@@garryaylward8050 light and powerful is not everything and the 400 is not way lighter then this saw these huskys are smoother and get better fuel milage
@@MitchellsBackyardLoggingyeah they had to use a magnesium piston and add 7 cc to their 362 to compete with the 562xp. Not saying Stihl are junk but the magnesium piston will decrease longevity. I own Stihl, Husky, and Echo stuff…they all make good products and bad products.
@@EgoDragon1988 i do as well i have 400c and 500i and husky and echo theres things i like about all of them they have lightened up this saw a bit its not much heavier then the 550xp
@@mikegott3364 ive ran them all and compared to stihl they are with the exception of maybe the 592 but a 90cc saw should be torqy the 572 562 550 all are revy and lack torq imo and many others agree to that thats why they get them ported
@@MitchellsBackyardLogging never ran a stock one very long I guess, but my ported ones definitely don’t lack any torque. I ran a couple tanks through them before porting and didn’t think they were that bad. People often consider them to lack torque because they often have more chain speed than Stihl’s so they’re always dogging then in, sharpen your chain and let the saw do the work. To each and their own
I have a 28" bar on my 562 mk2 it handles it fine if you let the saw do the work. Good saws
Yea for sure
That seems like it's doing good, seems smooth and strong in that Harwood, pretty impressive saw I believe
I think so as well i like it
The 400c is lighter and more powerful why would you. The problem is you don’t know when you’re onto a good thing

Doesn’t seem to bog down like the ms400 which is roughly the same weight.
The 5series saws need a torque tweak about all they lack i reckon to be honest ive never ran 1
Nothing like advice from someone that knows nothing about it
That saws all top end for sure
All the 5 series are pretty well like that

No they’re not
is the 592 and 585 the only exceptions? @@mikegott3364
