Do you happen to have December 8 1989? I think main event was Smith vs. Angel of Death after he came back from All Japan tour? Was this last televised Stampede show?
Oh man this was when the promotion was almost done with the death throes and about to flat line. Two hundred and fifty people in a 3000 seat venue. It was sad. When it was a sellout with standing room only tickets all gone and people turned away at the gate there was nothing like it - it was sooo exciting when a belt changed hand from heel to babyface the place would just explode! I loved it so much. It has ZERO similarity to today's sports entertainment. Zero.

It's a shame Steve DiSalvo got such a late start in the business, as he could have definitely been at least moderately successful considering his size, look, presence, athleticism, agility, and competent mic skills. Unfortunately, he didn't climb into the ring until the age of 36, which is pretty darn old to be starting a pro wrestling career. I mean, others have started later, but the success rate of those who do is pretty low. I know he achieved some modicum of success down in Puerto Rico, but had he began a decade earlier, I suspect he could have had a very successful run one of the larger promotions. He could have been an excellent foil for Hogan in the late 80's to early 90's, had he another ten years of experience under his belt at that time.
Incredible match between Konnan the great and stud Arch angel. Should be in a non disqualification loser mask removal match.

Ross Hart is definitely Stu Hart’s son! Looks like him, speaks like him!

Ya..stampede wrestling actually shut down on Dec 18,1989.
Who was Konan?
Was this the final episode of Stampede Wrestling?
Yes. The promotion shut down three days later. Their last show was held in Edmonton, two days before they folded.
Who is the announcer shown at the beginning, wearing the white shirt and tie? The other announcer addresses him as, "Ross," or maybe "Russ?"
Ross Hart, the younger brother of Bret and older brother to Owen.
Thank you! @@sheldebb6197
