4pk810 is the factory belt of those engines. However, if you don't want to force the plastic pump pulley, and break it while installing that you may choose 4pk830 (810) elast. It is more plausible for the M47 engine. So, 4pk850 may cause squeaking, and may feel a harder steeringwheel. And finally, the best way to stop chirping sound when start and stop the engine is replacing the pulley with aluminum one if you may find, and using 4pk810 itself. The much tighter belt the less chirping. Even it will be completely gone. 🫠
If you cannot find an aluminum pulley, another way is to delete all hydraulic power steering components, and to install EPS to stop chirping sound problem of those engines. When it runs with only serpentine belt so chirping sound during engine start and stop will completely be gone. It will also give you around 5-7 bhp back. It is a headache. A production fault of those engines. Even if you replace all belts and pulleys with genuine ones, you cannot avoid that. Chirping sound comes back after a while.🙂
Thank you very much for the comment, I have been using this belt size for at least 10 years with all my customers and there have never been any problems with Contitech belts and the replacement interval is somewhere between 50-60,000 km. In fact, with other producers, exactly what you said happens.
@@JHAMS-007-car-repair Thanks for the brilliant video. Is the AC belt supposed to be replaced every 50-50k km? If not doing this, what could be the consequence?
@@JHAMS-007-car-repair One I looked at has a wobbly wheel (large one on your video), is it probably just this pulley that needs replacing and do you need specialist tools?
Thank you!

When it needs to be replaced, it starts making noise and that's it.

Would it be easier to turn the pulley if the car is put in neutral gear?
It is only necessary if the gearbox is manual.
Thanks !
Can it be tightened?
The belt is elastic
Best easiest way. You're Macgyver dude
The big wheel that this belt sits on is called what? as its not running true(with a wobble), so guessing I just need to replace this big pulley?
If the play of the engine pulley is too big, it can throw the accessory wax out, or make noise.
@@JHAMS-007-car-repair Thanks, I think it might be the flywheel, cant see the bearing getting toast??
