These figures inspired by Ed McGuinness artwork have been some of my favorite DC Multiverse figures of them all. Since Superman pairs so well with the previous Bizarro, i wish McFarlane would make a Batman from the Public Enemies storyline to pair him with Batzarro. Wishfull thinking from my part, but i would love a Composite Superman in this style and a new Armored Lex Luthor since the one figure that exists is basically inmobile.
Yeah man! This is one of my favorite Supermans McFarlane has released and definitely the best use of that bulky Dark Knight Returns body! LOVE the headsculpt and the colors! He pairs SO good going against the Bizarro from the Batzarro 2 pack! Love these huge, buff McGuinness inspired figures! I agree with Punisher that we really need a McGuinness Public Enemies Batman to go up against Batzarro.
I like the second figure on the bulky body, who had long hair. I like the black and red in the chest logo for this one but won’t be getting this one. I just want the eagle to put with other animals with animal man. Lol
I agree on waiting until you get it in hands!!! This is my first time with this body buck, I pre ordered it as soon as I saw it because I felt the headsculpt fit this body the best! And it looks really good! I cancelled my preorder though.. because I FOUND him at a GameStop for $5 cheaper than I had it pre ordered!!! Opened it so quick, and I love it!!! Great review!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I also would be down to mod this figure, have you made any customs or changes to this body mold on another variant?
Good review. I really like the perfect S shield on his chest. However, I’m good with Bizarro of this same buck. This body is too buff for Superman, imo.

Just clean with alcohol first...then add your paint... Spray works best ..I use Tamiya paint... Dry quick and sticks well...👍💀

I wish they had used a regular buck for this figure. I would buy a "Worlds at War" variant, but not on that fat superman body.
