    Love the intake system but personally I would skip the PC, not a fan of piggybacks.
    Only reason to use them in my opinion is when there's no other option available.
    Since you can flash this ecu with Dimsport hard/software this seems the better option to me.

    Thanks for this video - so detailed, pure gold. The airbox install on my 890 ADV was super ez with that video and now I’m looking forward to getting the airbox installed on my new ‘23 890 Duke R! 🎉

    Where does everyone grab power for the autotune?

      We would highly recommend this kit we make. It makes things very straightforward and uses the proper wires to source the power. The leads under the seat (Black/Red & Brown) that come on with the ignition would be ideal, but they don't push enough amps like the ones that are always on, (Yellow/Red $ Brown) so we use the ignition set to trigger a relay to allow the yellow/red set to power it. shop.rottweilerperformance.com/ez-power-relay-switch/

      If you need a video to show you how to replace them it's probably a better idea not to replace them yourself 🤣

    What's the difference in the race and pro intakes other than the race being carbon fiber? Any hp difference and what about weight? I have y'all's lid now but would like to do the intake now along with your pc6 with race tune. Thank you much

      The carbon fiber units are slightly lighter than the plastic, but they are mostly because we could and they are stellar looking. If you are looking to save a few bucks and are just looking for power without the exoticness of carbon fiber, the plastic PRO units perform the same.

      @@RottweilerPerformance I used the pro with you tune on the PV6. I broke into the 6's in the 1/8 mile with me at 260lbs with it. I also bought my arrow decat from you and front sprocket. I have a video of it on my channel, I've been outrunning a lot of bikes with it and about to make it faster. I appreciate y'all.

    Hi, I'm planning to get to do this mod once my akra full system arrives.... So I should be buying the
    1. Race pro intake
    2. PC6
    3. Race map
    Anything else? Do I need to purchase a fuel dongle ?

    • @RottweilerPerformance
      @RottweilerPerformance  Рік тому +1

      There is no fueling dongle for this bike available. We actually have a video coming out about this in the next week or so. The intake and PC6 is all you'll need. The maps are free when the PC6 is purchased from us and you'll just need to decide whether RACE map or STREET map is for you. Also talked about in the upcoming video. This is also written about on the pages that have the maps on our site if you want more information and linked here. www.rottweilerperformance.com/890-duke-21-pc6-rp-intake-decat-open-muffler-race-map/

      Great video. On a 2023 790 duke. It was WAY easier to put the boots onto the throttle body, then attach the airbox to the boots. It is too congested around the throttle body.
