    Circle to circle trick(use the innner Pythagorean triangle) coz the radius to radius line might not meet at the origin to form a right angled triangle

    The last one can also be done by the isosceles triangle property just like sir did in the first one.
    (1+r) √2=4
    r=2.8-1
    r=0.16

    At 18:45 why didn't sir use the isosceles triangle property by using total of both radiuses as hypotenuse and 1+r as other 2 sides which will give r= root 2-1

    Could any one please explain how sir calculated r of small ball (time 15.25) where the answer was 3-2√2.

      (1-r)√2=1+r
      √2-√2r=1+r
      √2-1-√2r=r
      √2-1=r+√2r
      √2-1=r(√2+1)
      and rest you can understand from video

    sir horizontal line is not whole 1 bcoz its only radius , 13:31 please tell sir

      He has taken horizontal line as 1 because parallel above where the big circle touches vertical line that is = radius = 1 so the horizontal line is equal to and parallel to the radius above therefor the horizontal line is also = 1 but we need horizontal line only till the centre of smaller circle therefore we dont need half of diameter of smaller circle that is its radius and hence the horizontal line's length is qual to 1 - r

      In iscoles Right angle isocles triangle, the angles formed at the vertex is always 45 - 45 - 90 degrees. which is in 1:1: root 2 parts of side......Hope I cleared your query...if not then let's discuss more on this...Thank you.

    sir in two circles concept if we solve triangle by 30,60,90 degree ratios than i am getting answer as r=1/3 but by pythagoras answer is 1/4

    I didn't understand how 1:1:Root2 ratio was derived and how 1+r = (1-r)xRoot2 at 14:00. Can someone please help me with this? :(

      It is a theorem
      45:45:90 theorem
      Applicable on right angled triangles
      You can also apply the Pythagoras theorem
      You will get the same answer
      Have a look at his videos on triangles
      It has been explained there

      Hypotenuse^2= (1-r)^2+(1-r)^2
      Hypotenuse^2= 2(1-r)^2
      Hypotenuse= √2(1-r)^2
      Hypotenuse= 1-r√2

      We know that the side of triangle is 2; which results in an equilateral triangle.
      'B' is a point which is at equidistant from each of the three vertices(centres of each bigg. circles)., that is "1+r" from each centre to the smaller one.
      Thus, we can simply state that 'B' will be the circumcentre or taking that 'AB' will be the circumradius.
