Love driving the coast road in Wales, done it several times, but not with the caravan on the back, also never been over the bridge with the caravan, straight down the M6 for me. Useful tip, never knew you could pay for the bridge before hand. Thanks for sharing.
So nice you get to travel together. And so annoying when things dont work. I was stressed out watching you drive through that little town. Weather looks great.
Bob you have forgotten again, you don;t have to keep pressing the button to check the water level just one long press until it beeps and the readings stay on 😊. Enjoy your holiday, hope the weather holds out for you all 😎.
hope you both enjoy your welsh trip..no tv or satellite signal sounds perfect to me..listen to the radio or read a book or play your favorite music..in 25 years of camping never watched or taken a tv with me..never will.. think if i was obsessed about getting a satellite signal i would stay at home..
Excellent vlog. I must compliment your driving, as I never get nervous watching your trips and BTW never mind we all go wrong due to the Sat Nav being very slow to update when going around roundabouts. As usual both your subtle sense of humour gets a few laughs. Sneak around the toilets and being Wales, it always rains, hilarious. We have watched all your videos and never tire of the content. Thank you.
To be fair the satnav didn’t take you the best way once you crossed the bridge..I’m glad you leave the mistakes in...we all go wrong from time to time.
I rent a house in Benllech, you will pass it enroute to Beaumaris.. Visit Moelfre...you can free camp along the beech at Llandonna...visit the ship Inn at red wharf bay...Newborough beech is stunning.!
We love this site. We have stayed twice. Anglesey is an amazing place. We visited Penmon lighthouse, Southstack, the copper mine to name a few places. Ian...
Nice to see you setting up Bib and using the calapse waste pipe ive just purchased one so that was great. Lovely video with your over talk on info. Great editing sorry you went the wrong way but tgese things happen. Xx
Hi bob, stop stressing about your car when towing, your car will follow your motorhome, so if your motorhome goes round a corner without clipping anything so will your car, same with a caravan. The only trl you need to worry about as for taking swings is when driving an artic. Hope this helps.
Thanks, I'm not stressing about it, but my experience is that the car does not follow the exact line of the motorhome and I've caught kerbs which I've missed with the Motorhome rear wheels, so I always take a wider line. Better to be safe etc... ☺
@@BobEarnshawMoHo you must be doing something wrong bob I've towed 3 different cars with 2 different motorhomes for over 10 years now and in my vast experience they follow the towing vehicle. I'm writing this comment for any subscribers who may be put off towing a car with a motorhome.
Don't know about motorhomes and car but a caravan doesn't follow the line of the car it'll cut the corner. Tighter the corner the worse it is. I've come close to clipping many a flower planter etc when on sites!!
@@nickbell8634 thats probably because the flower planters etc Are where they shouldn't be. What I'm talking about is normal driving on roads. Caravans are built on an a frame so if you take a corner or bend in a normal manner The caravan will just follow you round.
Morning campers, just a quick question does the cap you put on your fresh water tank to connect your hose to vent the tank or do you have to take the top of the tank? Enjoy your break!
I had the flashing lights problem with the satellite receiver once. I went up on the roof and cut the ends off and put new connectors on. It fixed it. I think the flashing lights mean that the dome isn't getting sufficient power to move the dish inside.
North Wales expressway, (but not always). Did that run many times as caravan was at Morfa Lodge for 3 seasons. Came off at Bangor and turned right - large Tesco, then to caravan. I wish you would lay your cable out rather than just throwing it in a heap
@@BobEarnshawMoHo As we had seasonal pitches, plugged in for 8 months I was more cautious and ran it around the caravan so there was no loops - pet hate
Hi Bob & Jenny.... you in the north and us in the south of Wales.... will we meet in the middle ?? 😂😂 By the way..... should have gone to Specsavers Bob 😂😂 Trev n Sue
Great vlog, when did they open the new bridge over the Mersey? I did see it in the planning stage and how they had the challenge of the environment. Can’t wait to use it. Thanks .
Not a silly question, but you have to park with the driver's side level to the pitch marker, if reversing in, and passenger side level if going in forward. It's for fire regulations reasons, to keep safe distances between units.
Just got to say it! It is not and has NEVER been CONWAY! If read properly it says CONWY! (there is no A in it so you don't say it!), No Excuse whatever, as you can probably pronounce French somewhat?, unless it is deliberate mispronuncment? which is appalling!
Enjoy your campsite arrivals very much
Thanks
Had to laugh
Bob..."do I go straight on "
Jenny..."yes cause that's Asda"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think I would have missed that roundabout exit too Bob. Like the bits on hooking up water etc. too.
Thanks, makes me feel better 😁
I spent many's a summer holiday in Rhyl. My folks had friends in Anglesey, many great memories 😉👍
Excellent video glad to have my daily dose of Bob and Jenny back.
Loved the silence after the wrong turn....priceless bob x jenny moment 😃👍
Lovely video Bob, thanks for sharing your hols. I hope Jenny and yourself have a fantastic time
Thank you, we will.

