I've recently bought this in
.177 cal and its a terrific value for the money.
It's fun, accurate and appropriate for some small pesting and hits with a punch.
Another great review Andy.
I say it all the time, I could literally watch your reviews all day.
Thanks again.
It was fabulous to meet and Thank you for your help yesterday.
I’m still undecided between the BSA CLX Ultra and the HW110 as my first a gun- HW110 having been the first air gun I felt comfortable holding so it’s already got a little special place for me.
Many thanks again and maybe our paths will cross again in the future.
Happy shooting
I am here in Tijuana Mexico and love these videos. You make it easy to understand how to choose and use good air guns. I admire how you make it clear that safety is first. Thanks and see ya next week…
That’s cool 🇲🇽 hi from England 🏴
Great review as always Andy, thanks for all your hard work!
Thanks Andy, I am enjoying my Bandit that I bought from Vector Air last week. Luke was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Great another Diana product review Thanks Andy for listening to my prayers 🙏
Yay! The splatter targets ! Big visual plus to the production, esp. if watching on a small screen. Cheers!
I added the long barrel to the Bandit from my Chaser in .22 and hit 893 fps on the chronograph yesterday with 14.3 grain lead pellets.
This is a great little pistol that I've had since it released. The only downside was the broken cocking lever that many others have suffered. Instead of doing a full rebuild, I just JB welded the lever directly to the back of the bolt and all has been good for hundreds of rounds. Thanks for all the great reviews.
Hi Andy, thank you for yet another one of your excellent reviews, this pistol looks to be a really good piece of kit for the money
and think this might be another one to add to my collection..
Concurred.I definitely want one of these in .17 (4.5mm)
I was on a waiting list for about a year. I finally got a email and I bought it that day. Fun to shoot! Affordable! Accurate enough for me. I like it.
Very interesting. Thx for uploading. This pistol is on the top of my „musthave“ list 😺
That sudden maniacal laughter as soon as you hit play.
I really like listening to you with that English dialogue and thanks I have both the pcp and gas 22 cal pistols. Have a great day.
The Diana Bandit truly is a superb PCP air pistol for the price! I have one in .22 caliber. I'm getting 15 to 20 ft/lbs of energy out of it over a charge (15 shots) with the very heavy JSB .22 caliber 26 grain pellets with decent accuracy. It's great for knocking over NRA .22 rimfire steel metallic silhouettes out to 25 yards!
This Bandit seems pretty nice. Could now concider sucha thing also, since started my PCP journey a while back.
I did also once check out the Diana Chaser - cuz it being co2 - and seen it sold for only about €120 in price.
The thing is... I've just never really been a target pistol guy. I'm just sucha poor marksman - as my Beeman P17 always remind me..🤣🤣
But a big Thank You to Andy and crew once again! Always a pleasure to watch! 😊👍🏻
Remember.... you only have to be better than your buddies.
@@brettbaker5599 🤣👍🏻 Well said! So true...
Same as the Artemis pp800,
Nice little pistol.
I have one in .22 cal. & topped it with a 4-16x 44 scope, zeroed @25 yds. & tested almost all brands of pellets in from 14.00 gr. to 18.13 gr. but it’s kind of consistent on the Crosman 14.30 gr. domes! Ive’ tried an aftermarket magazine that has weaker springs that bogged down, after I load up with a heavier pellet 21.00 gr!
100 per cent excellent value 👌 👏 great video Andy.
I have this gun as my first pcp. Later on i bought a diana chaser, wich is compatible if its both the same calliber. Long story short: for 300euro's you get 1pcp pistol, 1 co2pistol, 1 pcp rifle and 1 co2 rifle...and they shoot great!!! Cheers Andy, and keep doing what you are doing. Love it! Greetings from the Netherlands..
Ps, new Gamo Arrow is out and I am going to check right now if you reviewed it yet...
Always excited when a new vid drops
QYS pellets are excellent. I’ve just switched to the streamlined version from the domed. The streamlined seem to group better
Nice little pistal Andy and I might go to the shopping for one cheers for the entertainment 👍👍
My first gun was a diana sp50. It sparked a expensive hobby.
