Sarnia is a great place to live. Many people don't know the fact that Sarnia is a great place.Sarnia will grow in the next couple of years like never seen before. It has more jobs than other similar sized cities like chatham kent, St thomas, woodstock or startford.
This is very true! One of the reasons we love profiling it! Feel free to share this video and our contact i for with anyone moving we would love to help them!
Thanks for the tour! We are hoping to sell our house in rhe GTA in approximately 5 years and move to a new build (bungalow) in Sarnia. Any info on developments happening around 2027/28? How early should we start looking?
Ive lived many places in ontario, in middlesex, oxford and lambton county etc.. ive lived on a riverfront property with a beautiful view of the st clair river and its STILL my least favorite place, id STILL prefer a condo in middlesex, oxford, wellington, waterloo county etc… You dont wanna be here. For your sake, your family’s sake and your future family’s sake
What area of Sarnia would you find most resources for supports -- for example mental health, physical medical, etc I work in front line and am curious about the homeless population and location of services for folks?
Sarnia offers a robust network for mental and physical health support, including services for the homeless. The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Lambton Kent, Age Friendly Sarnia Lambton, and Victim Services of Sarnia Lambton are key resources for those in need, providing everything from mental health support to emergency assistance.
Many people cross the border to shop, but keep in mind that exchange rate and declaring customs + gas costs are all factors to think about and it might be cheaper to shop local. On that note as well we find shopping and supporting local businesses is a great way to build and maintain community.
we actually just did a podcast on this topic. Keep an eye out for it with generation master builder. He is one of the most green certified builders in Canada and he chose to build in this area.
Well I don't think there is much going on the Sarnia other that the population is declining. I moved there is 1991 and the population is less to day 70K than it was then 72K. may be a new Mayor. His incompetence, caused the Casino to be built in Point Edward. Mayor Mike, held up the development of the old down town mall. His attitude in general is poor, he once attended a Rally to chastise the US for testing a Balloon, an experiment to observe the River, while the Race track casino was dyeing for customers. He is a loser straight up. There is no growth in Sarnia it is a back water.
