Glad you had someone with you, be careful. Love the video and would love to do this myself. Did when I was younger and sure miss it. So I enjoy your videos, thanks 😊
I was going to spend the night there one time, but all the rooms had wasp nests and lots of mice. Farther up the road is the old geologist cabin. Fortunately no one was there, so I had a good night’s sleep and a warm fire.
Who cares if people live in them they aren't bothering anyone and with all the abandoned places they should let homeless people live there as long as they take care of the property
I care. These places are national monuments for everyone to visit and experience. if people are squatting in them and refusing other people access to a public place, which is also a national monument, it's a fuckin problem. These bums can hoof it on down the road and make their own house on some BLM land if they want to.
Those two Ladies I'm thinking are going to use the fairly popular version of "Sovereign Citizen" as to having "rights" to live in the abode that is actually on property that is already home to a National Monument. Would be something to see how that goes down when The Rangers show up. The Toilet in the Cave was an laugh out load moment since "squatters" was in the thumbnail too! Very cool area and of course Poe The Raven showing up was the Cherry On Top a lovely visit! Nice to meet and greet Bradley as well! Appreciate as always the saved seat on this journey! Stay Safe and Keep Strutting! Cheers From Ohio
We where out there May 2020 for two days. went out and back to Butte Valley. Didnt see another soul except two helicopters that came flying in low through Butte Valley at night.
Hey there great video, love the choice of music, very interesting, I'm not into commenting on what people do, everybody just do your own thing. The Raven was awesome . You made me laugh when you spied the toilet in the cave, just the way you sounded so excited. I first seen you with Wonder Hussy, she is another cool woman. I wish you the best of luck and safe journeys . You will do well. Enjoyed your video very much.
Nice video. Only complaint is they tend to be short. If I get a couple videos in my list I often watch a longer video and leave shorter ones to watch together later if I remember to go back to them. Or I will check the channel every couple months and play the videos as a group. Hope you are having fun in Moab.
Warm Springs Camp! The Talc mine there is actually accesable .. I was in it Nov. 2020! Surprised you didn't run into the burro's .. they seem to like that canyon .. probably because of the water. 🤠
I was there Nov 2020 as well, there was a contractor gathering burros into a trailer, I suspect they were moving them to another location. I was impressed he could drive the trailer on those roads.
@@259Den3 They sell the burros and horses to canada 3rd party then they go to Japan for food, it is unlawful to sell them for food so they use the 3rd party in canada,, they get good kickbacks for it too.
@@259Den3 You must have been there the same time as me! I talked with the young guy driving the truck .. the burros are brought to a holding area by Furnace Creek and they are tested for DNA and diseases .. once cleared they are offered up for adoption. 🤠
Cool video, hopefully the squatters ended up someplace better and legal for them to be at. Also, the mine entrance /restroom looked cool. I wonder if there was some sort of partial cave in at the entrance that caused that gate to be half buried.
I got to know two brothes who along with a third guy were working a claim above there, when a bunch of manson women and kids were living there, the guys would give the kids baloney sanwiches because they were skinny and raggedy the women came out and told them to stop feading them their answer was go to hell we'll feed the kids and if your dogs keep coming barking when go by they will get shot, evidently the manson clan got the word cause there were no more threats.
My first thought was what are those ladies going to eat? What are they going to do in summer when it's 128 degrees outside. There's no water in the pool ladies. I think there's gotta be a better place to squat.
Yeah, it’s a little unsettling to find a person living there .. We were in a big cave over on the Skidoo side and came into a big room, saw a table and chairs with a bottle of wine and a box of Frosted Flakes and other stuff. We skedaddled on outa there when we smelled cigarettes
I love the music 🎶 the banjo it's so soothing I can understand them to ladis from wanting to escape the rat race not saying it's right but one can understand love all your content and you ❤️
As a new subscriber. I want to commend you, on your format. Keeping the videos under 15 minutes, is a great idea. Speaking for myself. If I go up on the net. I usually have at least 15 minutes. Which means I will view the video, right then. Longer videos, sometimes, get set aside. And then maybe I get back to them, and maybe I don't. Good luck.
I've seen that pool full of water as recently as 2020 and now it's empty again. I'm sure the rangers threw the squatters out. 14 day camping limit goes for everyone. Did you go down and look at the mine entrance?
most of Leones westerns were filmed in Almeria, Spain. he did film part of Once Upon in Monument Bally as the other commenter noted. I wish it was easier to visit some of those places!
@@kevinjamesdriscollThank you very much. I really want to visit the Old Western film sights in traveling. Nothing like watching the movies and having a chance to walk in the steps also. Thank You
@@kevinjamesdriscoll I'm in the exploring history years. It would be interesting to find people interested in exploring the old western or old movie sites. Maybe a dumb idea? It is something to do these days.
OMG get yourself a walking staff. Before you walk next to shade from scrub check it with your staff. A rattlesnake can't be seen and most don't rattle until they strike. By the way ,"IT HURTS LIKE HELL, THOSE FANGS ARE HUGE !!!" 💀
That cool banjo tune went well with your video. And you are right about those squatters. So annoying when people like that who are doing something illegal get into your face and get all uppity. They should have used psychology And been nicer ,you wouldn't have been so inclined to rat them out. I would have done the same thing in your situation.
I think it's great that you wanted to get away from society for as long as you need to . I on the other hand am tired of being alone in society so I want to explore but meet people.. ironically different lol
I feel bad for people like that but like you say it's pretty smart me I give up on the idea of the American dream a long time ago every time I've had a place something or somebody has taken it away from me so I just quit trying everybody says get a place get a place for what so they can take it again no I don't think so 😉👌🐝
I'm a new subscriber and very much enjoy your videos but one piece of constructive criticism would be to put something over your microphone to cut out the wind noise. Most of the videos I've watched lately you can't even understand what you are saying. Very frustrating
Those buildings look well built, must have been nice in their prime. I'm glad you didn't argue with the squatters, your safety is important
It's Neat ,Great Video 🎶😊💖....
This grinds my gears!

Rangers checked the camp and no one was present yesterday, they were reported but there were no signs of anyone staying in them
Who cares if people live in them they aren't bothering anyone and with all the abandoned places they should let homeless people live there as long as they take care of the property
I agree. People shouldn't be so uptight and report them.

Don’t hear much about Sovereign Citizens since BLM hit the air ways.
Sovereign Citizens are still around. COEXIST

The music is great. It reminds me of my favorite movie " Once Upon A Time In The West" with the Great Charles Bronson. Great videos. Geep them up.

The other group of jeeps were gonna let the rangers know about it 🙂

These days a lot of homeless peeps will be setting up shop in abandoned mine sites, ranches et all. Be safe and be on the lookout for the crazies.🖤🖤❤
So great that The Homeless are not crazy.
Is this the manson ranch? The Raven is big snd loud.
I'd be afraid of mountain lions especially in the caves but seems squatters have no fear 😨
I'd have lost a bet on there being a swimming pool in the desert!

A Pilgrim visited a Man who lives in a Cave to find The Truth.
The Man in the Cave responded, "There is no Bathroom in a Cave, and that's The Truth!"
Maybe you can show the sites where " Once Upon a Time In The West" was filmed some time ? Just an idea.
I think Leone filmed it in Monument Valley, as a tribute to John Ford and John Wayne.

Why?
@@ellobo768 because that building belongs to Jeepsy as much as the squatters as this is a National Park. They have no right to deny entry.
