The allegations against her have made her a PR land mine, wouldn’t be surprised if management advised to refrain from mentioning her in response. Even the HoloCure dev confirmed recently that he won’t be including her in the game, likely for the very same reasons.

Unfortunately, it tends to be out of sight, out of mind with friends you make from work, even if you were on the best of terms. It's hard when you're no longer seeing each other because you're on the same team.

I still believe that 3rd gen is the most successful gen in term of popularity and loyal fans in general. All members also are mostly active all the time.
As far as JP goes, 3rd Gen was the miracle generation.
Statistically, we can say they are the most successful gen/group based on subs, views, and projects. We can't equate how loyal fans are so we'll leave that out (and in my opinion, some holomems can have a lower sub count and have a more dedicated fanbase).

really hard to guess but Peko-chan is well known to be frugal. even after the big projects that she has been churning out since last year + senchou overtook her in terms of subcount, I think it's still safe to say that Peko-chan might still have the most savings among the four with senchou on the close 2nd.

I think they are being truthful about not reaching out to graduated members. This is even the 2nd time Pekora mentioned about. And it is actually quite realistic. They were coworkers not really friends, but that doesn’t mean they hated each other or were bad persons (maybe except Rushia).
yeah most people don't get close with coworkers in a year, especially that most those EX members are from covid times or none JP.
It's not even a matter of friendship. They have very busy jobs, which alone makes maintaining outside relationships difficult, but their jobs are also under NDA. Imagine having a job that takes up most of your time and you can't talk about it or any of your friends/coworkers to anybody outside of that job. Many NDA Vtubers have talked about falling out of touch with their irl friends because it's too difficult to talk about anything when the most influential thing in your day to day has to be a complete secret.
Not even including graduated/dismissed members, there are currently 34 active HoloJP members. It’s just not realistic to think that many people keep up with each other even if they are on good terms. And that doesn’t even include members across different branches who have expressed they hang out like IRyS/Flare or Calli/Watame.
I mean, if you work with someone enough times you're bound to become friends in some way. But they probably each have boundaries.
i think people tend to overestimate the whole "it's just business" thing, at least for some members. some of them are coworkers _and_ friends, so it's only natural. others, yeah, once they don't really see each other every day they kinda just lose touch, naturally

Kson was a famous streamer/VTuber/cosplayer in Japan before joining Hololive. She was invited to events and was even interviewed by a magazine. Kson's first stream went viral and was the single most viewed video on NND at the time. She also has an easily recognizable manner of speaking.

They didn't trust Kanatan not to accidentally leak info to Coco and they didn't trust Coco not to leak it to VShojo. In short, management saw them living together as a liability.
Remember that Mel got fired because management found out that she talked to a friend she trusted about work and said too much.

Marine took more than a year to even get closer to Pekora, her own genmates. You should know how despite her seemingly outward personality, deep down she is very sensitive person who's afraid of hurting others by her words, that's why she always hesitates on building relationships

a few EN do talk to sana still, Fuana mentioned talking with her earlier this year. Some EN met her at a con she was at in japan last year. most the holo member don't talk super often in general out side their gen or small circle.

I wonder is Pekora's wealth is comparable to music artists like Suisei and Marine? I know they invest in their MVs like Marine does. But if disregard that I am pretty sure Hololive singers Suisei and Marine earn the most in Hololive. Hololive streamers like Pekora and Miko earn alot of money for sure but I think it is not comparable to singers.
Nah, when it comes to SC's alone Pekora is the biggest earner left, with nearly 3 million dollars in SC's. Her share of that would have been around 1.5 mil before taxes. Pekora and Miko also have the highest number of memberships - having thousands of members. I don't remember about Pekora, but Miko had over 10,000 members last time I checked. That's what? Over 20 000 dollars a month? They also have high viewership, including on their VOD's, and Pekora streams a lot too, so their ad revenue shouldn't be underestimated, they are easily generating 5 figures each year from ads. And then there is merch and sponsorships, of which they sell a lot. So they make crazy amount of money... before taxes.
Pekora's Merch sells better than a dollar store in LA on black friday. She makes a ton of money from Merch. Way more than from Superchats.

Kiryu Coco have influenced so much things like making being as creative as possible or being one of member that brought in western audiences with her style of humor and memes she makes
She also helped pushed Hololive EN
Coco is basically the reason for Hololive's success and global expansion. She was also a very dependable person, who was both helpful behind the scenes, but also elevated all the other talents she collaborated with. She could even make a mistake or a screw-up of one of the girls, and make it into a meme and something endearing. For example, when Kanata launched her first merch, she had this dumb-looking T-shit with some writing on it. And it obviously didn't sell. Coco saw that, and made it into content, calling the T-shirt a rag and making fun of Kanata for selling it, and basically managed to turn it around into a very successful piece of merchandise. She stayed for very little, pushed Hololive to the moon and defined a generation, and then graduated with a bang.
You can look up the details but also Coco really didn't leave on her own terms or even Hololive's. Hololive really fought hard to keep her, but Coco completely unintentionally stepped on a Geopolitical landmine and earned China's wrath. But unwanted political drama aside, Coco/Kson is doing well these days.

The growth of Hololive put her in a complicated situation, where creative freedom was limited, as Cover was afraid of the monetization waves that hit Hololive after 2020. So she didn't really fit the corpo culture, she wanted creative freedom, and she could get it only by going indie. There was also the financial factor. Coco is American, and inherited the business-oriented mindset. Always money-oriented. She was never happy with all the cuts she had to incur on her revenue. She got over 3 million dollars in SC's, but after the UA-cam cut, and Hololive cut, she would have been left with 1.5 millions, and then she had to pay US taxes and JP taxes - by the end of that, she was likely left with less than 500k. She even said once, when she was already in Vshoujo, that she found the 50% merch revenue share unfair, in the conditions where Anycolor for example was giving the talents just 2%. So all those money she was feeling that she was losing, would have also been a deal breaker for staying in Hololive.
As an English speaker in JP, she's one of the first bridge between Hololive and the overseas market and was vocal in the creation of an EN branch. Her Asacoco news which used to come out everyday at 6am JST, keeps people updated in the goings on of all the girls, which boosted interest to the whole group. Her Reddit meme reviews were the best streamer-audience interaction Holo had. There's also that whole China controversy as well that is too long to explain. There's more but tldr she stayed for just a little over a year but made a huge difference.
Considering the situation, they could just hang out with any ex member, except that green one
