This is my favourite halo 1 AUP so far, I think I remember something about a room off in void space in the ship map that no one could get to, I can't remember any other details though.
That room sounds interesting, i think there are some hidden rooms in this game, yeah this one is so cool but honestly my favourite is the spirit dropship always i wanted fly one when i was a child. I think in this level i can aup the dropship and fly around the map but for now i am in process to news aups like keyes, foehammer pelican and more.
The AUP is great but I'm surprised you were able to trigger the cutscene and teleport for the giant hole from earlier in the level. Reminds me of the time travel glitch in Halo 3.

I used the shield bump to skip the trigger, like a normal speedrun.
