Do it!! I got one a couple of months ago and I love it. I’ll pull a 28” bar with ease. Going to do a muffler mod on mine and squeeze a little more out of it. You can’t go wrong with one. Money well spent. I have an old 51 that’s from the 90’s. Original cylinder and piston and she runs great but the 562 weighs about the same.
@@taylorc2542 I'm not the expert, but outside of my operator error mentioned after refueling hot start, I guess they improved the air filter. Were you to run a dull chain and blow powder, maybe it would slide past my filter. I like to swap chains if I accidentally cut rot, soil or rocks vs. just cutting on.
Good choice , i love my 562mk2. I got about 10% gain from opening up the muffler and adding a bigger deflector, they are not as choked upas the first gens .
I definitely dont "need" it but I'm seriously wanting to buy a new 562xp mark 2.. I think I'll keep it stock and then gift it to my Dad whenever I get the chance
The full wrap handle is different between the 562XP and the 562 xp MKII according to Buckin Billy Ray. The handle kit is only about $43 for a new one, if you can find it in stock.
From the mighty Google: 560 xp vs 562xp: Husqvarna 562 XP® Mark II is adapted for longer bars (18-28") with Husqvarna large bar mount system. It is designed for use with 3/8" chains, and also features a larger chain oil tank. Husqvarna 560 XP® Mark II is adapted for bars of 15-20" and is available with . 325" or 3/8" chains.
I just bought a used 562xp cant wait to try it out my first autotune not sure what year it is but i enjoy watching your channel man keep up the awesome content
When i saw your last video i was waiting for the performance comparison stock. I guess ill still be waiting! My 562xp was my 1st ever new saw. Bummer because if there was a good difference I'd sell it and get the mk2. Its only got maybe 3 tanks through it!
Heres a riddle for you. Or maybe not. Is a 7 pin 325 sprocket and a 7 pin 3/8 sprocket pulling the cutters through the wood at the same rate at the same rpm? The 325 sprocket is smaller diameter but the teeth are also closer together. I would say off the top of my head that the tooth speed through the wood would be identical . What say you? Can we test this?😊
7 pin .325 would be a smaller distance between pins which would slow chain speed. Kinda like a cars goes faster with larger diamater tires at equal RPMs.
It makes perfect sense. Holding the throttle open allows freedom of air flow. It is very natural to think the throttle needs to be open. But... it doesn't.
Here we go again. Just like the 550xp... why not just change the name? 563xp or 561? Seriously, it's a different cylinder, different intake, different crankcase, different oiler, different bar studs, different air filter.... Why keep the same name if essentially nothing but the gas caps are interchangeable with the 562? What is happening with the Husqvarna "500" series?
Glad to see a comparison video. Tempted to have a 562mk2 be my first brand new saw.
If it runs as good or better than my original 562xp you'll love it. Yeeep, i lernt the fast idle warm start procedure, lol.

@@davidvankainen6711 Didn't the early Mark 1 have problems?

Good vid, good humor! Hmm, always ran a skip tooth 3/8ths 28” on my 60cc saws. Now I’m curious if a .325 full comp wouldn’t be better on a 28” 🤔👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks for this video. I sure wish you would have been patient and kept your stock 562 around. 😂

I'm setting here waiting on UPS to deliver my 562 MK2 today. I can't wait to try it out. Very interested in seeing your muffler mod. Subscribed!
Oh thats so sweet🥰, you have the aluminum pony porting your 562 😂
Nice shelves! Love the chainsaws

@taylorc2542 The cutters are closer together though so tooth speed is probably about the same.
Throttle needing to be pulled is dumb as shit. Once the piston is at bottom dead center the exhaust port is open to atmosphere.

👍👍 OK. Keep the grease in the drum.
I thought the only large spline 325 sprocket available was a 9 pin.
The jonsered looks so sexy
The handles will not interchange.

Not much compares to a shiny new saw👍🏻 anytime I've got a clutch drum off, I clean e'm out and lightly re grease the bearing.
There’s no reason to run .325 on a 562 because there’s no .325 large mount bar.
The 555 is small mount just like the .325 bars.
Throttle???
How does that even make sense 😂

Must be ironhorse.
18:14. Dear Boedy, you know the proper procedure for that type of grease removal is to use the band on your hat. I am ashamed.

You shouldn’t do this. Juss sayn
Do what?
You're starting to sound as grouchy as Tim these days😂
