Turn off "web pully" (i think its been a while) in the settings for the bonework mod and you get a yank system where the webs act like stiff objects instead of grapples
Hey Doriann. If you don't like how it grapples you in boneworks, there is a setting inside of the Spider-man mod menu thing called "Pully Webs" or something like that. If you disable it, it won't pull you or items towards you like that.
I helped program the Spider-Man far from home game. Wish we had more development time to make it better! (only a few months) Also it had to run on psvr and ps4. Interesting to see the evolution of the genre~ Fun fact the original version was a 4-player race
With Blade and Sorcery you can download the spider suit mod that includes a bunch of suits. Also theres a mod called Big City that you can download that doesnt make my PC lag.
Battle talent has basically the exact same Spider-Man mod as boneworks, as well as it has the same “everything has collision” that boneworks has. But as the final kicker, it’s free and all of this can be run extremely well on the quest 2 (Oh yeah and you don’t need anything connected to activate mods, it can all be done natively in headset)
I tried the spiderman mod on battle talent yesterday, it’s like you can’t swing or climb or do anything but pull in enemies with the web. Kinda disappointing
the reason the boneworks mod swinging feels weird is because its much better to put arm pull strength to max in the settings, that way you can pull your self much harder. also its way more impactful to pull on the web in slow motion since your strength increases in slo mo making the web pull much much faster and stronger
Idk if you have covered it or not but project demigod is a really good experience. Big city, good swinging physics, web “bullets”, web lines, slow motion, multiple enemies to fight and super strength. An awesome game that you can get on the quest or pc
Hey, just in case if you make a part 3 of finding the best spider man vr game (Which is very unlikely) I suggest trying out Vertical Shift, Can’t wait for the premier btw
@@Dorainn there’s also this one other game called Yupitergrad, it’s like a combination of Portal AND Spider-Man, i don’t wanna spoil anything, so I won’t tell you anything else about the game.
@@Dorainn I found out about this other one just now, it’s another VRChat game called The Paradox, I know the title doesn't sound like a VR Spider-Man game, but it actually is, it’s like a mix of the Spider-Lair and Superfly.
For the u10 blade and sorcery update there are a couple web mods, the lashing isn’t really the best to use, if I could remember what it was called I’d say but I’m currently at work. Just search Spider-Man webs or something I guess lmao. I really feel immersed as Spider-Man when I play it
You still haven't checked out project demigod vr? It has spiderman, the flash and now superman powers with laser vision and its all in the game no mods needed
If I ever get boneworks, the one move I’m going to do is just swing my enemy (by the head) towards me, and then punch them by the head (which launches them in the air).

