You CAN step back out of range and the flamethrower has no way to hurt you but I do think if you are caught off guard or in a tight spot you can't evacuate quickly, the flamethrower is unfairly fast at killing u. As well as that if you manage to kill the flamethrower guy before he gets you, many times the DoT from the fire will finish you off. Pair that with it being able to get rid of goo AND poison, and its fair to see that maybe the utility of the weapon should be its use rather than one of the fastest DPS weps in the game
the the flamer is good when close range other than that its ass they needa nerf the fucking pistol that shit is busted

Is there any tips you could give for using the sniper? It feels a little off to me. Like should I be leading more than I actually am, how are the sights visually, are they accraute to where I should be pointing, should I stand still more often? etc.
So the sniper is hitscan, you don't need to lead, when jumping/sliding the centering is a bit off, monitor crosshair helps with that, otherwise counter strafing helps (tapping opposite direction key to stop your strafe)

How do you jump on and off the the zip lines like you’re bouncing? Insane quick scopes.
Pressing interact key to jump off, and then quickly pressing it again to reconnect.

They need to add a secondary to this gun. It’s great but close up you lose 90% of the time. It’s much easier to avoid long range gun fights than close range.
Don't you think that if they made the sniper bullets projectiles and do more dmg would be a better sniper for people who loves snipping?
