This what having a viable jungler looks like. Broxah was a good jungler but he was sorta like a one trick with Lee Sin and it kinda cost FNatic a few worlds shots. The new jungler for FNatic actually can play multiple heroes and can use different comp players in as jungler(Tank, Bruiser, even Midlaner). And Rekkles actually has a better solo laner
Its true Selfmade brought them much needed versatility but praises should also be given to Mithy.
That totally is not the reason at all. Why do people always look at individual performance or champ pool when judging the impact a player has. If you listen to the pros you'd know that's the absolute opposite of what helps a team. You can be a carry God that plays all champs and still makes your team lose every game. You're better off having a diamond player on the team that has synergy with the other players.
Aeon if you have been watching FNatic it was heavily noticeable. Broxah was the weakest link on that team. He only looked to buff steal and provided no vision and gank as a jungler. No one asked him to carry the game. That was Rekkles job. But if you noticed that broxah on too many occasions was late to rotate and kept over extended or sometimes made calls going against better judgement. Plus Broxah is by far the biggest definition of a one trick. He plays Lee Sin so well it’s like he never even played other champions. We know he does but he literally played Lee Sin about 85% of the teams matches. If that doesn’t spell one trick I don’t know what to tell you. FNatic needed a new jungler with a way bigger hero pool. They knew it and that’s why they let Broxah walk.
@@dominickspain5655 What we see as viewers is only the result, not the cause. I agree that Selfmade is better for Fnatic and he's a good player. But if you've noticed he also looks better than last year. And that's not just because he grew as a player, that's because he has good synergy with the team. Watch Rekkles' interview in the PGL yesterday and he'll explain a part of why this is happening.
It is true that Broxah underperformed in last year Worlds but you can't say that he is the weakest link. He had his moments and is a Worlds finalist because of the mid jungle synergy with Caps. That synergy didn't work with Nemesis. The same reason why they let Broxah go and not because he is a Lee Sin one trick. Selfmade really fits the style of Fnatic and also complements Nemesis controlled lane prowess, with his aggressive playstyle. Fnatic really is betting on developing their young guys(Bwipo, Selfmade, Nemesis) along with seasoned veterans (Rekkles and Hylissang)

@@Borusse1900YG There was a vision for like 0,05s. You can see Xerxe placing his control ward to negate Fnatic's ward. Because of that, Hyli probably assumed, that Rek'Sai will try to get on ADC (Rekkles) over this wall. And once he saw a tunnel spawning, he was ready.

As for Bwipo, I don't think he's the secret sauce for Fnatic. Granted, he's looking a lot better now that he isn't restricted to Aatrox, Ornn, and Gangplank every game. And with Fnatic returning to their style of aggressive, "jump on you" team comps, they can run down the enemy team instead of running it down themselves.
There's more ways to carry than dealing damage
@@farisshah6060 That is very true, however, unless OG picked a proper frontline with peel and durability like Sejuani (who was not banned), MF won't be able to channel her ult, and the short-ranged Ryze will be unable to do damage.
Everyone got burst down and Nukeduck wasn't able to splitpush alone. With Alphari they could have gone 1-3-1 with Rek'ai and Nautilus supporting either solo lane.
Now that I say this, it's not Soraka's lack of damage that cost them, rather they couldn't maintain extended teamfights for the Ryze, MF, and Raka to shine.

@@aeon5566 But SR is 5v5 and he usually dies quite a lot isolated when there is no need for him to be trading/pressuring. Still one of my favorite players, but he definitely has room to growth.

@@aeon5566 i mean i sorts agreed. Caedral and bwipo were really fucking good on the caster desk...mikyx voice was annoying and he barely brought anything new or any hindsight.
@@hansoloq3467 Well we aren't all born with 100% charisma and presentation skills. Some people need to learn how this works. Many casters were determined by viewers as awful and such, but were heralded as the best a year later. For me, his voice didn't bother me. Sure he doesn't sound like he talks out of his nose like Vedius. So yea if you prefer those voices I can understand there's some contrast.
