@rasmuspoulsen2621 i try to be one of those friends for when is gloomy and pouring bring up the moral and spirits with a few secret pints ive be storing
I've fit a milk carten in each of my chest pockets in my norrona jacket. I love a good chest pocket... but I mainly use it for mountaineering and you really don't need it for day to day use or living in a city
@jongle7144 keen eye…same brand as jacket i believe they are the Levon’s. im the type of guy to wear things till they are disintegrated from climbing to cooking to hunting and fronting. get a good 2 seasons out of them till they fall apart. comfy stretchy strategic seams in knees they are built very well
Hi, i am from an hot wheater country. I am very sensietive to cold. I always have running nose. I havr been to the UK recently for my studies. I wasnt able to cope up with the weather. It was roo cold for me. I lost about 10k pounds + 1 year of time . I need go to a cold wheather country right now. One that is colder then UK. I had one of the most expensive synthetic North face Parka's ranging about 700 pounds. I dont mind spending 2k pounds. Considering Arcteryx. However, i am strictly vegan. I don't want down. Thus, i am not looking at Canadian Goose. I have heared that RAB is better. I haven't tried. Any recommendations? I don't want any second quality. I want the beat warmest ones. Cost is not a concern at all. Please advise. I not only need a parka, i use columbia thermal insulation base layer. Is there anything better thou for non wool lovers? Again price is not a concern. Also, looking for a good gloves. I can't recall the brand i had thou. But, what would be the best? Really need an insulated pant badly. Planning to go for L.L bean fleece jeans with columbia base layer and for colder times probably a insulated north face pant the thick one. Is there anything better i can go to a specific pant then this jeans and north face insulated pants? Ehich inaulated pants are the best to keep you warm? Also, what is the best socks i can get? I have no idea. Please advise. Again price is not a concern I dont mind spending few thousand pounds on a good winter clothing. As far as i get the best insulation.

RAB has outstanding down choices. i honestly think some of the best. top your layers off with a good shell. whether gortex for rain and wind and snow or a rough canvas or danier for bush bashing. Or just your favourite sweater. weather and conditions pending OR Gear makes awesome gloves all types. i prefer outer shell mittens and light fingered gloves inside. it honestly all comes down to what you are planning on doing. i prefer going out semi cold allowing my body to heat up and heat my layers up but keeping them breathing and dry. bottom line. layers. weather. activity prepare for the worst but have confidence facing it
gore-tex pro my friend, my last one (same jacket) lasted over a decade. some glue and seams at the back came out sent it in and they gave me a huge credit towards buying a new one. if you get a chance to touch it you’ll know it can take a tree or two. i wouldn’t go getting into any gunfights but as a shell layered or not it really is thee best jacket out there for what it’s for and worth
if your hands are cold means your not working hard enough and could probably just have stayed home in front of the thermostat with your pocketless jacket hung up sorry @unclebob8419 that was the army coming out instead of the traditional side rib pockets on the SV they decided to stick the pockets next to the front main zipper i believe so when you do utilize the pockets for warming your hands you cross your arms and can armpit them with extreme efficiency as well as the pockets are much more accessible and comfortable to use when mountaineering and climbing with ropes and rigs

J'étais content de mon ancien, j'ai donc dû en acheter un nouveau

have a fella at ARC1 in BC who confirmed SV jackets and LEAF line waterproof jackets all still made here in Canada

90% of their shit comes from Chinese factories tho, which no shame. I just wish I could contact the factory and skip the arc teryx upsale tax
