It's so awesome to see you delve into Bruce's solo career. Vastly underrated. Accident of Birth and The Chemical Wedding are, arguably, stronger albums then anything Maiden did in the 1990's. A little bit more info, before recording Accident of Birth in 1996, Bruce actually thought his career was over. His album before, Skunkworks, didn't do so well and he thought no body cared about him anymore. It wasn't until Roy Z, one of Bruce collaborators and guitar player on some of Bruce's previous records, got in touch with him, started sending him demos and got Bruce motivated to sing again. Bruce then got Adrian Smith, who was off doing his own thing also, to perform on Accident of Birth and The Chemical Wedding. Both albums are from start to finish amazing. Really happy to see other people enjoying Bruce's solo works and hopefully you do more

He had some great solo albums. I enjoyed this one and Accident of Birth the most, but there are some solid tracks on all of them (Silver Wings, or Aces High part II, haha). Chemical Wedding is based largely on William Blake's works, by the way!

Trust me some of Bruce’s solo stuff isn’t the absolute best. But this album and accident of birth are absolutley amazing

Noticed some of the comment about Bruce playing in war torn Sarajevo. It was in 1994 when he took his solo band Skunkworks to play a concert there. He's a real hero, to get into the town he organized a lift in the back of a bright yellow truck with the Road Runner painted on it, after the helicopter they were suppose to travel on was shot down. A documentary was made all about it. Not just about Bruce and the band but about the kids/people living through it all. If you get time, check out the trailer

In April 2019 he was made an Honorary Citizen of Sarajevo.
