the 40 year old Australian singer has gone to great lengths to remain anonymous in an industry that is all about personal fame. Sia doesn’t appear in her own music videos and blocks her face during interviews with elaborate wigs… Cut to Wednesday nights, opening night of SeriesFest in Colorado. Sia’s attempt of maintaining private flew out the door when a strong gust of wind BLASTED her face, leaving it exposed, and of course, fans were quick to snag photos and release it to the public…So yes, it was a very quick moment but the photos live ON and on and on!
I feel bad for Sia myself… I respect her as an artist and love her music, so I hate that I’m throwing her face in your face if that’s not what she wants, she was even on carpool karaoke not long ago explaining to James Corden why she loves her wigs.
With that being said Sia’s face isn’t that MUCHHH of a mystery... Google image her and Sia’s face comes up for dayzzzzzz. How long are years to you? lol years could mean 2. She has been faceless for years. you won't see her face in anything since she decided to go back into the music industry as a performing artist. She was just writing pop songs for a while before she decided to sing the ones the didn't sell. She said herself that she was making plenty of money writing music and doing this without showing her face was just an experiment because it didn't matter if she failed. I'm glad she did it and I respect her privacy because I want her in our lives for years to come. She said in an interview if this stops working then she'll show her face again but if it's destabilizing for her I imagine we wouldn't see her sing live anymorer or anywhere. She needs to take care of herself and her own sanity. She says she she started doing it its the happiest she has ever been. I'm glad and proud of what she's accomplished. We are lucky she is still giving.

I love her since her "You've Changed" music video blasting on MTV days. And I kinda get what she mean about getting famous. There's certain aspect in publicity, that because you are famous, people want to take photo or whatever with you, even tho they don't know your works, your art, they only want to be with you simply because you are famous. So they have something to brag about because they met some celeb that they didn't care about. And truly by hiding her face so much, people will breeze through just because she thinks that Sia in your ordinary place, is only normal person and not a celeb or famous person.
