- Del Shields and Best of America by Horseback returned to the beautiful 13,000 acre Hughes Ranch in northern Oklahoma. Robert and wife Mandie Hughes took trail riders to a different section of the ranch to expose them to new vistas and valleys. The sunrises were breath-taking and the night stars shone in full array of their splendor. This working cattle ranch which also homes a few thousand mustangs is an Oklahoma treasure.
