It's quite unfair, that this mission chain includes online modes. Why the hell I was even doing previous 5 missions then, if I'm completely stuck on infinite player search screen? It's a knife in the back from developer's side.
Here’s my problem, these devs continuing to force solo players to do multiplayer. Once again these rewards are locked behind co-op only OLTs & the Raid. The Raid is the real brick-wall for me as it requires players who communicate but as I can only join this mission using matchmaking you rarely get put on a team that knows what they are doing. This makes the Raids puzzles frustrating especially for new players but if they don’t use mic’s you can’t give directions. It gets to the point where one or more people will drop out making the Raid impossible to complete. I’ve only got one hero to 175 doing it entirely solo through events and that is Spiderman but it’s one fucking long grind. These devs need to do better but I don’t think they will as this is the last year of new content & support.
I KNOW! I consider myself a solo player and i'm having a lot of troubles to upgrade My Winter Soldier, sometimes i don't even find people for multiplayer missions and when i find some people i don't know what i have to do because i'm new player
Yep, honestly it's bullshit and I stopped on the last mission because one you had to play matchmaking and two that last mission is complex and long as shit. After the 5th time and working with players that got royally pissed if you didn't know exactly what to do (and some lag), I just gave up. Screw it, it's not remotely worth it.
The Omega Level Threat mission will unlock once you reach Power Level 140. Preferably it’s best to hit 150 because if you play online they will most likely kick you out for being that low. That and also just for being able to stay alive for a bit instead of getting one shotted.
I’m so confused on how to get past power level 140 any gear I recieve it is 140 I did plenty of vaults and went to most of the vendors I just don’t know how to get past 140
The soft cap level is set at Power Level 150. All your current gear that says it’s at 140 will add up to be a 150. Going beyond 150 is limiting in terms of ways to get there. You can get higher level gear by doing the weekly events, omega level threat, and playing the discordant sound raid. One thing to add on is once you hit PL 160 the omega level threat is useless for getting higher levels since it’s capped for 150-160. From there you have to do the raid or weekly event. Hope this helps!
So I can't finish the quest line as a solo player... That sucks. Very disappointing. Guess I'm uninstalling again. Haven't played in over a year, decided to reinstall to try the new characters and now I see I can't finish that.

It could be due to the update but I’m not 100% sure. Like I said wouldn’t be surprised if this is a bug especially if it’s caused by the update itself. Maybe try using one of your backup saves to see if that works?

