Is this know better for top rope then the normal figure 8 follow through? Does the second loop at the end make it better?

In what circumstances this double figure 8 is needed over the single figure 8?

It can be used for a load distributing anchor in technical rescue, creating leg loops for a victim harness, redundancy for weight, and more. I will put out a video that better explains some of these circumstances in a few days.