Great film Andy gotta get one of these
Haha love these videos I've learned so much and I now own some of the pellet/bbs you've reviewed. Cheers ❤
I have the Air bug co2 version , I got a muzzle converter adapter to add a moderator. Tip for this magazine use round nose only pellets it will feed fine . No wadcutters . A good way to engage the bolt after you pull it back is to push it in with your thumb so you don’t break the thread on the bolt . Both versions are very accurate !
This is not true, we use Wad Cutters all the time, they work great. We use Hobby Sport Line .22-------11.9 gram pellets.
@@PaulBriden this is very true . Sorry Brian .
Great review Andy. I'm getting one, defo 👍
I really enjoyed this video.. thanks..
I have a CP1 that this is based on, cracking little co2 powered pistol especially with a pistol scope on it.
Thanks for that comment; I thought this looked familiar. 🙂
You just got yourself a new sub. This is just what I'm looking for.
What a great pistol loads of spec for very little money. This could be a replacement for my Daisy single pump 'target' pistol that I lent to someone and never got back after they moved house.
That sux you haven’t got it back! You could get a 60$ hand pump off of eBay I believe Vevor makes it also takes 30 pumps to pump it up! 🙂
Excellent review as usual Andy . .
I would definitely consider getting this to try out, a precharged pneumatic pistol.
Thanks for that review. I enjoyed it. maybe this could be my first air gun.
Greetings form Germany
I've had mine for 2 years now. Love it!
Can you tell me if there is a way to put pressure regulating valve on this pistol?
@@higormoreira8339 I saw a UA-cam video last year where guy did that. I'll have to search again.
@@eccrusr if possible send the channel name here..thanks
@@higormoreira8339 I didn't locate the video. I think it was for the Diana Storm rifle.
I was looking at getting a pp700sa. Now, I'm tempted by this. (Been a long time since I had my old Daisy powerline 722)
Hi Andy
Hope you are well my mate
Now that’s a nice bit of kit especially for the price I think I might have to invest in one of those for the back garden great review mate thank you 👍👍👍👍
Nice one Andy great gun. 👍
Nice review AAR! They even got tactical pistol grip and butt stock upgrades for this! Which makes it look like a very budget FX rifle in a good way!
Dear Andy, just read your comment, could you please send me sight to look/buy the upgrades you've mentioned, please, much appreciated, mick from surrey.
nice pistol! unfortunately I cannot buy it in my country, but I'd love to.
Thank you for a great reaview, Andy!
I'd move
I've got the Diana Chaser, but I'd love this PCP version in 22.
Same here!
Just another thing for modders, guntuff sell an adaptor so you can use a standard 1/2" UNF suppressor, and if your having trouble with the OEM mags CARM sell an excellent replacement
Really enjoyed you review, so much so I ended up buying one.
One request I have is how about doing a review of some red dots for pistols that are available in the UK.
Thanks John.
great review as always
It would be interesting to see more reviews on cheap Chinese airguns like the many SMK branded PCPs and springers.
Loving the cheap Spanish airgun reviews at the moment.
Type: UA-cam, China Uncensored, or China Unscripted to learn what China is doing to the world. Revelation says they will send out a 200 million man army.
I really like this Andy, could you please tell us what red dot you used please?
Your good at doing these videos 📹 thank u
As always a lovely review.
Now I just need some tips as to how convince the misses that I really need a airgun 🤔😅
thank you andy as always, can you share the link for the red dot you use?
What's the accuracy using the magazine?
What's the lowest poundage the trigger can be adjusted to?
How many owners have had the bolt handle break?
If the magazine doesn't work, file away some little amount of material to allow the pellet to pass.
I have a Diana Chaser .177 and it's a .quality. gun. I'm selling the extras, and keeping the Aspen and the Diana.
Diana makes great guns
Hello,
Just bought it. It looks excellent! I wasn't expecting that much.
Very happy with it. Thanks for your positive review (I'm from Belgium).
Not found any track of a German pilot though...
Cool. It isn't regulated, right?
Apart from the stippling on the back of the grip, and the (what appears to be) rubber rings on the bolt handle, this pistol seems to be identical to the Artemis PP800.
Yes, I have one and same
power output too.
