THis is probably the best video for a pedal I've senn. No talking, so universally understandable. Testing all the functions, going beyond using it in different contexts and showing visual examples. Great test man.
You do a great service demoing pedals in the lower price range. Not everyone can afford the boutique pedals in fashion..

I almost bought a Palmer Timepressor analog delay last night but due to its obscurity and lack of convincing demos on UA-cam, my ears like this digital delay enough to settle for it. Great demo.
It's more about who plays it than what's being used at any given moment. We can make great music using any kind of gear, or even no gear at all. And you demonstrate it beautifully!Thanks Mike!

that is the most amazing take on the Cure. I love the tap tempo for live work. hardly ever tweek the dials. I use a vox tone machine and it has never let me down. This looks very similar, yet with a little more tweekability. I do have big feet, so size may hinder me.

What Cure song(s) is he ripping off & where? =) I like the pedal but the lack of custom preset storage for something this complex is lame = don't want 2 spend all that time 'dialing in' 2 have 2 'manually' reconfigure 2 get 'approximately' 2 where it was B 4, & U know that's not going 2 B exact because the knobs R so small it's impossible 2 put them back quite where they were with your hands = maybe if you attached some really big knob 2 it, with an indexing point? LOL!! Lame = should be a 'digital display' type pedal, not 'bazillion knobs' that just control the DIGITAL parameters inside = WTF? If it's 'digital' than stay 'digital' with the INTERFACE too! =D

I heard your incredible take on Close to Me on the add for Mooer ShimVerb and the same audio advertises the Reecho. Can you confirm its should go with the Reecho or did you use both? This one seems to be the only one with Reverse.

I saw one of these on Craigslist locally for $100, and I thought, "Look at this fool trying to sell a Mooer pedal used for $100!" I had no idea they made something like this, guess I was the fool! It's still there, so I'll give it a try at that price.

at around 6 minutes in you're playing a loop...is that the pedal looping or are you playing a looped track through the pedal?
I have the same question. In 4:35 too.. he starts with a loop but didnt showed recording it previously.. So dunno if this pedal can apply delay to his own recorded loop. :/

@@FelixStatik I think delay cannot be used when using the looper. First loop with delay is not from pedal, and the second loop without is.

Mike, how do the Suhr Strat and the Xotic Strat compare? Not sure how honest you're allowed to be on this public a forum...
My 2 favorite guitars. The neck on the Xotic is by far my favorite neck in any guitar. The Suhr has silent single coils so that's pretty awesome. They sound different and both play extremely well. I could live with either...

It is super reliable, I use it quite frequently, and really loving a lot of the sounds this thing can bring. It takes a lot of experimenting, but I love it

What these reviews don't tell you about is the tone suck and digital noise. It makes great sounds, very tunable and beautiful, but over time the noise and tone suck just gets to you... Parted my ways with mine after a half-a-year love-hate relationship.
How much does this change the tone? Is it noticeable?
On clean guitar its not noticeable. But with dist pedals yes. Volumen down and treble sound
Bad DAC = tone suck. They should use a better clock & chip =) Doesn't cost more, just need a redesign. The AD1981B sound GR8 = old 'obsolete' comptuer chip that sounds natural, common in some Dells (accidental glory =)
LOL I think maybe that's what makes the pedal sound so good in the demos? Lot of roll off on the highs? Less 'digital' sounding? Also, tried 'buffering' the signal? Funny 2 mention 'volume', as if that is a problem = TURN IT UP! =))
