Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is ranked among the world’s busiest airports, with an average of 1,400 arrivals and departures and 118,000 people traveling to, from and though CLT each day, according to Airports Council International’s (ACI) 2021 rankings.
ACI ranks CLT No. 5 worldwide for air traffic and No. 6 for passenger traffic, reflecting the Airport’s important role in the aviation industry and as the second-largest hub for American Airlines. ACI based its 2021 rankings on 519,895 annual aircraft arrivals and departures and an annual passenger total of 43,302,230 people.
CLT offers nonstop air service to 180 destinations around the globe and is home to eight major air carriers, 15 regional carriers and three foreign flag carriers. In 2022, CLT welcomed nearly 48 million passengers and oversaw more than 505,500 arrivals and departures. ACI 2022 data will be available in the spring of 2023.

Concourse A is the nice part of the airport. The rest of the airport isn’t as nice and I live in Charlotte and use this airport a lot
