Titziana Terenzi 100% has a DNA to their line. I dislike nearly everything from them because of it. I do like Cassiopeia, Delox, and Chiron. Everything else I don’t care for though.

Great haul Jackie. The musks in TT fragrances are the exact same. They carry the dna of the brand it seems, and it’s 99% of their fragrances. This is why most people feel that, once you’ve smelled one TT, you’ve smelled them all 😩😂

Hi Jackie, that is a nice haul. I have Lira and Ex Indolo. Do you think Unknown Pleasures would be a safe blind buy if you love them both? I think I am the only one on the planet who doesn't like the Argos bottles. I just don't like that Roman/Greek aestethic. Same with Electimuss. They are just not refined, elegant or classy to me. Plus you can kill someone with them lol. TT is not a house I match with, so I have stopped testing. I have Lince, what a stinker, trying to offload. I would love to have a cupcake, but they don't sell them in the Netherlands. I'm not gonna order from the US; they're pricey enough as it is.
I think there is a good chance you’ll love unknown pleasures if you enjoy lemon gourmands. I can’t guarantee it of course, but unknown pleasures is so good to me! ❤️

Hi Jackie, girl Andromeda had me like that after I purchased it. I was like why did I buy this. BUT I just was going to the doctor and decided to douse myself in it, cause why not. I got so many compliments and I went to the grocery store and the dry down is splendid and the longevity is unmatched, so I would give it a good wear test before decluttering 😊. But I have over 400 bottles so I'm clearly not big on decluttering..lol. Keep up the great content! ❤🎉

Try spraying the TT about 10 times (to get some air in it and let out the initial blast of alcohol out) then put it in a cold, dark, and dry place (drawer or cabinet) to rest. Ideally 2-3 weeks plus so it can oxidize (correct term is oxidize, not “macerate” - it’s already macerated, meaning the ingredients have blended and melded like the perfumer wanted it to) by the house prior to them releasing it for purchase) and it might change to what you were expecting. I do this with all my new bottles - they just get better especially deeper scents (vanillas, ambers, sandalwoods, patchoulis) but even my lighter, fresh ones ones. They just get better.
I do find that sometimes perfumes still need time to macerate as some perfumers skip this step or shorten it. Especially dupe houses. Oxidization is great but some still need time to actually settle and that’s why “macerate”gets used. I have sprayed my TT fragrance and put it away. I can’t wait to take it out in a few weeks and see if I love it. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏼 ❤
From Tiziani Terrenzi I have Kirke, Cassioepea and Delox. Delox is my favorite (similar to Roses Vanille which I don't have). I do like the house - unique, great longevity and easy to find on the discounters.

I’m really looking forward to getting my nose on Fall of Phaeton, it sounds wonderful! I just purchased a 30ml Triumph of Bacchus and I’m really liking that one. The Argos bottles and packaging really are works of art.

I’m shocked you don’t have house of sillage Minnie Mouse. It’s a gourmand lover’s heaven dream. IT’s raspberry marshmallow and dries down as a vanilla caramel marshmallow.
I’ve tried a sample and loved it. I may purchase it…. Have not made up my mind yet, but I agree it’s delicious.

Some fragrances have to sit for a few weeks after being shipped, especially in extreme weather -- they need time to "settle." This happens to at least half the fragrances I buy online. I don't think BN9 GV smells like BR540 very much -- maybe a hint but there's a lot of other things going on. For me, I still like and enjoy BR540, while GV was an infatuation at first sniff on paper that became gross later when the ambroxan took over. It's like on a first date when you're drooling over the hot guy with a great job and then you notice he undertips the service when the bill comes. What a turnoff -- that is Ambroxan to me, lol

OMG...A salesperson recommended Fall of Phaeton and gave me a sample last weekend. I had not heard of the house and this fragrance is NOT listed on fragrantica..so I went in blind on her recommendation..well I tried it today..and was like OMG..I love it! Then I jumped on UA-cam to see if anyone was talking about it...and here you are! An amazing wow fragrance...I will be getting a full bottle. Glad you like it too! I think I will order a discovery set.❤ Love the names and the story behind the scents...what goes with better perfume then beautiful art and a dramatic story.

I detest BR540 and Greenwich Village does not smell like that to me. I am a huge fan of Bond No9. Is that Nomad on your shelf? I love Nomad, but my number Bond is Dubai Platinum. Tiziana Terenzi is not a house I am a fan of either but I had a decant of Andromeda and it was okay but not a love. You probably need to let it macerate. I love Rouge Smoking. Lira by Xerjoff was a tad too sweet for me.

Performance is a tough issue. When I first got into the fragrance hobby, I blind bought six designers based on UA-camr recommendations. I liked or loved all of them & one was Gucci Pour homme 2, which I knew had pore performance. It lasted about only an hour but I got compliments & found it relaxing. I later found that laying it with Molecule 02 made it last almost 8 hours on my skin but I would have been fine with it even if it didn't.
I agree, there are so many factors that go into performance. Sometimes the scent just makes it worth it. 💕

Argos as a company is trash with the worst customer service along with another scamming of a brand. It’s been over a month since I’ve email them, I never got a response. Yet they wrote on their page if you have a return/exchange, contact customer service first. I learned my lesson, I’ll never purchase from brands like this again.
I recently got Hufflepuff during the sale too. Wearing it today, and it’s such a beautifully blended, airy lemon-coconut-vanilla! I adore Greenwich Village and also find it very distinct from BR540! What a great haul 🙌🏿

I really want to try Greenwich village but bond no9 are really not much of a thing in the UK... I've never seen them, even in high end stores. I probably need to order a sample. I am the same as you, I didn't love br540, happy to hear they aren't that similar 😊

I don't like La Vie est Belle either. I received a sample of Iris Absolu and I couldn't stand that either. I'm not a big iris fan apparently. To me it smelled grandmotherly lol (just my opinion of course!). I did however purchase Lancome Idole Nectar and I LOVE it. It has a caramel popcorn note along with 3 different rose notes and vanilla bourbon. I'm not usually a fan of rose but mixed with those other notes, it's beautiful!
I think the Greenwich Village and Tribeca bottles are just beautiful in their simplicity. Period. Love looking at them and handling them.

