Pretty sinister start to the song there, Gordon? I restarted the video 15 times to hear him keep saying that lol. Been a year already, can’t believe it. Still listening to FRabbit every day.
so... when i was in high school, my first favorite band was U2. it was about the time Joshua Tree and Rattle & Hum were released. While waiting for them to come out with new material, I checked out their earlier discography. (Even though its dated, i would recommend most of it!). However, U2 , completely changed their vibe and image and released Achtung Baby, Zooropa, and POP! . UM.... UH..... I tried to like it, I tried to appreciate it.... Anyways, after recognizing that the former U2 was no longer with us, I started to explore an unfamiliar genre called indie rock. At that time period, it was a different beast than it would soon become, and still a different one even now.( where's Grammarly!). After some searching, a coworker suggested Built to Spill and later Modest Mouse. I couldnt believe it! I was hooked! I had subconsciously replaced U2 with Modest Mouse. This was quite awhile before Float On. Anyways, I played the snot out of Interstate 8 and Its a Long Drive For(...). I shared all that just to say that whenever i hear this song, especially the ending, its like U2 and Modest Mouse were involved. I can completely image the last part of this song on the Joshua Tree and on Interstate 8. so yeah thanks for reading
It doesn’t matter how much time passes. My heart still hurts every time I watch
What an incredible loss. What beauty, and sadness.
I've never seen Scott have so much fun playing guitar... I miss him
You don't realize how heavy the end of this song is until you see it live.

Makes you wish UA-cam had a 'Super Like' button
A shame, the circumstances that led me to discover Frightened Rabbit. Still, I'm grateful to have found this wonderful music.
What a great artist, very regrettable i never so them live.
Any metal band would be proud of that riff that starts at 4:50. RIP, Scott. I hope you felt peace in your last moments.
@@rrg019000 I have. I agree that this arrangement is less complex than most performed by orchestras.
Brilliant
What a beautiful person, really sad. Much love to everyone.
Vegan Australian in Berlin Getting teared up today too?
I love this song so much.
While a knight in shitty armour
Rips the drunk out of her dress
One man tears into another
Hides a coward's heart in a lion's chest

So much better live!
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
Travel well.
