to hear him grow as a producer as the years go on.

me too, when I check my community, their response on this song is not good (or critical, they say Kanarina has no more potential for this song or balabala).
Even if you don’t make videos about it, I still recommend taking a look at it
This song, like the episode and the official video, is an endless loop. At first I didn't like it either but it grew on me after a while.
Can’t wait for you to hear ending 8
I really liked this one it’s closer to the music I actually listen too, but it’s definitely a different vibe from the others
Cheers!
This one was the only one I haven't added to my music playlist, was very average

Yeah, just like the visuals, this ending was just viewed and forgotten. I hope this is the only exception!
I love Kanaria but ngl YA this ws super avg

As far as I can tell every ending song is made to match the feel of the episode it's being used on like ending 2 was kinda chill just like episode 2 which was just introducing the main cast. Or it could be just me overthinking 🤷🏻
Have you had any requests for covering the Ado songs from One Piece: Film Red? I feel like that could be a really fun video for you. Each song is a collaboration between Japan's rising star Ado (vocalist) & various accomplished Japanese artists.
Ending 8 just came out and holy moly, it's a banger.
Looking forward to your analysis of both ending 7 & 8.
7th ed was the most boring one IMO
@@pochita-pachinko b... but 7th ed has "GET GET GET ON, GEET ON CHUU",
@@pochita-pachinko 7th ed managed to get stuck in my head which i consider good enough, plus i liked the retro aesthetic. Although im not sure if that's just the power of puke kiss working its magic on my brain
The episode is about eternity devil, so the repeat and repeat chord progressions is to depict the feeling of "endless"
In short, on it's own this music is nice, but as an ending it doesn't fit.
they did them dirty look at there other songs and its crazy they picked this one
i am glad to see someone say what he really think most of the reactors say "OMG THIS IS EPIC" every single time
u should check out this song from Vaundy the singer for the 1st ending called "Hadaka no Yuusha"
The video really adds to this one to get what there going for.
I listened to this song on daily basic I don't even notice the water dripping sound :3
You should react to the songs of the Show "Bocchi The Rock!"
A lot of Drum and Guitar action, Bass seems fun to listen to aswell.
I feel like you'd enjoy it.
Current songs I personally enjoy are the Opening of the Show
Guitar, Loneliness and Blue Planet
And lastly "That Band"
Show is still airing currently so more songs to come probably.
Some of the guitar parts are kinda jazzy too
New songs like "flashbacker"
"The little sea"
"I want to constellation"(forgot the names)
"Karakara"
"Rockin'rolling"
Tbh the whole album ngl lol(its kessuko band)
Here is a suggestion I think you might like,

