Hey all! In the video the reason I don't give recommendations for who to hire to help Hanayama in the shareholder meetings is because who is available to you is largely random based on a number of factors such as exactly what rank you are, what side quests you've completed, etc. This similarly applies to hiring employees to man your properties. Just wanted to let you know since I didn't really touch on that in the video!
Pro tip: you can pause after you select the investor during the meeting to give you all the time you need to decide which employee to use to attack their shield. Extremely useful when you forget which color is strong against what color. Great video btw, please keep posting!
@@muchluck7981, how do you know which employee to use to attack shield? I started the board meeting with an 80% approval rating and still failed because they were unconvinced

You ideally want employees with low cost so you can spam them to quickly deal with investors and not waste precious energy.

A tip I can give to you all is to level tomoko up to at least lvl 20. When you have her at lvl 20, she will be able to run Ichiban Confectionaries all by herself. This means you can maximize the total profits of Ichiban Profits without having to have multiple employees there. This also allows you to use Omelette in other places, particularly for it's Notability rating. Also Omelette and Tomoko are the only employees who are never going to be leaving your company and also won't have their salaries suddenly rise out of nowhere. They are your most loyal and cheapest employees so if you upgrade Omelette to lvl 30 and Tomoko to lvl 20, you already are maximizing the profits you gain in general. Also another important tip, if you can keep labor costs low, you can pocket more money for the company to use, this also means making much more in the long term since the money you are not spending on labor costs is going towards your company's funding for you to use more strategically.
@@madac219 For that first part, Ichiban Conffectionaries should be your first investment. it's the only property you cannot sell and thus should be the first property you try to max out pronto. Get decently trained employees for your second property and raise Tomoko and Omelette to take care of Ichiban Properties. Once you can level Tomoko to lvl 20, she is capable of running ichiban confectionaries alone and thus maximize your profits there. As for your second location, The rule is this. Buy, upgrade, make it very good and then sell it. I did this and managed to make it through the 100 without much worry. You can also take loans but I didn't do that because I didn't want to fall into a pit of despair. You can play this game without the DLC but the DLC does help because UR's cost no money to hire and Hiring Majima yuki and aoki to help you with the second business as well as their strong stats is just a godsend.

