As a person who has used android KitKat over the years, I was almost instantly able to identify the phone as running android 5 also explains the lack of youtube on the Play Store.

Fun fact: I bought a brand new Samsung galaxy m02 running real android 10 with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM for just 50$! And a huawei y6s running android 9 with 3GB RAM and 62GB tom for 100$ in my country.
They lied about it having a Mediatek MTK6889 because that's actually a decent processor. The MTK6889 is actually called the Dimensity 1000. There's no way a $42 smartphone is packing a Dimensity 1000 chip ! Whatever they have in there is probably some garbage like Rockchip or something like that !

When you had pulled down that notification tray. Right off the bat, it's some Android 4.X.X not 11 !!. They simply edited the version in the settings app. You should have tapped on the version multiple times to reveal the exact version it was running.
I actually bought one of these (same phone, different back) as i needed a stand in replacement phone quick,cheap and fast. amazon ad lied about what version of android it was, i little dissapointed lol could of bought a flip phone for half the price and would of been better

In that case it's just better to get a phone with keys since calls and messages is everything you can do. It will at least be faster and would not turn off in the middle of a call.

For 40$ you can buy a used iphone 6, it'll be much better, I still have it, but I use a 12 pro max as my main one, but if I had to, my old iphone 6 is still tottally fine, it is even still supported by youtube and snapchat, as well as whatsapp, although some apps don't work.
I can say the version number is fake they used some kind of app to modify the settings I remember it in another UA-camr's video I think it was hue Jeffery or something they use it to make you think it's android 11 when it looks like 4 or 4.11 but in this case it's 4 since it should support UA-cam on 4.11 and also they can fake specs with it

Most of the dirt cheap prepaid phones you can get at Walmart are completely usable. They're slow, glitchy and have horrible cameras, but still usable.
My 20+ year old Nokia is still usable ? Probably worth less than £4. A phone is useable if I can make calls and text not that hard
