Hi, I dont know what you are going through right now, but as a fellow human just trying to survive in the world i have one little nugget ill leave..
No matter how bad things are, no matter how bad you think they are, the bad and tough times are just a small dot on a long timeline of life. Sometimes we look back on past life experiences and are able to learn from them. Usually the tough times make us stronger. Just keep kickin, give yourself the credit you deserve. Write a letter to who or whatever is getting you down right now. Sometimes it can help to just get it out. On a better day go back and read the letter. Think of how you have grown since the day you wrote it. Every day, we gain knowledge,as well as experience in life.
Hope you start to have better days . Laugh, smile, and cry whenever you need to

I've also met some scumbag whites, and some scumbag blacks, and other races....being a shit bag doesn't have much to do with race...it has to do with who you are as a person...this should be common sense

Most people aren’t racist, they just hate ghetto people. Ghetto people come in all colors, but at their core they’re all the same. The difference is that some races admonish and shame the ghetto amongst them, other races glorify and aspire to be like the worst of their kind.

Well, well, well-come to lockdown 23&1..always entertaining..from the old days of learning how to make a swole with noodles & chips or a tattoo gun from a shaver..this channel is always elvolving..after educating us on stuff like that Josh moved on to prison stories..after that ran it’s course he was ahead of the game & went on to interviewing other men who spent time in lock-up..which many went on to start their own you-tube channels & some with a lot of success & a lot of them not paying homage to the man who put them on..but with an occasional green screen dance routine (with Lucy joining in sometimes if we’re lucky) to a goofy ass skit this channel is always evolving..hell camping in the woods & cooking in the tent to prisons shut down & filming a walk through, surfboard artwork, surfing with the go-pro, & so much more..so if you’re looking to laugh, learn or just plain have fun then your at the right place..Josh/death I’ve been subscribed since spring 2018,,20,000-50,000 subs..I watch every video because you evolve not stay stagnant..much love 23& 1

It's a very common thing joke, usually only played in County Jails. It's much harder to find somebody that dumb and trusting once you hit state ground.
Besides the pool pass, I have also seen the elevator pass, the conjical visit request form.
One time a kid came on the trustee pod(Union County, NJ), he asked me what job he had. Convicts were house according to job. Where you worked dictated what cell you lived in.
I looked at the dumb kid--- 19, suburban white kid, scrawny as fuck-- and acted excited, rubbing my hands together manically.
"It's about fucking time". I began. Then with a whistle called others over. "Man we ain't had a tier massuese in over a month. My feet are fucking killing me. You any good? Were you doing it on the bricks"?
"Massuese? No. I thought I was supposed to be in the kitchen".
His nervousness was being worn all over his face. His skinny arms displaying a nervous tic which he couldn't control.
As more ppl came over it got worse and worse for the kid. Convicts catch on quick when the bullshit is stacking.
After a few hours of everybody fucking with him about how he is going to be rubbing us all down after we did our jobs and offering him tips that the sissy who used to do it used to get his hands in shape.
Finally he could take no more and went to the officer telling him he had to be moved because he couldn't be the unit massage guy.
Really the kid wound up being kind of cool and I wound up getting him a job with me painting and drinking coffee.
Plus he had a hot sister who I wound up kicking it with and fucking when I got out.

There was a pool in the old juvenile jail in RI. It was a really old building on the compound but it had a pool and basketball court. They would let kids put on boxing gloves and handle their differences on that court with an old wooden floor. Everybody had to get chained up and taken there on a bus so we only got to go once every 3 or 4 months but that place was wild. They leveled that whole compound and put a shopping center there years ago but I'll never forget those old drafty buildings that didn't even have working hot water half the time. I have some crazy memories from that old yankee jit camp.

Something I learned when I went to jail that I’ve never heard you mention…
I was in an open pod with bunks. About 30 of us in there. I get in and find my spot. The first couple of days there was dudes just pacing around and I’m thinking these guys are ready to pop off so I’m nervous wondering what’s going on… I found out shortly after the next couple days. They weren’t ready to throw down most of the time they just bored and needed to move around. You can’t sit on them hard ass bunks too long before you get anxious and sore.

Prison fight topic of the late '90's.
The place: Jamesburg,NJ. NJ State Adolescent Correctional Facility(0-18yr olds)
My boy and I were sitting on a locker box in front of our cell. The place only had 2 speeds: boring as fuck or complete violent choas.
That day it was stuck on boring. The bordeom being exasperated by all of our youth.
About 7 black youth were around a table either playing spades or spectating.
I told my friend, "Bet I can get them all to fight".
A nervous type kid my friend said shakily, "Fight us? No. Don't".
I walked over to the table and watched a few hands be played. All the while judging the degree of tension built up among group. It had been at least 4 days since and body got sent to hospital. That was a long, long time to go there without a serious fight.
I judged the whole group to just be dying for a fight. All that was needed was a reason.
Since I had made a 4 honey bun wager with my boy, it was my job to be that reason.
I also needed to do it and stay uninvolved so as to not be in the hole commissary day to collect.
Remember this was the late '90's.
While a kid from Newark was shuffling the cards, I interrupted the already flowing convo with, "Dig, who kept it more real Biggie or Pac"?
That's was it. Nine words, and I walked away.
By the time I sat back down the volume at the table had easily quadrupled.
The topic of the argument really was not even a something that can be factually quantified. Who kept it more real? Whatever.
I didn't even have time to get comfortable on the box before a kid from Elizabeth stole off on a kid from Camden who boy quickly grabbed up the kid from Elizabeth to slam him onto the pourer concrete floor.
Two %5er's from Newark got up from the table throwing punches on anybody that was from south of New Brunswick.
More Camden kids flooded in from in front of the TV. Big bulldog kids, built like fire hydrants.
A cat from Planfield got the hard plastic mop ringer swinging laying motherfuckers down with until it was just a handle.
A white kid who thought he was black found out he wasn't. He was getting his happy ass hit by ppl from both sides of the battle.
The fight was going good, quite enjoyable it was to watch, when a Latin King from Patterson sat next to me in the box. He held out a bag of potato chips for me to take some.
"Fucking moyos(derogative word for negros)". He said crunching on a mouth of sour cream and onion joints. "Fucking animales"
    "Yeah". I replied. "Fucking savage".
I don't think today the Biggie or Pac topic would still hold enough weight to kick off a gang fight, but if you are desperate to get a block poppin' religion, race, politics, what rapper makes more money than some other rapper... . it doesn't take much.

I used to hang out with some Old Schools that stayed jos't'd out on the news. They were always talking politics and were some pretty smart guys. I used to love watching the news and discussing current and past events with them and debating what was gonna go down next. It'd be after breakfast and next thing I'd know BOOM it's lunch time. If you're a smart guy and not violating and ever find yourself doing time, look for those sorts of older cats. The chess playing types. If they feel like you're not about any bullshit you'll probably have some pretty solid buddies to run it with. One of these guys after the system got us separated I used to write back and forth about politics I missed him so much. Wherever he is, I hope he's doing well.