Definitely struggled a bit from 100-50 because I wanted to do things myself and somehow lost profit by half but when I got to 50 it's smooth sailing, the shareholder meeting put me straight to 35 rank from 51 and this is probably the best tutorial by far.
Dude thank you so much I was so confused at first but you made it so simple and fun I thought this was gonna be a slog but it's such a cool addition to the game
I thank you for the guide since it helped me greatly with the intricacies of this up to a certain point. I would have loved a little bit more in-depth info in regards to certain employees and how their stats affect the performance of the store, especially since depending if they're the leaders of the team all the stats come into play, contrary to the other two which only use one of their stats.
I didn't go in-depth in the employees because in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter so long as you are maintaining blue bars on properties. The idea was to make the process as simple as possible, not to go into min/maxing the mini-game.
Great guide. I just want to add to always take a look at the referred employees. I've hired a few good managers this way, as well as my best employee in the entire company, a woman named Miyakuni. She has sky-high persuasion, even better than Hanayama's. At level 30, she has a score of 800 persuasion, and she's a blue employee, so I have her, the chicken (for cheap counters), and Hanayama. I just hit top 50 and I'm on the lookout for a very persuasive green employee, as grandma is pretty lackluster (though serviceable) at this point.
My Shareholder team tends to be Ikari (Substory 11, formerly Omelette), Kamiyama (SSR Referral, formerly Hanzo), Granny Kamataki, and Hanayama. The 1st three members hit with CHEAP command points for breaking arguments while covering all 3 colours, with Hanayama shining in the damage step. Ikari is my back-up to Hanayama due to the relatively high charisma and Cheap 5CP, as a finisher where Hanayama leaves a small amount of hp on a shareholder. Other times, Ikari does very well by himself in the damage step against RED shareholders (where he can also inflict more damage with 2 attacks for the price of 1).
Wow, an excellent guide for the business management side of this expansive game. I was fine with the expansion of the business and training employees, but the shareholder meetings were slaughtering me. Your guide put me on the right path. Thank you, ありがとう,谢谢 and 감사. Keep up the good work.
this video really helped, at the beginning you should pray for ommelette to get on television to have it easier, then u wont need a bank, i haven’t watched the entire vid as i went yolo mode after hitting top 50 and right now im top 5 with where i earn 160m~ every day. the share holder meetings are very simple, it seemed very difficult for me at first as it was new to me. not much later i hit top 1. this video really helped, thank you!
So here's a funny story I have with this minigame When I got into shareholder meetings I would see "weak" under the shareholder's arguments, and I thought that ment that my employee's argument would be weak against that, and not the other way around, so I would just do 1-2 damage to the shareholder's shield thinking " wow this is kinda hard " instead of just breaking them in one hit. And before I saw that you could buy stuff to keep your employee's moods up I thought it worked like the Cabrera minigame and that I would have to go a business segment without using them so I hired like, double the employee's I needed and almost failed to reach Nick's time limit or not going in the red
A great guide I am just about to get rank 1 tonight. I used dlc employees as well as regular recruits along with handyman. Got a board of all senior directors.
Once you get a flow going, this isnt so bad. I just got to rank 10 going by this, even with low net worth and sales, just keeping my people happy has let me get this far. Edit: I just got to rank 1 this way. Maybe it took a little longer than maybe it should, but it's done...
I finally got the hang of the mode and now my funds are over 2 billion and i got over 45 million in game money I follow the companies you mention and every open business I make over 90 mil thanks
After you figure everything out on here, with or without this video, I managed without, but it was a pain, its actually brainless fun. And your paymejt after each shareholder meeting gets higher and higher. Once you get to rank 1, you get 2m yen. Then when coming back I think its 3m yen. Decent money for peeps around chapter 6.
Thank you, I got my butt kicked by ishioda so I went back to my previous saves to regrind everyone and I realized that I needed eri so I’m trying to get her so thank you.
Once you get to 50-21 ranking and follow this guide to the teeth you can get "great" for all statuses in the shareholder meeting (you prob need Clara tho from the Hamakita park sidequest)
I'm not sure I'm doing well enough finance wise even with this guide, but thanks to it, I was able to reach Top 100 with little trouble and secure Ogata's 50 million yen investment in exchange for promising to make it to the Top 50. Hope 50 million is good for significant upgrades and training.