i mean there completely different mods one being spider-man designed and one being able to make rope its basically two different themes/mods lashing wasnt designed to be a spider man mod
Why are you still tethered for PCVR at this point? Air Link works great, as does Virtual Desktop. It shouldn't have any impact on performance and should work just as well as a link cable given your PC isn't "bleeding edge". In fact, it should actually work better than a USB 2 cable. I saw in another video you mentioned you were using one, and don't know if you've upgraded since. It is worth pointing out that you need the Quest version of VD, and that the Steam variant does not work for wireless VR with a Quest 2. There's an app you'll need to download. Honestly though, you should be just fine with Air Link. All you need is a Wifi 6 router, which you can get for relatively cheap. It's better to spend what you can afford as a higher end router will work better. If you can afford all these games, you can afford a cheap Wifi 6 router. You hook it up to the PC directly via Ethernet, and use it exclusively for the Quest 2. It's a good idea to elevate it, as Wifi kind of works like a sprinkler in that you'll get a better signal that way, but if it is in the same room as your play space it shouldn't be necessary. I keep mine on top of a bookshelf in my room. I also recommend investing in a battery pack of some kind. There are lots available at different price points, though, do be sure to get the type of charging that is compatible with the Snapdragon processor. It's Qualcomm's Quickcharge tech, which is not the same thing as Fastcharge. Quickcharge will charge your Quest 2 faster than the battery drains, Fastcharge will not. An Anker 10000 mAh battery pack with Quickcharge will run you about $30. A mounting strap is best, but you can just stick it in a pocket with a usb C cable. If you can afford a premium, one of the type designed for the Quest 2 is the best option. You can go cheap with this and it will work almost as well though. I also highly recommend the Bobo fan faceplate replacement accessory, which can be plugged into an extra port on a battery pack. It does help with cooling a little, but the real value is that it basically eliminates lens fogging. My final accessory recommendation is the hand strap style grips that Kiwi makes. The type with the battery port built in and the Index style hand straps. It's well worth the investment. You can get this stuff over time, and my recommendation is in the order I mentioned them in, with a wifi 6 router being the top priority for the best PCVR experience with a Quest 2. What little fidelity loss you might see is well worth the benefit of wireless VR.
i have upgraded my link cable to the 3.0 one kiwi design does since this video and its wayyyyy better. but yeah you're right, untethered is way better. its not like i can't play wireless pcvr, i do when i play blade and sorcery which is pretty often. i just prefer using link when im in my room, since our router is in the lounge room which is on the other side of the house. the signal drops off pretty bad from that distance. by the way cool recommendations for accessories! i kitted out my headset with the vrcover face pad and controller grips and the kiwi upgraded elite strap. so much better than a stock quest 2.
@@Dorainn Why not just get your own personal Wifi 6 router? I have a home network router in my living room too, and a separate one wired directly to my PC via Ethernet cable just for VR. There's no reason you can't have a dedicated router just for your Quest 2 in your room, it shouldn't interfere with your home network. Just make sure to set it to a separate channel and ensure it is as distant on the channel list from other network traffic as you can manage with the least amount of other local traffic. Some routers have a feature that will let you see other network traffic with the setup GUI, or there are phone apps that will do it. Just name your personal router "Quest 2" and don't give the password to anyone else in the household. Also, set your personal router to "fair" or a lower broadcast power, and only bump it up if you're having trouble connecting to your home network. This helps reduce interference from other network devices. If your PC is wired to your network via ethernet, just pass through the router. This works even if it's passing through a separate router at another point in the network. It just creates another access point for you. If not, you can still use the same wireless network for internet you're already using with whatever wifi setup you already have. You can also set up the new router as a repeater for internet over wifi and it does not need to be wired into your home network, just the PC. Just make sure your router and Quest 2 are on a 5G channel. Disable 2.4 on that router unless that's the only way you can connect to your home network for internet. If your PC's wifi is older, this might actually improve your internet speeds on the PC as well as give you a better access point for your Quest 2 to connect to for streaming. In fact, you don't even need the router itself to be directly connected to the internet to use Air Link at all. You can just hook it up to your PC and use it just to connect the Quest 2 to it, and use your PC's existing internet connection for online elements. I've done both wired directly into the network and wireless over wifi connections with my Asus AX 5700, which is a higher end router and kind of expensive, but also used a TP Link AX 1800 for a short while. The Netgear Nighthawk AX 3000 or Asus AX 1800 are both really great routers for this use. Shop around and find one or the other on sale or renewed. Should run from $60-$100, and it is well worth the price for dedicated wireless VR. These are the best "budget" routers for VR. TP Link routers are hit or miss, and some have issues with streaming VR, so avoid them. Particularly the AX 1500. Some people swear by them, but a lot of people have problems with them. Something about newer versions cause stuttering, latency spikes, and other issues for some users. I still have my Kiwi Link Cable, but only ever use it for sideloading and adding custom music to games like Beat Saber or Synth Riders since I went wireless with my own dedicated router. There's no purchase for my Quest 2 I've regretted less than getting my own router just for streaming VR.

yea without pully webs you don't really get momentum.
i did see this option and i tried putting it up and down and all other cardinal directions but it didn't seem to change much for me
Fantastic work, the editing just got even better!!
With Boneworks, you can turn off/down the "Pully Webs" option in the "Spiderman" part of the "Bonemenu".
I'd set Pully Webs to 0.5
I helped program the Spider-Man far from home game. Wish we had more development time to make it better! (only a few months) Also it had to run on psvr and ps4. Interesting to see the evolution of the genre~
Fun fact the original version was a 4-player race

You have to try resist on oculus. It’s basically Spider-Man ps4 but in vr with less content. Great swinging physics imo
