Totally, 1000% agreed. I wish I had seen this video like 3 months ago, I had to learn it all on my own and even so I wasn't 100% sure about some of the items, like which one is better epic or legendary.
I’ve actually got my main, Spiderman to level 172 (Champion Tree maxed out) without doing any of the Raid or OLT missions. My other heroes are between 155-159. Sure it’s a slower method but I’m not a fan of how online works in this game, matchmaking is a mess, and being forced to work as a team with clueless people who aren’t mic’d up on the Raid & OLT is beyond frustrating.

@@gaystevo18 currently outside of the OLT and Raid missions the only way to gain gear above level 140 is to do the event mission chains. Eg. Tachyon Event, Cosmic Event etc.

@@brandonadams32212 don't forget to upgrade your major artifact to level 10. That's how you cap at 150 and then you can start slowly leveling up with the missions the other guy was talking about

I'm gonna admit... I don't play the raid anymore. Simple reason is toxic players.
Recently,I told someone I haven't played the raids that often so not great at it. When I try and learn how to, I get abuse for not doing it quick enough.
I still do the Family Reunion OLT and corrupted vibranium and cosmic threat sectors so still enjoy the game overall.

Tip: Some events can't be played solo either, for the tachyon event you need multiple same hero characters in your team. Which means again multiplayer.
That event was going on when I was trying to figure out how to finaly get some gear above 140 (PL 150) as all my chars are stuck there.
So I still did not understood it after watching this video.
So i figured out that if you want to go the solo route and the event chain is also multiplayer your stuck untill the next event comes along. Man this sytem is realy, realy bad.
There has to be at least one solo event available at any time for solo players to get some higher level gear(1x a week per char for all I care).
I don't care that it takes longer just give me something., sigh. Also the fact that so many people have the same question means it's realy bad explained ingame (or basicly not at all).

They made it so damn frustrating to get higher level gear if you want to just play solo. I’d rather group up but this game isn’t popular enough to do so actively not to mention people just don’t know to complete some missions and rage quit.

OLTs suck because you can never find a person that doesn't want to kick you out or just leaves you hanging unless you have friends that play... We need more way's to hit 175 without people to play with

@@BobDuckNWeave Yes that offer more gear that don't require multiplayer.. I fucking hate the tachyon event... I want more campaign that doesn't involve people..I play a lot of online services games and it should be optional not mandatory... For all events I love the cosmic event and I like the red room I don't like the multiplayer only events

I want to start going above pl 150 with my main (kate) and all i do is the olt and the events at the moment because i cant find people to the raid with and its a bit of a slow process for me but this definitely clarified a lot more for me , thanks!

They have done a lot to clean up the progression in this game and make it less confusing, but it can still be intimidating and messy to learn, especially the specifics of the very tip of the endgame, and this is 100% the cleanest I’ve ever seen it explained for the game as it currently stands. Thanks for putting this out there. I’ve played a ton and researched a ton and this still cleared up some things.
One simple clarification question though: what is the cap on gear power level for the event meta objectives? Or does it differ per event? You called out the OLT and normal raid for capping at 150 and the elite raid at 165, but you didn’t specifically say how high the meta objectives scale. I was assuming they’d cap at 150 to funnel everyone into the raid, but you also said it was possible (albeit very slow) to reach 175 through events, so I just wanted to be sure.

Yeah the event objectives cap is 175, I didn't go super specific as that may change when Cloning Labs drops so wanted to kind of future proof the video just in case, the events actually drop gear differently per event, I'll be doing a different video on that after we see the tachyon anomaly event again 👍

The OLT can be done without communication but you absolutely have to have communication for the raid and it’s hard to find that when joining a raid. That makes it so hard to level up

Those are just the most common designations in loot-based games, they assumed gamers would have enough experience with them. Still, unsure why an in-game guide that helps explains these things isn’t implemented properly.

