    In the Finnish military service we used to heat up tuna in oil like this. We used to call it "Sissi Tonnikala" which translates to "Guerilla Tuna".

      Guerrilla Tuna, perfect. Probably gonna need that soon.

      I’d love to hear what that sounds like. I’m sure it’s nothing like my pronunciation. 😅 that’s cool to know. Always liked training with different militaries. I was blessed with being in a Ranger unit so we trained with French foreign legion and some guys from Indonesia plus to many more to list.

    Awesome set up! The only thing I might add is a little piece of tinfoil for a lid for the cup. Might help promote a boil. Very cool video.

      I was going to say - a cover of sorts, or a lid would help a ton.

    I have a couple of those same tuna in oil cans in my pantry lol. That's neat to know they can serve an alternative purpose if needed.

    Two things I learned about char cloth ...ALWAYS take/make/use more than you think you'll need and ALWAYS make it out of 100% cotton denim. It absorbs moisture out the air like a mudder flipper, you can dry it out in an oven at lowest setting or simply recook it without oxygen

    I really want that utility knife review/comparison, that you teased around Christmas 😂 I’ve made many comments don’t know how many likes they got. But I know it’ll be better video than “that truck guy”

    This would work with most oils, roll some cardboard or sticks in a can with oil and light it up.

    • @cutlerylover
      @cutlerylover  Рік тому +1

      yup, this is a nice advantage to warm the tuna while also boiling water or starting a fire...

      @@cutlerylover I hope this video will start a trend of survivalists and preppers using canned food as a fuel to cook normal food. That would be a glorious memery.

    Mon y'all sent snow to the California bay area. Hasn't snow here in over 20 something year's. We had some warm week's in Early Feb so it tricked the tree's to bloom early now the rain snow and COLD weather blew in from Canada? Or where ever it came from its a little extra cold this winter late. Are lake's and resavores are getting filled. They'll never say the draught is over because of the $$ they get out of being in a draught

    • @cutlerylover
      @cutlerylover  Рік тому +2

      my local bear do not hibernate...mostly bear who live close to people who eat garbage dont have to go into hibernation becasue of their constant food supply...its natural for bear to hibernate because they dont have enough food during winter but becasue of people and garbage they just dont need to do it...

    Thank you for the knowledge, please don't take this wrong, you are the Shi0t!!!, I wonder if olive oil or even vegetable oil would work with sawdust or leaves or whatever, without using a potential food source? Love you in a non gay way, but seriously, can of tuna for cup of tea? Bad trade Kimosabe!