Would be nice if it came with a shoulder stock as the C02 smk victory does..but good video again..
Hello! I left a few questions about PCP guns in general on your other video PCP pistol guide for Beginners. I do very much like the Diana Bandit and this video pretty much sold me on it.
Not sure i can really afford a pump and would consider using an air tank. Can you give me an idea of how many times you can refill the air gun from a dive tank of lets say 4 liters. I was also concerned about leaving the gun under pressure when not in use. Is there a way to bleed off the 50cc tank? I'll have to do more investigating on what needs to be added to the dive tank in order to make it useful for this purpose. I do have a couple of dive shops fairly close by and will check on what it would cost to recharge the tank.
What red dot did you use? I just got one of these gems and want on that will work/fit. Thank you wonderful video
That looks cool as hell, like a sci-fi movie prop.
Another excellent review. I thank you for all you do (even if my wallet doesn't). If I may say I do find the coming out side and outside preamble a bit unnecessary as it is pretty much a repeat (but less structured) than we have already seen. Obviously the accuracy, and indeed how the guns shoot, is an important element but the whole "And here we are outside with the xxx.." a bit unnecessary? And what about a league table of noise levels - I appreciate with the high end guns it is down to what ever Inebriated German Pilot (IGP) you choose to fit but with the lower mid range guns (which may be backyard plinkers) the performance of a supplied IGP might be an important factor?
This looks very much like the Victory CP2 with the same kind of power levels and shot count so is the only difference being it's a PCP rather than CO2?
Mr. Andy, love your reviews and based on this one I ordered one of these air pistols. It will arrive tomorrow. Mine is in 0.22, since most of my other air guns are that caliber (although I do have one Russian spring piston target Pistol in 0.177).
What Red Dot reflex site did you put on it? It looks to be the right size for the dovetail mount.
This gun has 11mm dovetail rails and most red dots I see are picatinny or the 22mm weaver style. I would rather not have to add a weaver adapter to add a red dot.
Thanks
Scott in Harwood, Maryland, USA.
Don't remember if you said it in the video or not, don't think I heard you say it. Nonetheless, you have the option to get these regulated and non-regulated versions. My buddy has haf them in his shop since late last year and you get the option of either or in both calibers.
I just bought the UK version of this gun, and it’s great. I’d love to know how to adjust the trigger pressure - any chance of a short tutorial?
There's a screw in the trigger, accessible through the slot in the trigger guard.
Pretty good shooting sir.
Super review - seems like a very good buy. "Druckluft" means compressed air, and "waffen" means gun/weapon, so it says "compressed air gun", but I suspect you already knew that, but I like your version much better :-) Thanks for the review.
Correct they are amazing for the price. US version in 177 gets about 27 good shots
Excellent review , and I must say I DO like this pistol .. quite a lot actually ...
It’s pretty accurate, can’t complain.
Thanks for the review, what sight did you use? Looking on amazon for one for my Diana pistol but its hard to trust the reviews. Thanks
I would love to see you come to the US and play with some of our airguns that are not nearly as regulated as they are on your side of the pond. Heck maybe we could even do some camping together if you're into that sort of stuff.
My personal fac video. It's good
Andy has an FAC so he has plenty that aren't power restricted.
@@handlesarefeckinstupid you need to clarify who this comment is in regard to. No one doubted or stated anything against the idea of ownership. Nor has anyone questioned the ability to acquire or process of obtaining.
Ps never assume.
Da da ding ding ding ding ding ding ding 👨❤️👨
Entry level target...before you might start spending mega money on "serious" target air pistols. Great review - keep the budget stuff coming, Andy. There is something enticing about good quality, low priced air guns.
Yep more good budget guns gets my vote, I would be interested to see the regulated version of the Diana Bandit tested as well
Hello there :) i own a Gamo Compact and a Artemis Cp-1 but what the heck, why not get an pcp also, im shooting against myself anyway haha, but how about the Beeman 2027? Its kind of the same gun, i think? But the stock seems nicer, but i like the low profile mecanism of the Bandit, hard to deside, i need help :) Best regards from Norway
What do u think of hatsan 125 sniper in .22 is it capable of fox hunting up to 50m or should i get hatsan 135
Can you use the magazine with the red dot or the scope on the 11mm rail?
what would be a good budget scope option for these kind of pistols or in my case a cp2 with the long barrel?
something between 25/50 euros. in my head it feels silly putting a 100 moneys scope on a 100 moneys rifle.
and some would consider a 100 money scope a budget one lol. i feel there isnt many options around in that price region.
