10:51 My dad actually stopped one these gas leak explosions from happening. He was a mailman at the time (he was one for 25 years), he dilelivered the mail to the new W.A.T.C.H. building (in kentucky) that was nearing the end of it's construction. He noticed the smell of rotten eggs (the fragrance purposefully added to gasoline in sich an instance that there is a leak) a police station was on the corner he was walking towards. He delivered their mail and told them about the smell. It hadn't been leaking very long, as the smell was only near the building. No construction would have happened for the rest of the weekend. It was likely no one would notice until it was much more dire. They stopped the leak safely and the building was saved. Along with the public library that was right next to it. My dad has a plaque in that W.A.T.C.H. building. I was 12 or 13 when this happened. It taught me that anyone can be a hero. Even a mailman.

Always a good idea to carry a road flare in your vehicle, i have a pair and there are multiple uses for them besides signaling.
In snow or ice your braking distance multiplies by 10x. Look at this driver's vision compared to their speed.... Supposed to be a 20 second gap between vehicles, he has a 2sec. In rain that needs to be 4sec meaning he would STILL crash if it was wet not ice, with that speed and level of fog.

This is a really good reminder to always travel with warm clothes in winter, keep a warm pair of mitts and a hat at a minimum in your car, but really a blanket or heavy parka in the trunk isn't a bad idea, all it takes is sliding off the road and you could be stuck for hours if the weather is this bad.