Definitely struggled a bit from 100-50 because I wanted to do things myself and somehow lost profit by half but when I got to 50 it's smooth sailing, the shareholder meeting put me straight to 35 rank from 51 and this is probably the best tutorial by far.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! i'm really grateful to you and your guide!!
Dude thank you so much I was so confused at first but you made it so simple and fun I thought this was gonna be a slog but it's such a cool addition to the game
You don't even believe this yourself 😅
This has to be my favorite part of the game so far
I thank you for the guide since it helped me greatly with the intricacies of this up to a certain point. I would have loved a little bit more in-depth info in regards to certain employees and how their stats affect the performance of the store, especially since depending if they're the leaders of the team all the stats come into play, contrary to the other two which only use one of their stats.
I didn't go in-depth in the employees because in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter so long as you are maintaining blue bars on properties. The idea was to make the process as simple as possible, not to go into min/maxing the mini-game.
This actually helped me drastically, ty ty
I greatly appreciate this guide, it’s been such a huge help! I’d have given up if I never found it. 😅
Dude thank you for these advices your a life saver.
I can only say, thank you very much
Thanks so much for the help! 🙌❤
This video saved my Yakuza game, thanks so much!
Super helpful guide! Thank you!
I was kinda lost with the management system but damn this guide made it easy. Thanks homie
You got me at "giant satellite laser"
This actually the best guide video for the mini game especially early game when you suck at everything.
this video really helped, at the beginning you should pray for ommelette to get on television to have it easier, then u wont need a bank, i haven’t watched the entire vid as i went yolo mode after hitting top 50 and right now im top 5 with where i earn 160m~ every day. the share holder meetings are very simple, it seemed very difficult for me at first as it was new to me.
not much later i hit top 1. this video really helped, thank you!
So here's a funny story I have with this minigame
When I got into shareholder meetings I would see "weak" under the shareholder's arguments, and I thought that ment that my employee's argument would be weak against that, and not the other way around, so I would just do 1-2 damage to the shareholder's shield thinking " wow this is kinda hard " instead of just breaking them in one hit.
And before I saw that you could buy stuff to keep your employee's moods up I thought it worked like the Cabrera minigame and that I would have to go a business segment without using them so I hired like, double the employee's I needed and almost failed to reach Nick's time limit or not going in the red
Man you really helped me out with this, thank you.
A great guide I am just about to get rank 1 tonight. I used dlc employees as well as regular recruits along with handyman. Got a board of all senior directors.
Thank you for going into detail 🙏🏿
It takes a minute to get your head around this minigame but once you do is not that hard and much easier than running a real life business.
I just came here to say this is the best mini game in the yakuza games from what I’ve played so far it’s so addicting
Once you get a flow going, this isnt so bad. I just got to rank 10 going by this, even with low net worth and sales, just keeping my people happy has let me get this far.
Edit: I just got to rank 1 this way. Maybe it took a little longer than maybe it should, but it's done...
Very helpful! I just can’t wait to END this substory and move on.
I finally got the hang of the mode and now my funds are over 2 billion and i got over 45 million in game money I follow the companies you mention and every open business I make over 90 mil thanks
I make 200 mil every open business
Dude. Thank you so fucking much. Now I'm rank 1 and the Company is a multi billion business now. ❤️💪
Nice
After you figure everything out on here, with or without this video, I managed without, but it was a pain, its actually brainless fun.
And your paymejt after each shareholder meeting gets higher and higher. Once you get to rank 1, you get 2m yen. Then when coming back I think its 3m yen.
Decent money for peeps around chapter 6.
My guy you explained everything to a t... love it thnx
Super helpful, thanks
Holy shit. Rozalin.
You might be my favorite person right now.
I'm struggling so much with the management system and I had no idea you put up a guide.
After fucking up three times on my own i finally looked up a guide and this help a lot! Thanks for this!
good job you do on your channel. subbed
Thank you so much. This helped a lot.
Clear guide! Thx :)
Thank you, I got my butt kicked by ishioda so I went back to my previous saves to regrind everyone and I realized that I needed eri so I’m trying to get her so thank you.
you just need an electric weapon and saeko as idol
@@abodieqwerty4678 I beat him 3 hours after I posted this comment

I always loved knowing that Granny is capable of running the starter shop by herself :) EDIT: Ok she needs to be raised to level 20 but still though.
Once you get to 50-21 ranking and follow this guide to the teeth you can get "great" for all statuses in the shareholder meeting
(you prob need Clara tho from the Hamakita park sidequest)
This was one of the best guides I've seen in a while, very informative, thank you 😊
Right at the start, the option to get a loan is greyed out after recruiting the guy
Thanks man, it was a helpful guide
This guide is awesome, I made serious cash on this guide
Dude, THANK YOU
I'm not sure I'm doing well enough finance wise even with this guide, but thanks to it, I was able to reach Top 100 with little trouble and secure Ogata's 50 million yen investment in exchange for promising to make it to the Top 50. Hope 50 million is good for significant upgrades and training.
Well done guide defo earned a like and sub
Thank you, I really like your channel, a lot of good info
i messed up so bad, im only making minus... rip me
Think Pokémon for the colors. Red/Fire beats grass, Green/Grass beats Water, Blue/Water beats Red/Fire.
I binged this and went from like top 100 to 1 in a day
I’m lost on how to do this and I’ve watched this video twice
Thanks for the guide! Once you know what you're doing, this mini-game is super fun and addicting. Kinda reminds me of Cookie Clicker lol.
