- A double feature today, the RU 251 & Me 262A-1a/U1 in War Thunder! This is a much longer video than I usually do but I get a lot of comments saying I cherry pick games, so here... just have them all! :)
The Me 262A-1a/U1 comes absolutely jam packed with cannons. Six cannons to be exact. The Mk103's have a 30mm HVAP belt that can deal 90mm of penetration. These cannons can absolutely shred tanks from top down. This jet fighter also comes with MG151 and Mk108's that can absolutely obliterate air craft.
The RU251 is an expensive premium light tank for the German tech tree. It's one of the most pay to win vehicles in the game, in my opinion. It can deal with any threat it faces frontally and can get around the battlefield with ease.

I remember oxy talking about how gaijin possibly cant nerf premiums since they are a paid product?
I also heard another content creator say something similar with European laws and altering paid products the analogy that was used was 'you cant buy a diamond ring for a company to tell you that they put too many diamonds on it for them to just come and remove some because they fucked up'
I do agree some premiums are very clubby. the RU is up there on my list with things like the TIS MA

@@xanielkusa7483 I think you can change the br bit you can't change things like fire rate or climb rate because you change the product itself instead of where you can use it. There may also be a difference in ge or patch vehicles but I am not sure with newer laws regarding in game currency and lootboxes and those things

In probably any case in which "MK" is used for a German weapon, it stands as an abreviation for Maschinenkanone (=machine canon).
The term that comes closest to the english MK for "Mark" is Ausführung (Abv.: Ausf.) which translates to something like variant (see: PzKpfw. IV Ausf. G)

Even though IRL they fired faster than US .50 cals with comparable muzzle velocities, damage was lower but incindiary mostly fixed that, but gaijin doesnt care

I too keep the 251 in my German 7.7 lineup...I one shot yeeted an Object 279 the first time I used that lineup after the 279 was added (albeit when it was 8.3). My favorite tank in WT, most played except for the M22 (wish THAT still had scouting).

The friendly plane didn't make the wisest decision but like you said, you *chose* to go head-on with the enemy that was tailing him rather than passing them and getting on the enemy's tail, which is what you should've done.

I really enjoy the longer video formats - it helps us get a better feel for the kinda games you're gonna have, and as you said it eliminates any accusations of cherry picking.
You're clearly a very skilled War Chunder player (I should bloody think so given how many hours you've dumped into the game) and people who are petty enough to throw around 'cherry picking' Reeeeee's shouldn't be respected.

Tip for fighting all the American T29/T26/T34/T32 tanks is to aim for the floor of the crew compartment. There is always ammo there and also happens to be convenient weakness from the front. If it's front is facing you, shoot the lower glacis with the intention of hitting the ammo that's there since HEAT-FS damage is a straight line.

I own the RU-251 and I can confirm. Its able to uptier and is an absolute monster... It requires a shower afetr every use. Its just the filthiest light tank

Btw Odd and anyone else wondering, you can set the 103s to a different button to the 108s and 20s so essentially u have a tank killing button and a plane killing button so u dont waste ur 103s killing planes. The 108s are classified as additional guns, the 103s as large calibre and the 20s as small calibre

FYI the hard counter to the RU251 is the M22 locust. thing is insane.

i would say the RU-251 and the Object-120 are probably 2 of the strongest premium tanks in the game. the object 120 can still perform at 10.3 (if you dont get yeeted by a leopard sitting in a bush with thermals)

I really feel sorry for that T92... Dying that way against such a pay to win vehicle... I kniw exactly how he feels cause it happened to me once with the same round and tank, that sabot is broken, I shot the RU251 on the side of the hull and a sprocket completely stopped the shot...

where did you hear that? the Ru251 was built on the chassis of the Kanonenjagdpanzer, besides the first prototype was built in 1963, on that same year West Germany had yet to make a final decision about which of the Leopard 1 prototypes would be chosen for production, obviously you can't base something out of something you still don't know how it will be like
