The best part of the trick is the sudden appearance of the little gremlin in front of the camera at the end of the floating piece (at 1:13) The gremlin looks so real...
@@Mainswitch55 I watched that part over and over, with my brain convincing me that he had both hands off the table. After reading your comment, I watched it again and see that he was always touching it. You can even see the weight or balance transfer. That's what makes magic so good at times.
The guy in the video (losander) is the original inventor of the trick ^_^ it's really simple but at the same time really difficult XD making the table move fluidly to not break the illusion is the hardest part of it :P
@@CreaturesEnvy yeau I know the mechanisms behind it, but even if you give it to me, I won't be able to perform like that, it takes a lot of practise to perfect, the table is a true art though, I love German engineering and craftsmanship, you always get an authentic and high quality product fully worth the money you pay
Jason X yes. When he let's go of the wire his other hand is holding the table with the lid of the box since its attached and doesn't come off completely. When he closes the lid he makes sure his hand is back on the metal wire
Table is not wood.. It's hollowed out styrofoam wrapped in high glossed wood print veneer paper. Extremely lightweight. Under the paper on the table top are 3 very thin pieces of metal distributed evenly across with one being in the middle. The cloth has a very thin but strong rod with a thin magnet and hinge attached to it, about the size of a dime that is sewn into the cloth.. The box which is also styrofoam has a thin magnet on the bottom. Dealing with a few ounce instead pounds. How he makes the table disappear on some of his act.. Table top and leg are separate but held in place with tiny magnets, large Overcoat with metal sewn-in ..

I saw him use the table on a Penn and Teller show. The big finish had the table appear to vanish while under a heavy cloth. I speculate the table is composed of several lightweight, strong, hollow pieces held together with a string. By pressing on hidden catches, the pieces separate. That's my idea of how it works.
Wade barnett that's where i'm was just coming from. Penn and Teller fool us with this trick. so it's done with magnets? and how did he make it vanish on the show? behind his back or in the golden blanket? message me and let me know if you find the answer or a video revealing the secret.
Suppose that you were sitting down at this table. The napkins are in front of you, which napkin would you take? The one on your ‘left’? Or the one on your ‘right’? The one on your left side? Or the one on your right side? Usually you would take the one on your left side. That is ‘correct’ too. But in a larger sense on society, that is wrong. Perhaps I could even substitute ‘society’ with the ‘Universe’. The correct answer is that ‘It is determined by the one who takes his or her own napkin first.’ …Yes? If the first one takes the napkin to their right, then there’s no choice but for others to also take the ‘right’ napkin. The same goes for the left. Everyone else will take the napkin to their left, because they have no other option. This is ‘society’… Who are the ones that determine the price of land first? There must have been someone who determined the value of money, first. The size of the rails on a train track? The magnitude of electricity? Laws and Regulations? Who was the first to determine these things? Did we all do it, because this is a Republic? Or was it Arbitrary? NO! The one who took the napkin first determined all of these things! The rules of this world are determined by that same principle of ‘right or left?’! In a Society like this table, a state of equilibrium, once one makes the first move, everyone must follow! In every era, this World has been operating by this napkin principle. And the one who ‘takes the napkin first’ must be someone who is respected by all. It’s not that anyone can fulfill this role… Those that are despotic or unworthy will be scorned. And those are the ‘losers’. In the case of this table, the ‘eldest’ or the ‘Master of the party’ will take the napkin first… Because everyone ‘respects’ those individuals
Really hope people don’t think that magic is real, don’t get me wrong when done properly it can be an amazing somewhat “magical” experience but there’s always an explanation, if you think that table is levitating then it might as well be Santa clause doing the trick
This is done with a gimmick rod like the zombie floating ball, very lightweight table, and the box on top has a magnet in the base, so he can lift the table with the box.
I really would love to see his show....IM guessing its all levitations; Floating Table, Dancing Giant Cane, Bubble Levitation And Manipulation, what was your favorite illusion that you saw at his show ? I really wish to see it. By the way these magic documentaries that you do about each of these magicians and getting to meet them and all is an amazing thing and really entertaining :D cudus to you (Y) I just discovered you and I'll be watching all your vids and subbing cheers dude :D ;) !
The table is made of styrofoam and weighs 250 grams. Decorated with stickers as if it were made of wood. An iron wire runs through the table and passes to the magician's hand through the cloth on the table.

I came to see how its done but now i don’t want to know anymore
What did you expose?
so how the hell does this work
The table is extremely light and the magician holds it with metal wires concealed by the table cloth.
he let goes his right hand after he holds the box which stick to the table with magnet
Jason X yes. When he let's go of the wire his other hand is holding the table with the lid of the box since its attached and doesn't come off completely. When he closes the lid he makes sure his hand is back on the metal wire
He's lifting it with nothing but his boner.