It’s harder to get a higher level because no one I know is level 150 or if I do a multi player game no one is playing

Quick question - is the OLT once per week or once per week per hero? Never actually done one or a raid so I'm going to branch out
I love this game but leveling up after 150 is the dumbest shit ever. they have the ridiculous champion level set at 375 to max. Iam shore if they made this gear attainable. In storage boxes or purchasable in game. people would still play the game. I don't like playing with people online cuz they either drop out or it takes forever and it's the dumbest way try to force your player base to level up. the slow content don't bother me but this is one factor that almost makes me want to just give it up. but your video is very insightful thanks
As it's a multiplayer focused game I don't see them changing that any time soon, just so you're aware.
Also, don't even really worry about Champion levels, honestly they don't make that much of a difference so just do them passively 👍

So hypothetically instead of just waiting for weekly reset to get my dudes up past 160, I could take my game offline and just use my systems internal clock and do the weekly reset everyday

Ran I to someone that was a lvl 185 an 155 for the raid.. I backed out fast ash cause the lvl 185 was frickedn champion level 250 something. Didn't wanna slow them down or get laughed at first time doing a raid💀 that was earlier today. I been playing again the past 2weeks
If only you could solo those 4player missions, I tried... but by thors hammer too many dang lunatics that don't know what there doing for my liking, I've got iron man tho at power level 156 everyone else hovers around 152, really hope that future raids n whatnot has solo options, cheers for ya run down, already know all this but good to be reminded what does what, cheers again, any way Tally ho till ya next vid 😎👍

I'm stuck on 150. I don't play on line. All my characters are on 150 but OLT and the RAID will only let me play with character at 155 or more. So basically I'm stuck and can't continue at all. Any advice anyone? Do I have to start the whole game from scratch?
OLT & Raid are multiplayer only and you only need to be 150

You won't, as explained in the video, OLT gives gear from 140-150 then you need to do the elite Raid or events to get 165 gear, this is all explained in the video

What is happening in your guide between the levels 150 - 160....how do you do it...you never show one item being leveled past 150.

Excellent video! Question about the Elite Raid: I've done it now 4-5 times. I think the first time I do it each week, I get some number of pieces that can be (but maybe not guaranteed to be?) 3 PL higher than my current gear. I ran it a second and third time during the same week, and I get 1 piece at the end that is the same as the highest piece I have in that category (so essentially running it to hope for a better stat/perk roll). For getting pieces to the 165 cap, is the elite raid the only way to get it (plus whatever event may be running)? I see somethings listed as Superior Reward but I think those are subject to the 150 cap.
Yeah Superior Rewards only drop once a week per character so the idea is you just run it with each character once a week, any more than that and you just get the gear itself rather than level ups
Forgive me I just started playing this like 2 weeks ago but I thought you couldn't hit 150 unless all spots are at 140 and major is at 10? Seemed to be true until I started leveling my Kate Bishop and she got to 150 before my major artifact has been upgraded to lvl 10. Its still not at level 10 and she is currently sitting at 151 pl. Did I break something or is that normal for her specifically? lol

Hi thanks for this video, I'm a returning player, starting from scratch on PS5 (I was playing on Steam at launch but the playerbase dropped badly), I have a question btw, do I need to equip my hightest power level gear or can I just stick with my actual build that worked a lot better to loot +2 powerlevel in OLT or Events ? I don't know if my question is clear but if I keep my 142 grear in my bag while wearing my 140 gear it's ok ?
You can keep it in your immediate inventory and that will be fine, but I recommend infusing it into the gear you like so you keep getting stronger 👍

So, we 'have' to do multiplayer for certain gear drops and such. The OLT and Raids?
Wish there was more ways for solo player to get better gear. Match making in atrocious and I should have to use a 3rd party app to find people

Is anyone else having problems upgrading gear on ps4 ? I have all resources but it wont let me which leads to my question when I'm grinding for my Jarvis Barrier while my drop be scaling from my Gear that's equipped?
I loved the video and it taught me alot but whenever I join a raid people leave because I am pl 150 and my friends don't play, any tips and it would also be great if we could run the raid on ps together because it really is hard for me to get some team mates
Make OLT first, is easier than the raid then you go 151, 152 but when you decide to do the raid people wont leave cuz youll be 155 or whatever (once a week each hero. Good luck)

Yes, it's forced multiplayer, both OLT's & both versions of the raid are like this
So what needs to be done if you don't play with other ppl to complete those types of missions

I got lvl 142 gear for everything except 1 minor artifacts thats still 140.. I played olt and raid a couple times but keep getting chest pieces. Do I need to wear the 142 gear? I like my 140 chest piece but dont want to sacrifice one of the 142 pieces to upgrade it. Or do I have to wait till the weekly reset to get another minor artifact? I'm so confused

