The mind boggles where this goes... that second ball hitting the loop perhaps shows the processing limits of trying to simulate the real world. If AI can learn concepts and acquire agency, we are in a brand new world.

@@cyberjungle I hadn't thought of that but yes, it is admirable that they show weaknesses to set expectations realistically... it's also got us all thinking carefully how we might use this, what it's limitations might be, which I think is in their interests too ultimately. I cannot believe the pace of development in AI currently, it is just staggeringly fast.
