- In this video, i show you what happens after the Band of Bastards DLC, in one of the two optional endings. In this Video, i show what happens in the camp after the end if Sir Kuno takes the bribe from Lord Hagen Zoul, and betrays Sir Radzig and leaves you to your fate.
Any normal person would be a little irked at this point, so i reported them to Radzig, and then went to the camp wearing The House of Zoul armor expecting to find them wandering aimlessly, what i got was a much bigger surprise.
I liked the DLC. But the biggest challenge was to keep Kuno alive.
Yeah, that guy is pretty delicate.
Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to inform you that QUEST LOG UPDATED: KUNO IS DEAD
@@Destroyer_Of_Rats i wanted him, to fight with me , but sadly , he choose to fight with fist only
Or any of thee mean
@@Destroyer_Of_Rats inform Sir Radzig
I like the ending where you have a big battle with Zoul. Because once you defeat them all one of the bandits has 6k groschen on them you can loot.
I'm pretty sure all the loot from that battle singlehandedly rebuilt the church at Pribyslavitz
Thats great but by the time you get this far money is no object.
@@razzaus1570it is If you haven't finished rebuilding Pribytslavitz
Best ending to me is convincing him to stay by just using words.
Personally, I preferred to just throw my money at him.
His Speech check is ez, but his reaction to my rich Henry is more funny. Definitely better than a boring hollywood speech about honor blah-blah-blah.
Plus, they ignore all the loot from bandits and it alone compensates all my costs.
And I'm just not a fan of an idea of making people work for me for free just because long ago I (or in this case Radzig) helped them. They do deserve a pay, maybe not as big as their usual prices, maybe Radzig deserves a discount, but they still should be paid.
See, He says "st. George guide my hand", well I have st. Georges sword that I'll happily cut him down with. That should be insult to injury for that old man
Exactly
I got the same ending and came back expecting to kill Kuno and claim his cache of Groschen for myself. But the camp is empty.
Yeah, it really bummed me out, not being able to claim my revenge.
Like a true knight lol
Great video. I really like the added flashback scene. It really helped for the storytelling. Personally, this is my favorite ending. It makes the most sense lore wise.
Yeah, when editing it, i thought it made a lot of sense to show it, instead of just referencing it.
I didn't see that coming, thanks for showing. I really thought the flashback sequence was a nice touch.
This was my favorite ending as well. Once I killed Zoul, I pulled out my trusty bow and took out the whole band as they were trying to ride away. Bastards? We don't need no stinking bastards!
Right, disloyal mercenaries...not on my watch.
My only complaint is that you could not get a single one of their armors, when i was doing the monetary quest I knocked out like 4 monks for their robes because they had different a different pattern of something hanging off the belt, so needless to say I like good looking armors
Same, i really wanted to get that armor, but it was not my lot in life.
I WISH Kuno betrayed me. My first play through on hardcore had me successfully convincing them to fight Hagen with me, only to see them all die and leaving Hagen and 6 or 7 of his men to fight me alone! I only managed to finish off Hagen and a few others before I died. It all happened so fast too, I thought the bastards ran away! No, they just suck!
I was in the camp when they 'left'. They just disappeared and suddenly everything was grown over. At first I thought I did something wrong but apparently not
Lol, that would be interesting to see. I was hoping for some sort of armed confrontation, but at least something happened.
It would have been nice to be able to confront them, and then take back the money for yourself. It would also have been nice to be able to loot their unique skins on their armor.
Did you have to race back to their camp before reporting to Radzig, to see that? (i.e. do they return there automatically, then vanish?)
What if you convince Kuno to fight, and they all die on the field? Can you loot their gear afterwards?
@@etinarcadiaego5708 When the battle was over I fast travelled back to Rattay to tell sir Radzig that Hagen was dead, the band (or what remains of them post-battle) ride back to their camp. Out of curiosity (and hope) I went to the camp after telling Radzig to see if there was more to do. Unfortunately I couldn't talk to any of them or do anything but I stayed in the camp anyway. At around midnight or 01:00am I of the next morning I was admittedly looting the chests in the camp when all of a sudden there was long grass everywhere and everyone was gone but the tents, campfires, carts and beds were still there. At first I thought I did something wrong so I reloaded a save but didn't any looting in the camp and I still happened at around the same time.
And no, you can't loot Kuno's or his mens' things if they die in battle. I hope this was helpful
@@alistairswailes It was certainly helpful, thanks! I guess it would be poor form (not to mention dishonorable) to loot the corpse of a fairly decent man who was slain fighting a battle you had to harangue him into committing to.
I also wish we could have the opportunity to confront Kuno with the news that Henry slew Zoul one-on-one (maybe he could've offered Henry a parting gift, by way of respectful apology, before fleeing the province in shame?)
I was disappointed you couldn't just LET Kuno keep the money. Radzig has been stringing him along for a while now. He, and his men, deserve something for their efforts. Yes, I could pay him, but I'd much rather Hagen did. Of course it would also be nice to be able to take the chest for yourself, either from Hagen, or from Kuno if you did get upset about him taking the money. They gave us a lot of options, but took away an important few.
