- Former Labor MP Michael Danby says Democrats are “sunk” if Donald Trump keeps quiet as calls grow for Joe Biden to step down as presidential candidate.
“He’s [Donald Trump] apparently got a new deputy communications leader who has convinced him to stay more message-disciplined,” he told Sky News Australia host James Macpherson.
“Particularly people who are senators or congressmen are going to be dragged down if Biden is still the candidate.”
