Hello! Thank you for your feedback! Yes, that's right. This melody is played during the chorus in the studio version by The Edge on a 2nd guitar line, however, the studio version also has a primer guitar line playing the basic chords. At the live versions since The Edge can also play only one guitar line at the same time, the 2nd guitar line heard during the chorus had to be transferred to the bass guitar, which is played by Adam. This reproduces the sound of the studio version very well. A lot of U2 tribute bands don't play that, even though I think it's a very important part of the song and the bass theme.
A tip David Petillo in Ocean NJ works on all Springsteens, U2, Bon Jovi, and other groups guitars and bass'. He has the guitars bass' shipped to him. He immediately refrets the necks, etc. U2 visited David Petillo's house in Ocean Nj close to where i live and David is a friend of mine.

Hello Niall, Thanks for your feedback! It is very hard to find the right backtrack for my covers. For the JT30 project I wanted to select only recorded songs from Joshua Tree and Lovetown tours but unfortunately there any only a few concerts which were recorded in a good quality. One of them is the MSG concert was. Unfortunately the live track is really high but my bass line try to balancing this :) Hope it is not too annoying. But I am wondering you said the bass volume is a bit low because I asked people and they said the my bass guitar clearly audible in the song.

i didn't realize there was such fast picking in this song.. i always heard it as like half these picking.. like 8 picks per measure
