I totally missed out on the svs stuff. I remember seeing it was an hour before going on sale, and then i forgot about it till later that night, and everything was all sold out. I hope more batches come out soon, i really need a decent switch for my scart inputs that have at least 2 outputs for my rt4k and crt
For posterity, you don't need an EDID spoofer or anything like that to force 480p on the Switch specifically. The option for 480p is right there in the settings menu alongside 720p and 1080p.

the hdretrovision adapters for the genesis cables do in fact have components inside to adapt them to genesis level video, afaik

Reemo should probably get a capture card that has HDR passthru and can take 4k. Doesn't need the 5x at all.