"aa waga roman no michi yo" ("Ah, My Romantic Road") - Composed by japanese composer eba, and with PelleK on vocals.
Very hype to hear a reaction on ending 8, great musical piece, it's the same group behind Tokyo Ghoul Opening 1
I know a lot of people said that the simplicity of this song was done on purpose and the looping and all that which might seem like just an excuse but I recommend you check out some of Kanaria's other works like King. They show just the extent that this artist can go to if he so wishes but he decided to keep it simple for this ending
Love Ed6 & good reaction 👏🏻👏🏻 but.. Ed8 drops andd
Just like that Ed 8 became the best song so far 🔥🔥🔥 TK ❤
This song was Kanaria's debut as a singer. His previous works were all featured with Vocaloid voicebanks. I liked this song, it's simple and an earworm for me. Though it doesn't stand out much when you compare it to other endings. Anyway, there's no need for making comparisons right..
his other song are so good mann
@@3lurzz Yes! King, Queen, Yoidoreshirazu are some of my fav from Kanaria
ED 8 needed!!! TK ❤❤❤
I think chainsaw man ending 8 is going to make your top 3. It’s by TK same dude that did unravel
Please react to Ado's songs featured in One Piece Red movie.
These are the songs I recommend the most,
1.Blacklight
2.Fleeting Lullaby
3.Tot-Musica
4.I'm Invisible
I agree, it's too chill and too simple for my liking
It was not the most exciting song of the line up for sure but it was still enjoyable, and hearing kanaria sing was a treat
i personally like it when you compare the songs
This episode was amazing, I was reading the manga until I saw this chapter (well, a few more but around this chapter) and decided I was going to experience the anime instead, waited only about a year and Mappa announced the anime so I just waited and I don't regret anything.
(EDIT: not this ending, this week episode)
Keep watching Tony
Todays episode was crazy
💥💥💥
Fun fact this is my favorite ending between the first seven, my second would be chainsaw blood (first ending) I don't know why, but I like these two more than the others 🤷♂
The next ending (7) makes up for this one. TRUST!
I'd like to think of this ending as a sort of a palette cleanser, its not too amazing, its not bad either, its just there kind of in the middle, they can't all be amazing, atleast one has to be the obvious base.
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE OPENINH. 😭 I DON'T GET HOW IT'S BORING
Kanaria is the GOAT
Am i the only one who wants to see him react to Guts' theme "4 Gatsu" ? i know it isn't very complex, but it's still incredible.
You know sometimes the KISS formula just works. (Keep It Super Simple)
You can have that formula but with good chord progressions and better voice leading...
@@DrumRollTonyReacts true
I personally don't like endings 6 + 7, atleast for the show. I love Kanaria's other work & he vocaloid music is really good, I honestly hope he does Self Covers (like King, Yoidore Shirazu & Queen) since this is his first song he's sung herself & he does have a nice voice.
Having said that, Rendezvouz on it's own however, this part at 2:01 - 2:06 has been stuck in my head that the song is starting to grow on me. There are cool things in this song that remind me a lot of Yoidore Shizarzu that he made.
Kanaria is a He
@@takumidoutou4412 I fixed it, thanks
Idk but ending 8 is the one I'm waiting for I was waiting for so long as soon as I saw TK was going to do an ending out of the 12 I knew I had to hear it. Oh yeah its a good one I'm waiting patiently for your breakdown
Ending 8 is gonna blow your mind
Which is a *huge* shame because as I said I like what is in the song and think it could've been even better if there was maybe a new verse or two, maybe another variation of the chorus, to at least get it over the 3-minute mark.
the singer normally makes Vocaloid songs. This was their first time singing. Not sure if guy or girl I honestly can't tell lmao
bro ed 8 was 🔥🔥 you gotta do a reaction on that one
Rendezvousisters, it's over for us
I actually really like this ED lolol
The only big about this song is the voice reveal of Kanaria. but that is not comparable to the success of "King"
This ed is catchy
I do think it was a bit more empty than the others but I still do think its good. Less hype than the others but think it matches the tone of the episode which in my opinion what makes it good. Also some songs from Kanaria bang, do recommend King.
It is nice tho that they try to match the song with the tone of the episode, even if not every ending is hype.
I like this song, but I just expected it to go somewhere but it never did
It has a very simple beat but it’s catchy. It can get a bit repetitive after listening to it for a while tho
Please listen to Study me and Mirror Tune by ZUTOMAYO, the same band who made ending 2 of chainsaw man. Both songs are probably my favourites from them so far.
I feel like you’re really gonna like ending 8
Please the New anime BLUELOCK has a awesome opening. You need to see
I think there’s a good reason this ending didn’t stand out to the casual listener (me & most viewer) & the people who know what’s going on (You) it just wasn’t that good. Love the rest of the endings though! Love your channel as well!
Honestly it works better when you've watched the whole episode and see the visuals and know what it's about. I agree it's not as interesting when you listen to it like this.
cant wait for the reaction of ed 7th and even more for the 8th
the beat is good but it lacked variation. Also, its his first song where he actually sang, so remember that in mind
Well,Kanaria is Female,but who cares,right?

Not the best ed but still nice for what we got. I’m still amazed and grateful that we get different endings to begin with, they can’t all be bangers.
you should definitely listen to the tokyo revengers anime opening! it’s amazing
I can't speak for the 6th or 7th ending, but from what I heard 8 is really interesting. Not sure if you would like his voice.
You should react to Chainsaw man OSTstoo, I think you will enjoy it. Ushio who's composing them is very talented.
I like his voice
If you asked someone to whistle the other endings... they for the most part would have a hard time even picking out a bar or two... simplicity is the music of the people no way around that. Granted some variety is nice too and there was a bit too much repetition out of context... but in context of the episode it makes sense.
Im thinking you can fall in love with the new ending (The 8) Is a very nice and different music, and the seven is fine but the 8 can be the better
I don't love ed 6 but I wouldn't take the time to skip it if it came on autoplay.
1st listen for me okay, but for some reason out of no where I loved it the 2nd time an onward.
Mob Psycho 100 Opening 3 maybe? Since you seemed to really enjoy the first 2.
