Who are we?
We're Eamon and Bec, a Canadian couple who previously lived and traveled full-time in our self converted Sprinter Van!! When the pandemic hit in 2020 we made the difficult decision to abandon our van in Africa and fly home to Canada. Now we're here... living at a cabin in the Canadian wilderness looking forward to an amazing spring ahead 💐☀️ .

The entire weight of your roof is only being supported by the screws.. you needed to notch the 6x6 posts to support the 2x6 beams, and use carriage bolts. We unfortunately lost a porch roof to wind because of that mistake last year. 😔
That’s exactly what the 6x6 is for. Had me nervous the whole time watching the build. It will be work to redo but better safe than sorry.

We bought a Jackery after seeing you promote it a while back after the 3 day power outage in Texas with 3 days at 40 degrees in the house. We’ve already used it several times. We keep it in the trunk of the car when we travel just in case. Amazing piece of equipment

I‘m always amazed at how ppl hear a Canadian Accent... I mean I‘m Canadian, and maybe I just can‘t hear it, but... I just always wonder what it sounds like lol we sound like... idk even like some ppl in the states lol

@@kdaigle654 I am Californian and it took my boyfriend from Idaho to tell me that I had an accent xD we apparently don't pronounce our T's (sanna ana instead of Santa Ana) and we judge distance with time instead of miles (it takes about 45 minutes to get to LA from Oxnard) because traffic is always horrendous. Funny right? 😆
I love you guys! My spouse and myself are moving into a bus when our lease it up next month and after our road life journey we wish to buy a home in the middle of no where and enjoy life. You guys motivate us so much. Bec, we love you and I pray you during your time of grief.
