I’m so sorry for your loss. May your mum rest gently in Jesus’ arms. Cling to the Lord and He will strengthen you. I’m sure of it. I pray each day for the holy souls too and in return they obtain many graces. Give it a go! I lost my only brother a couple of years ago through cancer. He was a young man and had helped me find my way back to the church after being away from God most of my life. It’s difficult not having him physically present for companionship and consolation but I know he is closer to me now more than he was before, just like your mum, please God. God is good. I will keep you in my prayers. Take care

Beautiful and timeless message. If we're discouraged, it means we trust in ourselves more than God. Trust in Him.

Isn’t it just. And we do have a tendency to trust in ourselves more than we do God unfortunately. The Surrender Novena said everyday over and over is an antidote to this though. God is good. Take care

Many times I understand concepts but have trouble, for a while at least, realizing what it means in practice.
Part way through I decided to share some of what I've been learning.
This part really helps me, beginning at about 13:23 (when we are struggling with any persistent or difficult problem) : "... stop and turn to Our Lord and say 'I trust you Lord and I place this problem in Your Sacred Hands and Your Sacred Heart and I'll let You take care of it then go about our business ... " and to do that over and over again, learning to trust more and more as we do so.
We can nourish and strengthen our trust in God by:
    1) Reading holy scripture
    2) Prayer
    3) Acts of trust in difficult moments
Thus we will experience God's faithfulness.
This, too, stood out: Discouragement = trust in ourselves rather than Our Lord.
The words about examining our conscience are very important too.
    St. Therese, pray for us!
    - Reg.

Saint Thérèse of Lisieux (French: Sainte-Thérèse de Lisieux), born Marie Françoise-Thérèse Martin (2 January 1873 - 30 September 1897), also known as Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, O.C.D., was a Roman Catholic French Discalced Carmelite nun widely venerated in modern times.
She is popularly known as "The Little Flower of Jesus" or simply "The Little Flower".
Thérèse has been a highly influential model of sanctity for Catholics and for others because of the "simplicity and practicality of her approach to the spiritual life".
Together with Saint Francis of Assisi, she is one of the most popular saints in the history of the church.
Pope Pius X called her "the greatest saint of modern times".
Thérèse felt an early call to religious life, and overcoming various obstacles, in 1888 at the early age of 15, she became a nun and joined two of her elder sisters in the cloistered Carmelite community of Lisieux, Normandy.
After nine years as a Carmelite religious, having fulfilled various offices such as sacristan and assistant to the novice mistress, and having spent her last eighteen months in Carmel in a night of faith, she died at age 24, following a slow and painful fight against tuberculosis.
Her feast day is 1 October (3 October in the extraordinary form).
Thérèse is well known throughout the world, with the Basilica of Lisieux being the second-largest place of pilgrimage in France after Lourdes.

None of this comes from Jesus Christ.Saint Days are humans venerating humans,And who has proclaimed these people TO BE THE SAINTS?Who has put the stamp and the seal on their names? Was it not the clergy?
Sadly not one of these so called saints will be in Heaven with JESUS.He said that it is not up to Him but that the FATHER-His Father decides.Popes,Cardinals,Bishops have given these high titles to themselves so that the people don't question their authority. The power was not given to them by God.They created this themselves.Blind guides leading the blind.

What pleases God is to see that we love our littleness and poverty. The blind hope in His mercy. Humility and trust. Absolute trust in Him. It is trust. And nothing but trust that must lead us to love. Unlimited trust in God’s goodness and faithfulness. What wounds God’s heart is a lack of trust. Ask for greater trust in Our Lord. Never doubt God’s love. Never doubt His faithfulness.
If trust disappears when we mess up it shows that the trust we had was not based on God but on our own gifts and abilities. Discouragement is a clear sign that we placed our trust in our ourselves and not in God.

ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: “The love of Christ is more powerful than sin and death. St. Paul explains that Christ came to forgive sin and that his love is greater than any sin, stronger than all my personal sins or those of anyone else. This is the faith of the Church. This is the Good News of God’s love that the Church proclaims throughout history and that I proclaim to you today: God loves you with an everlasting love. He loves you in Christ Jesus, his Son.”