You can actually take the money. If you have Kuno side with you, and you kill all of Hagens men, you will find the coin on one of his men...i think it was about 6,000.
Ah, nice. I did kill them all, but didn't bother looting everyone.
For some odd reason after I killed Hagen his men decided to try me and all attacked. Might be a bug but wanted to share
Haha. Hagen told his guys to let me be if i killed him. But once i did it I accidently carried hagen. That most have triggered something cause they all attacked me.
I challanged him for a duel and he surrendered but I wanted his armor so bad so I killed him but then his men started attacking me so i took his armor and sword and ran off on a horse xD
Yeah, one of the times i did this, they all attacked me right after i struck the killing blow.
Most likely you hit one of them during the fight.
It's probably a bug this just barely happened to me too
I paid Kuno and also managed to save everyone from dying, I figured as much as Kuno has done for Radzig he deserved good compensation. Though this took several reloads to save all of them. What annoyed me is when I would accidentally hit one of Kuno's men and after the fight they started to attack me. The most annoying thing was when I saved everyone and after just a few minutes of them going back to their camp one or two of Kuno's men would just fall off his horse and die. I'm assuming it was because they were bleeding out, either by me on accident or by Zoul, I don't know. At least I managed to finish "The Ring of Bacchus" quest.
yeah, when i did it, i was careful to keep saves so i could go back and complete the ring of braccus quest.
After this dlc I have even less respect for Radzig. He keeps on using kuno as a favor as he likes. I wish the game would let us make an option to tell Radzig to pay that coin to kuno rather than Henry in the ending.
Played this three times just now, the final battle part. Three different endings. In one....all the Band lived! First time Dangler and the Stone bought it but we won. Last time, Zoul's men wiped out the Band very fast, Six of them were left to attack me in about 30 seconds. I ran and got on my horse and the level 20 in Bow paid off. I liked this DLC.
I got an ending where they remained on my side against Zoul but during the skirmish I accidentally hit Kuno and they turned on me. Had to get on my horse quickly and cavalry charged everyone to death.
During the final battle, i managed to keep everyone of the Band alive. Then suddenly Kuno died on the way back to Radzig. Seems like he was bleeding and bled to death while traveling.
I ended up convincing Kuno and fighting Zoul, Jan, Stephen, and Stone died. I went to the camp and no one was there. I went off to Radzig then came back, and they didn't have anything to say. Not even the other bearman brother.
Zoul! Zoul! Zoul!
It was an honourable duel...fought with swords, not a bonk
Thank you for this video. I've been thinking about this outcome, wondering whether I can track down Kuno after he takes the bribe. The only chance to find him now is before he walks off the map (assuming he does, like other NPCs).
Goddamit that's a spoiler right in the title
only an optional spoiler.
on private playthroughs, I formed a pretty good bond with the band. However, in this last one, I was playing as an honorable knight. I failed the chat check with Kuno and he made us wait to attack the bandits in the morning. After that and them looting corpses I'm confused as to how I ever saw them as good guys. Honestly, Jakey was right about them, I still killed him for treason tho. I came across this video to find their camp, I'm very sad that they are all gone. Curios if I can kill them before I report it now
So on one playthrough I let Kuno go and I dueled Hagen. Hagen was knocked unconscious and I proceeded to completely loot Hagen before he awoke. After Hagen awoke I had a dialogue tree of forcing Hagen to surrender. Hagen surrendered and I followed the tree with Hagen promising to leave the area but he couldn’t guarantee what other Zoul family would do. Because this is on my HardCore playthrough I was over burdened and had to walk to Merhojed. While chatting at the Stables the town was invaded by “Mercenaries” who killed all the guards
They didn’t aggro me...but then I started killing them and died
So I don’t know what the Kobyla dialogue tree is for actually defeating Hagen but Hagen lives
Make an interesting video though
Interesting, i may have to try that on my next go around.
Wow the subtitles are different
Its better if they do take the bribe and you challenge zoul to duel. Beating the entire group with their help is incredibly hard. 18..yes EIGHTEEN attempts...
I agree. The single combat option is my favorite ending.
Phew really ? I did it on my first try, but I ended being the sole survivor. It came down to me and one of the (half-dead) brothers vs Zoul and some half dead mercenary. Zoul took out the brother, I took the mercenary and then I had a 1v1 fight against Zoul, the whole thing was epic.
Best ending is let the mercs walk. Challenge Sir Hagan to a duel. Beat him with Head cracker when he wakes up he surrenders and renounces his grudge against Radzig. Everyone lives. I poop on 6000 Goshen.
This ending seems to be the only one where they live no matter what I do someone dies in the fight and guess my opinion is to just fight zoul on my own cause I'd rather they lived as greedy basters then for a man that doesn't pay them
The best way to end the battle without anyone dieing is telling kuno to leave and knock hagen out. When he wakes up, he surrenders
What they let you live? when i beat him they all took after me and killed me.
Don't take his stuff
For some reason i cant talk to radzig, buggy.
Camp isnt even there for me
That is certainly strange.
