Idk we’d see people at 700lbs stepping in and jumping on the octagon which causes the other fighter and the ref to go flying which ends up ending them both
@@TheRealAbraxas 😂 we need rikishi vs Yokozuna at ufc 400 but yeah I think they should just make a bigger division instead like a super heavyweight that another comment mentioned
@@magnusisp I think if they got rid of the weight cap the fighters wouldn’t even get that much bigger. Boxing doesn’t have a weight cap and you pretty much never see boxers that are bigger than like 280 lbs because its not optimal for cardio anyways. There’s no reason to make someone like Ngannou cut weight IMO. Heavyweight is supposed to be the biggest baddest division.
@@magnusisp it makes sense for them to ask cus more chance of belt or intern belt with more divisions and more chance of money Colby & masvidal are past it and retired but 165 is much better fit for them than 170. Belal looks too small for ww too. Burns would suit 165 too 175 is perfect for hamzet
I agree and I mentioned masvidal because he was the only one I could think of who was a bit small for welterweight and would suit 165 perfectly same with ig nate and conor
It’s pointless from a fighter and promotions point of view but I wouldn’t be opposed to it, another belt to watch fights for would be fun. Would like to see super heavyweight and atomweight too, but they aren’t really necessary at all
@@magnusisp yeah well I mean allowing for more athletes to compete at the top level, but I can imagine the pain of having to sit through a co main event title fight before an actual main event
@@jude21definitely would be cool tho but I don’t think it will happen anytime soon there’s not really a huge demand for it same with super heavyweight until it becomes something people ask for then I don’t think it will happen

Belal
Colby
Burns

Fiziev
Conor
Chandler
Jailin Turner

Thank you 🙏
What about not having 265pounds cap
Idk we’d see people at 700lbs stepping in and jumping on the octagon which causes the other fighter and the ref to go flying which ends up ending them both
@@magnusisp they could easily just change the weight cap to like 300 lbs or something so we don’t have sumo wrestling matches.

@@TheRealAbraxas it’s not about weight cutting it’s the fat bastards that would then join the ufc with no weight limit
A lot of ww will drop to 165
Belal, Colby, burns
165 is big jump for most light weights
Yeah but a lot of them have been asking for 165 like fiziev and others

It will take some time, but in 3-4 years I think it could become the premium decision in the ufc
Yeah the people asking for it are like the elite fighters in their divisions
Really dumb thing to need when there is literally a 15 and 20 pound difference in the higher weights
Where are the heavyweights that ask for smaller division or lhw that ask for a bigger one it’s not dumb
@magnusisp yeah let's give Conor a break because he needed steroids to come back
@@chater60 what are you talking about
I just personally believe that a 5 pound difference between divisions is weird.
What does that have to do with Conor

Yeah I definitely agree and with atomweight title fight would reach a new low of ppv sales though 💀
