Hi! I had a question about the front fenders at 16:13 the gray nine hole piece (not sure what to really call it) feels like it's too long to fit the fender pieces in without pushing it down, but in doing so, makes the pieces not line up, any advice?
Nevermind, I figured out what I did, instead of putting the long piece between the other two, I put it on top, causing the issue

Hi!! Your tutorial helped me a lot!!! But i have one mistake in the rear bumper the lights are not attached to the bumper. But i dont wanna open it. Will i keep it like that or ill open becuase j dont wanna open it.

Step 68, on 5:25, it shows you to push the red thing forward and down but we didn't know it had to be kept down and locked in.
Would anyone have any suggestions for me to try before I go back bigger steps, re-engineer, and fix this issue. Thank you.

Yes your right, Step 37. Would I have to go back and disassemble the car to get the red part to sit down in place so that the car actually works as currently it doesn't move when you push it backwards?@@TopBrickBuilder
Unfortunately yes, that's a way too basic step, you have to disassemble mostly of the car
My brake lights are not attached to the rear bumper
That was my mistake at this step too, see here timestamp 10:50 where i have shown down right image how to install the right way of this rear bumper, if you made like me in video that's a mistake, try to put those green things up, not down and then your lights will sit on this bumper.

Mine came with a missing part little grey thing so I got a replacement from Lego came in about 5 days or so and finally completed the build! Missed sticker 22 as there’s no need for it lol and I’m confused about the red stick that u pull out? What’s to do with it once I’ve completed the back bumper?
See here 22:07 if you want to remove back bumper and install the red bar
The front bumper bit at 14:20 - did you just rest it on that front section and build around it to secure it or do you slot it onto that black bit that’s pointing up? I’m stuck on my build and it doesn’t say it anywhere
Yes, you have to slot into that black bit pointing up, and then build around it.
Struggling on the taillights any advice?
It depends what problem you have there.
My problem is that the bar that holds the lights won’t go into the other piece

I had to use a 1x2 to keep the tail lights from continuing to fail like in your video. Then yours magically stay up once the center piece goes in. How did you do that?
My mistake was at 10:50, I have shown in the bottom right corner how is the right position of the green piece. I have realized that later, when the taillights was falling like yours, have changed it at final but have shown at 10:50 how to install the right way. Sorry about that 😕
Anyone else have issues with the rear brake lights just wanting to sit in a downwards position I had to use the final piece you build as a way to prop it up is this right?

I was confused why I didn’t have a 3 size axle, 5:28 helped me realize that it uses one 3 size axle. Thanks dude.

I Cant find where the sticker number 22 is set. Can someone hela me in what step?
It's the first sticker that you have to use, see here 1:00
On the back bumper the three pieces that sit on top of the grey exhaust tips,did you face the holes down to be flush with the exhaust tips? The book that came with the set has them facing up with a space between them. Is facing down better?
Both versions are right, it's just visual aspect 😉

There are always some spare parts, but at that moment I didn't recorded what pieces left. In newer videos I am showing what pieces are extra.

I cant put to taillights into place any way to help I built it the same but the tail lights won't go in
At what step or moment you are?
Maybe I’m Mr. Picket but here are three things I found interesting.
1. The AR app is NOT available on Apple devices.
2. No seat belt stickers. They would help the looks inside the car.
3. On instruction panel #8 the part 6321747 is installed. It is not repeated on the other side of the car and has no real purpose. But all in all a nice model.
Hmm, that's interesting facts! Sadly that they didn't make it to work AR on Apple devices... About stickers i agree, on Bugatti Bolide they have added, and looks nicer with them. About some parts, yes, that's true, they are doing the same with other models too, and that's interesting))

my back tires don’t spin
Even if you are pressing the back long bar to start the car?
Did anyone else have issues with getting the brake lights on? I’ve torn the whole thing down and still can’t get the car line up properly in the back to fit the brake lights on
10:50 usually the problem is with this part, see the right bottom pic to see the piece that should be installed the right way

If you ran out of the pieces, seems like it's a mistake from LEGO, sometimes there are some pieces that they missed to put in bag... ((

Hi Tanji! It depends, if your son have crafted before this some Technic you can buy it, but if he doesn't have experience it can be quite difficult
He is in Lego mindstorm robotics class. Mm .. I don’t know whether he can build this Ford Mustang...
If he is in Mindstorm and wants this Mustang then he has chance to finish it.

I bought this today and when making the first door, the connectors are one stud off on the back despite the instructions telling me to do it, I see this set as garbage like most of the others, weirdly enough they also do illegal moves in the instructions, this really did nothing but create more problems to the point where im considering returning this

Hi There I have been in touch on a previous occasion. i would like your advice. Firstly I am 82 years of age however have already built A Peugeot super car, a Mclaren, car a Fire fighting plane and a 42138 sports car.
I am temped to by the new Mclaren P1 car which has over 3,000 pieces. I think you have already videoed building this model and there is also a Lego Builder video program.
As this is an expensive product I would just appreciate you advice as to whether, with my previous experience and due to my age , whether you think I could cope whis build?.Gordon
Hi Gordon, yes, if we consider your experience with Peugeot, then you will handle the P1. The P1 is just bigger, but not so hard as it seems like. Unfortunately I haven't bought it yet, so I can't tell more details about P1, I have to buy it and to record the video for it... 😭

You could slow down the Playback Speed in UA-cam settings, but sometimes you appreciate more the confection when it's builded by your hands 😁