Let the newly shipped perfumes settle for a minimum of 2 weeks. There is a chemical reaction that occurs in both wine and perfume when jostled. (I won’t get technical) I find some of my “loves” I hated when I first smelled and then 6 months to 1 year later I was in love.
Can’t wait to try the new Argos fragrances 😉 I agree I pulled the trigger on Ouverture and I’m so glad I did. Yes I get the whole fig too 😂

TT smells like ambroxan especially like JHAG not a perfume superdose. Andromeda smells like herbal essence and I LIVE for it.
Greenwich village totally has the same sharp note as br540 but they are step cousins twice removed lol. I decluttered Greenwich this week since I never reached for it this summer. It has a fruity funk that’s a little hard for me.

I agree! I have the Dapper version and a sample of the real deal. I sprayed each on an arm and could not tell the difference in the smell. The only difference is that the Dapper one actually lasted longer. I would still love the cupcake someday but right now I'm good with the dupe.

I have both Lira and Love and Crime, and I can pickup the differences! I love them both! Love and Crime is woodier and and more deep and thick and resinous, Lira is more citrus and aromatic, and a little lighter in texture

We definitely have the same reaction to Argos. Love over war is okay but not full bottle worthy. Birth of Venus is great but leans to feminine for me.

BTW the cinnamon in Lira calms down with rest after shipping. When I first got a decant, all I could smell was cinnamon for MONTHS and I couldn’t understand what the heck people were talking about. I tried it again later and fell in love and finally smelled how it’s supposed to smell. Got a 30ml bottle but would love a full bottle and bathe in it 😂

I purchased the sample set of Argos Perfumes. I don't normally lean towards fruity fragrances BUT Birth of Venus. OMG the peach, it was an immediate eye roll inhale moment. I am trying Fall of Phaeton as its so unique. Danae is nice too but leans a little too masculine for me. I like the dry down. Thanks for your videos! I always enjoy.

Lira to me smells exactly like Jaffa Cakes, they’re a popular snack cake in the UK. I love Jaffa Cakes but I don’t particularly want to smell like them. The blood orange in Lira is just SO strong to my nose, and I don’t think I’m a huge fan of that, but I understand why it’s a popular and well-loved fragrance for a lot of people.
I’ve always been a fan of the original LVEB just because it was the very first perfume I ever wore consistently (after I stole it from my mom lol), it was my signature scent for a long time, so smelling it now always makes me feel so nostalgic and also makes me think of my wonderful mom. However my absolute favorite flanker of LVEB is the discontinued Intense version. The notes are slightly different, & there is an added whipped cream and hazelnut note in the base… it smells delectable. You can still find it on fragrance discounter websites and reseller platforms like Mercari. I’m interested to try the Iris Absolu version, I love iris as well!

Hi Jackie! Yup, that Marcie sure is good at giving me FOMO... She recently talked of Ouverture and another Xerjoff in a video and made me want to shop... I resisted... But, I might try to find a sample.
Lira does seem to get stronger in time. That one and Itallica play hide n seek when I wear them. One minute I wonder if the scent has vanished and the other, I smell it just fine. Only have one Tiziana Terenzi and it also needed some settling down/macerating time.
Definitely get your nose on ouverture. It’s amazing but not safe. ❤️
Amazing haul Jackie! I’ve just gotten to Lancôme part and I have a question about it does it smell similar to Armani my way parfum? I don’t do well with iris but my way parfum is one I love so if it’s similar I’ll probably get it🙂
The overall composition of the fragrances are different, but the Iris is similar. Soft, feminine, and powdery…. I adore both of them.
Do yourself a favor and layer Rouge Smoking and Velvet Tonka!!!!

I get ginger and cardamom. I do feel like this is a pretty unisex fragrance.

I love Greenwich Village also and am a fan of BR540, but they are very different. Greenwich is a lot more fruity and airy. The similar vibe is the ambroxan that people are picking up I think. Ouverture is amazing ❤!

Hello Jackie, when it comes to Titiana Terenzi can I suggest you sample Al Contrario if you haven’t? I own it and personally I don’t detect musk in it because it’s a gourmand and I think it’s mostly the fruity perfumes from TT that have that musk. Al Contrario is scrumptious, but since you tried so many maybe you weren’t into it? Also have you sniffed Dionisio?
Al Contrario is similar to Tribeca. Both are soo good

Hey Miss Jax!!! Another great video. Question: re: the leather note in the upcoming Argos release, how does this one compare or not to Overture Woman from Amouage? I’m really looking for that “wow” factor, special occasion fragrance and I’ve been considering Overture but now this one has me curious. Your thoughts?
They are both very different perfumes with a wow factor! 😆 idk if I could choose. I love both but they are both very new to me. I’m wearing Fall of Phaeton now and I’m in love. 💕
