They don’t seem to bother much with health and safety in the loading areas. We wouldn’t get near a workspace without full PPE. Hard hat, safety boots, hi-viz vest, safety glasses, etc etc etc. they go nuts for all that stuff here in the UK.

The next time you’re in Hawesville, if you’re in the mood for something different, that truck stop near Southwire usually has a soda that’s pretty good called SKI Tropical, it’s blue in color. It’s a lemon orange flavor. That’s the only place I’ve seen it.

In his previous video he talked about getting rid of those lights altogether as they are becoming problematic.

Dan, in most locations the fleas and ticks die after the first frost.
Yeah??? Well hes in alot of locations that don't frost! Warm climates ya know??? Smh
My vet said you only need to do heartworm prevention every two months. My GSD is 7.6 years old and never had heartworm prevention or flea and tick. He gets tested for heartworm annually. Finally found two ticks on him this year. Flea and Tick shampoo got rid of them fast. Too many dogs have reactions to medication and I don't want to risk it.

it was always cool shifting gears smoothly and not jerking around trying to get it in gear. once i got out of school, didnt have that problem
Empty trucks waiting for freight used to be almost non existent. Except for CA. Normally a driver could easily book freight while inbound and if you didn't accept something before you got empty you had to wait a day or more because the freight that was available was already accepted by inbound trucks. But, back in the 90s you almost never found a load until you got empty. The streamlined system they run now has helped tremendously.

Good morning! Your better off using a battery powered leaf blower for the cab. It's very comforting to see when someone knows what there doing. I've talked to other drivers and it's bad everywhere with rates. You know what you got to do, keep an eye on your expenses! Hi Bailey

Have you ever delivered to Selfridge in Mt.Clemens (Harrison Twp) now ?? The Base is right behind my establishment. My former husband lived on Base back in the day and many other places-- bc his Dad ( RIP) was in the Air Force for 22 yrs. I was on Base several times and it's like whole nother world on base !! My x was in the Army for a while too....Now he drives for Swiftee Swift for the last 20+ yrs.🙃

Hi Dan, as a 5yr flatbed\lowboy\stepdeck driver, I've never seen so many drivers that would stand behind a load being loaded by a forklift. Dangerous thing to do. I have seen loads get pushed off the decks, fall off, roll off and either hit the person, or just missed that person.
I was literally shaking my head as that driver stood between the trailers and watched the forklift load that reel. Blame to go around as he should have moved out from between the trailers and the forklift driver should have made him move. Bad scene.

Hey Dan !! With Mercer, Do they charge a ""Fuel Surcharge" on their Freight Bills as you know ,the "Diesel Prices "" aren't gona drop that much with Winter coming on ?? 🤔🤔 Too lose $$30k in 1 year is a bit to swallow as go to show what freight rates are doing !!! 🤔🤔😕