Nice to see you detour for a second more in depth look, classic Bob absolutely classic.👍🤭
Excellent video, love the flexi pipe.
Well after all that at least the van stayed clean 🧼 🧽! Looks mint still 👍
Won't be clean for long....
Great vlog, very enjoyable as always, looking forward to the rest of your trip.
Nice to see you in our neck of the woods. Hope you had a good time.
Thanks, having a good time.
Hi there don't worry about the slight oversight (that's what I like to call it) it has happened to us all at some point. 😍😍🚙🚙Xx

Yes the A5025 turn right would be better
We got lost trying to find Morrisons in Brecon....ended up seeing the same street 3 times...
Great vid..thinking of going there this year if we can
Whoops ! Over bridge take A5025 turn left into B5110 and site is on right . Easier to turn into entrance as well .
cracking vlog, guys. I felt like I was travelling with you and sorry for the late comment as I only found your channel today

It's alright Bob, I would have took that as the 2nd exit aswell 😂😂
Penmon point is a nice spot Bob with cafe there too
So I’m not the only one who miss hears the satnav

Thanks, hadn't heard of it.
Morning campers, just a quick question does the cap you put on your fresh water tank to connect your hose to vent the tank or do you have to take the top of the tank? Enjoy your break!
The HEOS connector does, but the tank has it's own overflow/vent, so it starts coming out of that first.
I had the flashing lights problem with the satellite receiver once. I went up on the roof and cut the ends off and put new connectors on. It fixed it. I think the flashing lights mean that the dome isn't getting sufficient power to move the dish inside.
Yes, that's what Roadpro said, I think there is corrosion inside the dome, but I will try another cable.

It's not exactly in a heap, but just for you, I will lay it out neatly next time. 👍

Great vlog, when did they open the new bridge over the Mersey? I did see it in the planning stage and how they had the challenge of the environment. Can’t wait to use it. Thanks .
It opened in October 2017, we drove across it shortly after in November 2017.
Kilometres Robert ? We're still on miles !!
I would have left the excess eltricable cable rapid around the disc until he said not too in case it overheats
Tightly coiled cable carrying a heavy current gets warm and can catch fire.
Hi Bob, do u know what's happened to Dan and mazzy,? Not seen them on UA-cam for a few weeks,?
Sorry I don't know what's happened to The Travel Trolls TV UA-cam channel. I only know that Mazzy has her own channel called Mazzy X
Hi is the site road one way in one way out looked a bit narrow to be 2 way
No, it's both way, that's why there's a 1pm arrival time to stop people meeting half way.
Bob where did you get the collapsible waste pipe thank youn
Here they are Colapz Flexible Waste Pipes

Silly question why didn't you park closer to the connections ?
On CMC sites the drivers corner needs to be level with marker

First viewer !! Yes
Why were you hogging the middle lane, gives us a bad name !!!
If you mean on the bridge, the inside lane was for a junction. I certainly don't hog the middle lane. It's an offence to do so.

Well, I'm am terribly sorry to have pronounced Conwy incorrectly. Absolutely appalling I should be taken out and shot at dawn.