Andy the next bond..🥰😎
Could you reveiw an FAC version?
Is it true that a fella must look down the barrel to read the pressure gauge? Wonderful review, thanks.
it would be great to hear your thoughts on the Beeman 2027 as well. i'm currently torn between the 2
Hi Andy
If you use 1.77 to shoot a piegeon in the chest at 50 yards would it dispatch it I’m thinking of buying the Vixen short in 1.77 could you give me any advice at all
Is there a throttle valve for this pistol? it shares the same valve as stormrider?
Always come to your videos for good information but I was wondering if you could do a review on a KUZEY K600 .22 SYNTHETIC please
I have this one. Just nothing to say but excellent shooting toy.
No regulation, right? Thnx
@@PureAwareness76 No, it doesn't have it. I've heard that some "masters of arms" make their own but have never seen such upgrades with my own eyes.
Brilliant value for money
Many of the things you said I entirely agree with since I have owned this version of the gun from the time it came out, 2-3 years. However I cannot agree with the stock as I am only 5‘6“ and do not have gorilla hands 😉. Being in the USA mine is a full power version in 177. I have comfortably shot it at 25 yards. I have one expensive pistol and it comes very close to it in accuracy which is shocking! I was surprised that you single loaded. The magazines are quite good and I get to 2+ mags out of one air fill, 16-18 shots on the chronometer. My only complaint is that the gauge failed early on.
Don't feel bad Andy, I read the same inebriated German pilot.
😂 "Druck" is not the translation for drunken, means pressure!
@@EbolaS007 Maybe the pilot was "Druckbetankt"? ;)
Is there a best range when i adjust the sight on it ??
same gun as the SMK PP800, yes all the bits are swappable with that and the CP2, never liked the chunky wooden grip so swapped it out for the CP2 grip and shoulder stock, and a cerrato 4-9x 40 scope, to help with old tired eyes, spot on little plinker/ratter
Long barrel and bullpup it :-D
I've got a cp2 and am thinking of doing the same
@@jksof I did a Z frame type thing, looked pretty good and was 31" with moderator on iirc.
@AAR - can you give some info on your preferred red dot sights please that would suit the gun and this price point? - thanks. great review by the way, and this looks very tempting
I have a walther toppoint VI on it and it works briljant. One can hit it's mother in law from around the corner 5 miles away
Great review Andy but I am gutted, I recently bought a Co2 pistol, that looks much better and very reasonable.
Hi Andy have you ever done a review on the kral npo3
Is the pp800 silencer removable?
Andy, always a pleasur to watch your videos.
"Druckluftwaffe" means "compressed air waepon" which is a general term for any air gun with spring, pcp or similar. Could you say more regarding red dot and pistol scopes for a budget gut like the diana? It would be much appreciated. Thanks
Don't you mean compressed air *gun* ?
Hi Andy, do you have a link to the red dot sight you we’re using in this video please?
Don’t worry about replying I’ve bought one now lol 😂
Is this compatible to interchange with the cp2?
Did you have to add a rail to mount the red dot?
I don’t care about the guns, I just love the reviews!
Hi Andy, I realy enjoyed your review on the bandit but I was wondering is it the same as the beeman 2027 or have you done a review on one of those yet
had a minor problem with my Bandit, air leaking from filling probe opening
Now sorted! the filling port is not on the diameter of the body hence the dust cover only lines up in one of the two 180 degree possibilities. This means that in one position the filling probe will not be able to completely enter the hole as the far side will be partly obstructed by the dust shroud.
In the other position the pointed end of the probe will just emerge from the far side of the dust shroud ie. the seal is complete.
Hope this may help anyone who has this problem, just turn the dust cover 180 degrees.!
Originally reported this as a minor fault but my comment has misteriously dissapeared ???
how to fit a red dot? thanks andy
