It's roleplaying being anti-social in ways they wish to but can't in real life. These people are the socially stunted fringes of society that have socialized primarily on the internet even during their primary development stages. They are some of the first generations to literally have not played outside as a kid at all. Unfortunately spaces like this seem to become echo chamber gathering spaces that enables their anti social behavior to go unaddressed, where they can get that feeling of punching down on others etc.
I used to think politicians were bad, but then I saw how red dead players are when they have a little bit of control and I think I’ll stick with the politicians
