Will the Peasant require backup in the form of other cheap units such as Halfling for his smaller hitbox and jump or Spear Thrower for its inexpensive range to solve problems punching could not?

There's a way to make a custom unit with 0 cost, so technically if you permitted custom units it would be 0
I haven't looked that into the Unit Creator much myself so I don't know how it works with cost but you probably could do that lol.
The minimum they can cost is 21 dollars if you set the cost to manual, so then you can just make a “dark peasant” and destroy everything, but it’s probably against the rules

Yeah, that could be interesting but would be really hard to know for sure what the minimum is. The upside to this video was that I knew 30 was always the theoretical minimum

This is basically “Put peasant on thing to lure units off the map”. Also, you can just turn on a gameplay setting that makes all units usable

Fun fact: The peasant is essentially just a regular wobbler, just cheaper. The default wobbler costs about 70 money.

Thanks! The pain mostly comes from doing a "minimum" run. It's when you're sure something's possible but the stars have to align to actually work. And sometimes they do align and you find out you were wrong anyway.
The peasants are revolting and are too powerful for us to contain them!!

@@carrott36 That line was just a reference to Edgar Allan Poe's "Quoth the raven nevermore" line. A group of ravens is called an unkindness so I just added that with the quote.
The tactically challenging campaign isn't tacticallg challenging at all.
It's skill challenging. (If you wanna try 1 unit)
But if you don't do 1 unit challenge, most of the level can be cheesed with 1 ballista/gunslinger and some cheerleaders. 2 ballista if you have enough gold.

@@BarelyAlec The answer to super peasant is 60: Just put a peasant in the edge of the map and another one far away without any line of sight to super peasant, that way she overflies to death and can't fly to the other one because its out of sight

You could continuously spawn peasants until you spawn a tiny one (sizes are random) that fits under the trees. But it might take like 10 minutes to even get one.
Oh that's a great point! So they can spawn small enough to fit like that? I know they can spawn different sizes, but I don't remember the exact ones possible.

I'm still considering doing this challenge again without manually controlling units, but probably won't do the other campaigns with this exact challenge
By the way you can negate fall damage by not landing on your feet, and enemies cannot attack while kncked over