He’s fun to play as for sure and I’m here to help! One thing to get out of the way is that it’s going to take a stupid amount of time to level up beyond 150+. This is based on how the game is in terms of receiving the proper gear from specific missions. There are 3 ways to level up your heroes above PL 150. Omega Level Threat like you mentioned, Discordant Sound Raid, and the Limited Time Events. Sadly the only way to go beyond 150 solo is through completing the limited time events that occur every 2 weeks. I think there’s like 3-5 different events that rotate and 1-2 of them will require playing online but it’s not asking for much. There’s one ongoing right now the Rooskaya Protocols Red Room Event. If you complete the main mission chain for that you’ll receive higher gear for ALL HEROES who are 150+. The remaining ones such as the OLT and Raid requires 3 other teammates to complete. It can be difficult and annoying most of the time when playing with randoms because of the lack of communication and knowledge. From my experience if I get paired up with people who are a high power level and have high XP levels I have an ok time completing the OLT and Raid. Sometimes it can be slow or sometimes we can fly through the missions. Just be aware of the situation and it most likely will take several attempts to complete depending on who you get paired with. There are videos out on how to go into the OLT or Raid and how to complete them so you can get an idea of how it is. It’s fairly simple though nothing too complicated at least I think. It just takes up a lot of time. Hope this helps and sorry for the long response 😅
You have to complete all 7 steps to get to PL 175, but first I’d recommend you get to PL 150 before you do step 6. This is because step 6 and step 7 will require you to play with 3 other people online and the final missions are the Omega Level Threat and Raid. I think if you hit 145 you can play those missions on the hardest difficulty but get to 150 to be on the safe spot. This will help you avoid getting kicked out because whenever people see someone below 150, most of the time the higher level people will place a vote to kick you. Aside from that, one way of getting to 150 quickly is to play a vault mission. Any vault will do fine and when loaded in open ALL of the chests that you can find on the map. You don’t have to do the whole vault part just open chests that are on the map itself. Pressing D-Pad up will activate Tactical Awareness and it’ll help out with finding them. After every run of the mission go to the gear vendors and purchase gear since you can find a higher piece from there and equip it. Then repeat the vault mission and gear vendor until you hit 150. You should be able to press X or Square depending what console you’re on to enable it when launching a mission. If not there is a setting you can turn on to have matchmaking enabled.
Well this sucks ass... this might be the only mission chain i'll have to leave out since the last two require multiplayer... I mean, i managed to do Step 6 just fine... except since the game is dead now it takes bloody forever to find a match... enter step 7... the last one... and i cant do it. I mean i can find a match, at times, but after searching more footage, its soooo long. I mean, that wouldn't sound bad until you realise that it reuires a whole butt load of communication in order to complete it. Like after seeing some videos on how to beat it, i feel confident, until I realise im in a match with some neanderthals (no offense to the new players) who just run around beating people up with no clue on what to do, which results in them leaving and it becoming impossible to complete... regardless I only have like 3 other mission chains and that trophy to do 50 hives, so I guess i'll just do those and be done with the game. Just rather upset that I feel like I wasted so much time playing through Winter Soldier's Mission Chain only to be blocked by something like this... and as much as I want to complete it, it doesn't seem worth it considering the rewards are just some recourses I won't use. I mean I at least want to experience the raid and I did for a bit until I got blo ked by the first puzzle room only to realise that the rest of the rooms later on are puzzles... my only question is why the devs would make one last update, knowing their game is dying, only to add multiplayer related content that no one is going to be able to complete cause no one is playing their game. New players barely even know what they're doing and its so frustrating to have to communicate with them when, as a Single Player kinda guy, I have to talk to random people I don't know... I just think this really sucks considering I feel like i might not only be missing out on some decent content but practically wasting my time doing a mission chain I can't even complete. Since communicating with randoms who may or may not listen to you as they don't know what they're doing can be a pain in the ass... especially for a game which popularity has fallen so hard that literally no one is going to use the feature... my only question is... why? Why make a mission chain to say "Yo we have cool rewards" only to say "btw you gotta do this thing you can't do lmao". Still sucks really...

I believe it was yeah. Definitely would’ve been better left alone single player but I didn’t mind the multiplayer aspect. Just wished they didn’t miss the bar because I think it’s a fun game.
Try to get to Power Level 150 to be a bit on the safe side. Especially when it comes to matchmaking for the OLT and Raid. This is so that you potentially won’t get kicked out of the lobby. Reason being is because whenever a higher level person sees someone below 150, most of the time in my experience, they place a vote to kick the under powered player.

Getting to 175 is gonna take quite some time sadly. A ridiculous amount of time to be real. Once you hit 150 the only way to level up through missions is by playing the OLT and Raid. Bad enough you can only get the rewards once a week per hero on both missions. The OLT will only provide higher gear till PL 160 and then stops. You’ll still get OLT exclusive gear of course but it won’t be higher than the capped level. Then after that you keep playing the Raid to hit PL 175. Luckily the events that go on if you check your objectives tab, will help you even more to reach PL 175. Depending on the event, you can complete multiple objectives and get a decent amount of levels off of it. Heck even if you really don’t want to do the OLT or Raid you can just do the events but they last for 2 weeks until the next one appears. Hope this helps and sorry for the long typing 😅.

I did not do heavy star and achieve level 50 before the update. I completed these missions yesterday. Does the update have anything to do with this.

Yeah you have reach power level 150 at least for it to unlock. I think 145 might work as the minimum but get to 150 to be safer.

Yup on Step 4 you have to do 4 vaults. You can do any one it does not matter and you also need Captain America and Black Widow as your partners.

The Klaue mission is the worst mission in the game. I'm at step 4 and I think this is where I'm gonna call it at 145 champion 1. 🤣

My power level is stuck at 144 power level is that a problem? Or should l completely the winter kills will that get me up?