You need to upgrade your special artifact, gear doesn't do above level 140
You could also just get modded

It does say in the video but they are Omega Level Threats, they are end game missions that are more difficult than other missions and provide superior gear, I can go into more detail on a stream if you drop by when I'm next live 👍

Honestly, it's not about the missions & content atm (obviously) but I really enjoy the build creation & theory-crafting, gear is in a much better state than it's ever been so that's where I find my enjoyment rn 👍

I am literally BLOWN AWAY at how garbage this gear system is. When compared to things like Division 2. Or destiny 2. This is mind blowingly bad.
I'm a force 167 now and have completed all the events and the elite raid for the week now I've replayed it and only get 153 and 155 pieces do you only get the high pieces once a week or all the time.

if I leveled up to 150 with a maxed out artifact and moving forward , completing OTL’s ( which I’ve noticed level me up by +1 each time I collect gear ) how difficult will it be to get to 160? Is it possible? im currently at 153 , so if I keep going is it going to bring me to 160 ? I need genuine advice as everything I’ve searched up has been pretty hazy w information.
OLT & regular raid help you to get to 160, Elite Raid is 160-175. Events help you with all of it. The shortest amount of time it'd take you get from 150 to 175 is approximately 8 weeks

If you're referring to my stream videos, post-reset refers to the time after the reset up until the end of the week

where do you access OLT or the raid im power lvl 140 and still dont have them
As mentioned in the video, you need to be at 150 before you can access either of these

You can use Events, but realistically there's no need to get to 175 unless you're doing multiplayer events

Man…sucks I wish they would have just made a real, Actual game. The kind You could just play yourself and have fun. The crappy thing is, is if I want to play co-op with my kids or something in my own home I basically can’t. I can play with a stranger who knows where, but I can’t play with my daughter two player. After you hit 175 you unlock Cloning Labs which gives you the gear to get to 185 👍

This is a complete an ABSOLUTE GARBAGE SYSTEM. Wtf
Crystal Dynamics were the wrong team to work on Marvel's Avengers I think if Square Enix did it by themselves like they did Guardians of the Galaxy it would have been very successful Crystal Dynamics are the ones that messed up Marvel's Avengers Guardians of the Galaxy is what Marvel's Avengers should be but able to switch from Heroes and I'm not saying Marvel's Avengers is a bad game but it's not great or fantastic either if I had to rate it I would give it a 7/10 just because there awesome things I love about the game especially the main campaign playing as Ms Marvel getting the Avengers back together which should have been Spider-Man but we all know that situation but yeah Marvel's Avengers could have been an easy a 9/10 game if Crystal Dynamics wasn't involved if Square Enix and insomniac games worked on Marvel's Avengers the game would have been more loved and more received with the fans but when you send out a unfinished game with bugs and glitches and adding a bunch of crap and a lot of boring side missions want people to pay actual money for skins takedowns and other things in to the game don't expect it to be successful

@@otisboy because it's a dead game do you think Crystal Dynamics care about Marvel's Avengers it's a reason why the marketplace still exist to this day because they want our money it's the only way for them to make their money there will never give us free MCU skins or takedowns and know you can get to level 175 why couldn't they keep it where it was at power level 150 beside the game is boring now there's nothing to do in the game just the same as boring side missions and when you go back to replay the main campaign or the DLCs you can't even use Spider-Man or black panther for an example let's see if I want to go through the key Bishop DLC with Spider-Man not available let's say if I I want to play as Black Panther on the hawkguy DLC not available see what I'm saying all you can do with Spider-Man is do side missions that's it Marvel's Avengers is a mess and that's the truth
@@BobDuckNWeave this game was good when it came out for like a couple of weeks or so. Now it's just a cash machine for them. Adding skins that are like 15 pounds each is ridiculous. Not listening to fans regarding adding extra new features in the game is also ignorant of them. Plus the new thor movie came out and since the dlc was more about Jane foster they didn't add her outfit since the release of the movie and instead they add these unnecessary stupid looking summer outfits? Look if you enjoy the game it's fine but honestly it's become a joke. Countless of bugs that you faced too in your livestreams that I've seen, outrageously expensive cosmetics, ignorance of the developers when it comes to listening to the fan base, matchmaking errors etc etc.
