Edit: I would like to note that any and all possible reference to the name of Orchestra OERemix's current channel has been removed from the description of all videos in an attempt to dissociate that channel with the content archived on this channel. It's not much but they deserve that peace, at least.
Normally, given this channel is entirely based around uploading content that is inherently not my own, I would try to stay away from commenting. Here, I make an exception.
I understand that the original creator does not want these videos republished in any form due to copyright laws in the creator's country regarding derivative works, and have gone against their wishes in full knowledge of that. However, I believe that no good work of art, regardless of the wishes of its creator, should be let die if it can be saved (ala the works of Franz Kafka). That belief is the entire basis of this channel, in fact.
I would like to like to take a second to apologize to the owner of the Orchestra OERemix channel for my choice to keep these videos alive, but I stand firm in my decision to do so.
While I don't agree to reuploading the creator's works, I do agree with your belief that no work of art should simply be discarded. Thank you, *so much*, for salvaging it.
Fundamentally, I agree with you. I was planning on reuploading these songs in a year or so without the creator's name on them, though. Could you do that, at the very least? You know, so he can make new content without worrying about losing everything due to some copyright bullcrap.
The Happy Madman Sadly not. The works are still his, and if he doesn’t notice someone will. That’s why I kept the songs as mp3 files, to give the creator less trouble but also hold on to his works as they truly do mean a lot to me.

Not me, but I wish it was. If I had even a tenth of Own Eye's musical talents I'd be working on music myself rather than asking permission to use tracks for my tabletop campaign. Trust me, I want to tell OE how good his/her work is too.
It's really unfortunate that copyright laws in his country caused him to back down from doing something he enjoyed. Those remixes were and still are some of the best things I've ever heard. I hope he's happy doing whatever he is doing now.

The last video they made before this was the PMD2 farewell theme orchestral remix... the irony.
I feel bad for the og poster, they were so proud to make remixes only to be stopped by copyright laws..
I find it extremely sad to see such a skilled and talented composer close down their channel out of fear of being sued, especially considering that nowadays there's a record label called GameChops dedicated to releasing free and legal videogame remixes.

The only reason that the creator took them down in the first place news because of copyright laws in Europe, and he didn’t want people to reupload them so it didn’t trace back to him.
Even if it’s wrong, I would still agree to keep them here.
