- A 3 minute film showcasing Garnethill Synagogue and the Scottish Jewish Archives Centre and recently-opened Scottish Jewish Heritage Centre which are based in the Synagogue.
I visited there yesterday and I would highly recommend a visit there. My guide David was friendly, informative and witty. The visit gave me an insight into the lived experience of the Jewish community in Scotland and elsewhere. It is such a beautiful building and well worth a visit. On signing the visitor's book I noticed quite a lot of the visitors to the synagogue were American. I didn't realise people from outside Scotland would visit it.

When Spain and England tossed the Jews out, Scotland took them in. Very proud of that part of my history.
Yes and they were people of colour.. and Scotland has been Jews long before 1492 and had nothing to do with Ashkenazi Jews. They were Sephardic Jews people of colour.
As a Scottish Muslim, would I be welcome to visit?