Dear father I left you a note on another one of the videos which I doubt you ever have time to look at... And in that video I mentioned Father Rippinger and his comments about the arisen Often exemplified by those of you who seem to think the extraordinary form or the tridentine mass is the only right way to celebrate the Eucharist you're now the church recognizes 21 other valid forms and most the Latin Rite Catholics completely forget about the Greek Catholic Church and St John chrysostom and the incredibly beautiful liturgy which he gave the church which in many way precedes the Latin Rite masses that a handful of people seem to think where the only valid form etc etc I appreciate your commentary and you are the only priest of whatever disorder you belong to as which remain something of a secret for no good reason... I used to listen to you specifically when it was only available on audio and only you seem to have a sense of connection to the one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church that we all belong to and who we love as our mother... Sometimes when you listen to those who participate however indirectly with the extraordinary form - clearly the church fathers expected a much more active participation by lay Catholic in the mass --it is as if they are saying we love our mom more than anybody else which is absolute nonsense... I also did a fact check Bishop Barron and his talks and views on hell and it is very clear he holds it completely Orthodox Catholic View on the nature of hell and in fact quotes Aquinas and that it would be inconceivable just say that we have a loving God and that we have free will and not to believe that hell is the destination of those who by misusing their free will no matter how deep the love of God find themselves for eternity in hell... I'm actually almost quoting what he said which was crystal clear and I tried to find anywhere that Hans Von balthasar ever denied that there were many souls in hell or by Corollary that he denied what sister faustina or the three children at Fatima saw and their visions of hell... So I think something is in Discord..... You are a brilliant fervent holy and Orthodox Catholic priest who do I leave the church just the same way my friends and mentors Archbishop Chaput or Archbishop Sviatoslav or Archbishop Gudziak... Or venerable Fulton Sheen love the church. When Pope Paul the sixth said that the smoke of Satan has entered the church he didn't mean just that moment... And some of the worst where people like Archbishop Lefevre and those Catholics who didn't recognize Vatican want or who are in the Pius the tenth society which is a shame and an insult to Pope Pius the 10th... My point is just this but all your love for the church and as you seem to be the only one of your order and the group of sensus fidelium who continually tries to show Unity with the other billion Catholics and unlike some of your brethren who are like unfortunately bee character in CS Lewis's screwtape letters the understudy the Devil Himself who is constantly looking for a way to get the faithful to look around and criticize and judge other people in their own pews and Pat themselves on the back for their righteousness which ultimately causes a strange malevolence and apathy and lukewarmness but you already know that so thank you for this talk on my favorite saint and on St faustina and I hope I get to see you sometime and we can talk and you would hear my confession because I am a miserable sinner Love's oh holy mother the church and Barnes great strength in the Eastern Rite and in the neocatechumenal way... And the friends I have who like tridentine mass are perfectly aware that there's a reason it's called the tridentine mass because it has not been around for that long in terms of the history of the church whereas the Eastern Rite Mass and a type of mass that was celebrated in the catacombs and in Cappadocia and in the underground churches of Eastern Europe under communism I'm much more like what we do in the neocatechumenal way and yet somehow we have to bring together Eucharistic adoration the Rosary the Divine Mercy Chaplet has all of the beautiful gifts we have been given overtime without saying then and than Blahoslovyt...... that my way is better than your way....GOD LOVE YOU
    MJPR

You should learn to divide your text into paragraphs. Also, Sensus Fidelium has been a good Traditional channel, but this Divine Mercy stuff was kind of a failure. Not only that, but it brings with it all kinds of inane sentimentalism. You manage to tick all the boxes and then some. Any person with a brain criticizes, because to criticize is an act of the intellect, not of the will. That means, you criticize because you understand something. Not because you desire to criticize, like you put it there.

Calling priests Father comes from Scripture. (1 Corinthians 4:14-15) "I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as My Dearest Children. For if you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet not many Fathers. For in Christ Jesus, by the gospel, I Have Begotten You." ( 1 John 2:12-13) "I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. I write unto you, Fathers, because you have known him, who is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because you have overcome the wicked one."

@@crem6976 Jesus said :"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
16 Woe unto you, ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!
As for you being begotten, that is NOT up to you,God begets those He wants, the pure and holy, which none of you priests are.You took upon yourselves titles of being leaders and fathers and mothers but with a good dose of sins.Jesus was not only speaking to the Pharisees but also future generations who desired high places in Heaven namely YOU.Not one of you idolatrous people will enter into Heaven.

    • @crem6976
      @crem6976 4 роки тому +2

A Peppermint Candy Jesus also said (Matthew 5:29) "If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one of your members than to have your whole body thrown into hell.
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one of your members than to have your whole body go into hell." But protestants can agree with Catholics that Jesus was warning about the seriousness of sin and not meaning to literally tear your eye out. The fact that the Apostles St Paul and St John refer to the believers as their little children and they refer to themselves and other Fathers as Father in Scripture, St Paul said "You have many instructors in Christ but not many Fathers for through the Gospel of Christ Jesus I have Begotten you." This shows the context Jesus was speaking in the Gospel to recognize God as Father and not to make someone your master above God because God is the ultimate authority and Father. But if it was wrong to refer to Priests as our Spiritual Father leading us to God the true Father then the Apostles would not have referred to themselves as Father or referred to anyone as their little children. The reason we refer to Priests as Father is because it came from the Apostles in Scripture.

@@crem6976 Apostles were commissioned to go and spread the message of Jesus to the Gentiles,The Letters to Corinthians,Ephesians,Galatians etc. were sent to them to admonish them to keep to the pure teachings already planted by Paul,Timothy and others who were sent.
You are saying that b/c Paul said to Gentiles to think of him as being their loving father, that this gives the Catholic church the right to use such words as titles? No,it is still very wrong,b/c it is directing spiritual light to sinners-humans and not to God.Accordingly you would have to be already in Heaven ,not to be dead.As long as you are a human on this earth you are not alive. It means you can still go to hell on Judgment Day.Paul and John are true Saints only b/c they are now in Heaven.
First century Christians were all begotten.First the Jews then the Gentiles .Jesus said to Peter that whatever he gathers to Christ will be in His Kingdom and whatever he looses will not be .Those people did not call Paul their father. It's is a gross misuse of the scriptures on your part, lacking in true spirituality.
